It’s something I’ve kind of glossed over, but people seem pretty pissed at the audacity of Vince appearing on TV during this, knowing this was coming out. XL mentioned it, but a lot of fans are really feeling grossed out by that. It didn’t strike me right away, but it is a really sick thing to do.
Either denying you’ve done anything wrong or waving it around in everyone’s face is probably the wrong tone to take. |

I mentioned the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary. There are rumors that it is being pulled. It was allegedly already in post-production and millions sunk into it. There’s nothing they can do but watch that money go bye-bye. That’s another way Vince is hurting the bottom-line of WWE and its business partners.

I never believed the Shawn stuff, but when you think about how many people are actually gay and/or bisexual, it isn’t the most insane story in the world that a pretty boy wanting to climb to the top would bang his buff celebrity boss.

I read it’s been pulled about 3 minutes ago.

I mean, people assume that it’s a top guy. Vince could have had a type of given a nobody a spot based on it. Wouldn’t even have to be someone in the company either. They could have been getting money on the side or what have you. Could have been more about money or the sex than power or a push or whatever.
Ahmed Johnson was in the WWF from 1995-1997ish though. Just throwing that out there. |

He literally said it you guys. Vince screwed him.
Not surprised none of you side with the victim here. |

The Netflix relationship with WWE was a potentially huge one. Netflix has this giant scope and WWE having some sort of agreement with them to create content probably meant they got a first look if Netflix wanted to do something wrestling-related. If Netflix are just pissed enough to throw the baby out with the bath water, this could open up possibilities for AEW, OVW, MLW or whoever else. Could be industry-shifting.

Gonna go with Ultimate Warrior being the male lover. I think the timeline syncs up pretty well with his return run in the mid 90s. Plus the blowoff seems an awful lot like jaded lovers.

Not sure if you’re joking, but the timelines would actually work, right?

I find it weird Netflix would cancel them. They ran a documentary on the Tiger King ffs. And when shit hit the fan for him what did they do? They doubled down.
I could see them running this documentary and then doing another one detailing the fall of Vince McMahon to rake in the profits. |

Could they have the time, they could have probably edited the narrative and included the scandal stuff. But Vince would also probably need to agree to that. |

There’s no way there isn’t further pressure from sponsors to drop all associations with Vince McMahon. I can even see NBC Universal wanting to pull their deals unless he goes. He’s got to be done.

Well yeah, agreed — some of the things Warrior said really do imply that something was going on there, whether he actualized anything or not. Would be REALLY cruel for Vince to arrange that, put him in those stories, then fire him over their issues later in the year if there was any dirt an unstable Warrior could throw at him. A bit of a gamble. But so is doing it with anyone, honestly.

Weird to me that this is the WWE’s own doing. This is their self-cleaning mechanism. I guess someone from outside the company may have brought it to their attention, but this has all been because the WWE decided to look at Vince McMahon.

Oh boy. Here's an interesting (much more recent) name that I will now throw into the conversation for no good reason.
Lars Sullivan. |

Wait are you saying it's true that Lars Sullivan had to have sex and received hush puppy money to keep his lips sealed, and his asshole?

Is this thread about Vince McMahon having sex with Lars Sullivan, Ahmed Johnson and The Ulllllltimate Warrior? Why don't you think he made love with Shawn or Bret? He could've changed up his type sexually just as he did the main events. Did Diesel turn him down? Is that why he left for WCW? What about Razor Ramon and his hairy chest, did Vince pay him to keep quite about Vince's school boy crush on Razor? He mustve! He left for WCW.

Why do you think all the boys backed Bret in 97' despite breaking tradition by refusing to drop the belt on the way out? People have wondered for years why vince allowed hbk's behavior. The homosexual relationship was even joked about. |

I think as soon as this hit the news Vince McMahon knew his time running WWE was done... him showing up on TV and being in charge of creative before all the facts come out and are investigated is his final swan song and he knows it.
