Amazing moment right now seeing Ric Flair. I feel like I just saw a moment in time. Old as fuck yeah, but everyone else worked their heart out to make this moment. Look at him... so sad, beautiful but sad. The goddamn Nature Boy, what a legend.

That shot of Flair in Andrade's arms after the pinfall. The look in Flair's eyes and face. I feel like I saw 40 years go by in that moment.

Flair can't walk, doesn't seem to know where he is and Andrade repeatedly had to put the brass knucks on his hand because Flair couldn't close his fist on his own

Watched the main event... was almost painful to watch...
Just how out of it Flair was, especially by the end.... could see it that he was just "gone". *wrestling nerd activate* and technically the match should have been a draw because Flair just collapsed after putting on the figure four and had his own shoulders down on the mat, so it should have been a double pin. Jarrett looked surprisingly great, though. In shape, limber, quick on his feet |

Wonder if Hogan tries to do this now, and if there is enough love for Hogan left to carry him to a "moment" like this

First of all, Ric Flair is all heart. Say all you will about needing money and blah, blah, blah. You must truly love the business to be 73 years old and want to still take bumps and wrestle, even if it potentially kills you.
Second, congratulations to Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett and Andrade. Last of all, that was scary. Especially by the end. Ric Flair left it all in the ring; and it took everything by the looks of it. I know, he is not the Ric Flair of 2008 or 2011 or even the 2013 fight in a non-match in-ring segment and people can say tarnished legacies but this was about a man who wanted one more go after giving the fans everything, for decades. We can give him this one go, no matter what. |

Well that match was the closest there's ever been to the movie The Wrestler coming to life.

Jay Lethal taking Flair off the turnbuckle and giving him a regular suplex instead was one of the smartest decisions I've ever seen in a wrestling match.
A Superplex legitimately might've killed him. |

Was going to come in here and ask if this is worth a watch, but the sad thing is…I don’t care.
I’m very happy this event just happening and now it being in the past. Surreal seeing pics of Taker front row at a wrestling event. |

Just seen flairs entrance, like how it took him about a minute to undo the robes tie to show the big gold belt, wtf was going on there?

I’ve seen clips and man Flair looked out of it. Clip of him hitting the ropes before the match started looked whatever but after that he looked every bit a near 80 year old man.
