Man Wardlow is something else huh? He's being booked in a way that I think is inspired by Goldberg in WCW, but his look and energy is much more like Roman Reigns. He's kind of a combination of both those guys in a way.
Very interested if Wardlow will become an actual PPV draw for AEW. At least someone on par with those that they use for PPV main events now. The way it stands, I can see Wardlow having PPV main events with guys like MJF, Omega, Danielson and Hangman. |

I am as much of a critic of Tony as anyone but I will commend on the solid arch with Wardlow so far.

I'm not a big fan of the pre-recorded promo's that AEW is reliant on. I'd save those for Rampage. It comes off cheap to me. Now with that said I really don't want the staged WWE backstage scenes they use constantly. I don't know, just wish they'd go back and copy the format of great Nitro's or something.

AEW has changed and that is totally normal, and in some ways AEW is better than ever right now. In some ways. But in others ways there is this new thing happening this "WWE star" thing... it's different.
Originally we had Cody and Jericho and that was big. Mox was even more crazy. But it's at the point now where we are doing WWE nostalgia on AEW with Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy... I think Danielson and Punk are doing a fine enough job of not resting on their laurels so to speak. But it could be a little better. If anything to be contrary to what I said, I am looking for the heel version of Punk to resurface. |

I still hate that the world title/main event program gets put in the first hour and never mentioned. But this was still a very fun show with good matches and segments throughout.
Jeff and Darby are fucking crazy. |

What a theme. Sounds like intro music to a late night talk show, which kinda works actually as he's self-described himself as Conan O'Brien being possessed by a demon. |

Loving HookHausen, despite Dan Hausen getting jobbed hard I’m keen to see them get a few wins as a team.
I’m over Adam Cole… please get that man off my TV. Was it just me or did Jungle Boy look a bit cocky heel? Jawing with the ref a little, really arrogant at points. Maybe the Christian turn is the JB turn. I would be intrigued. Darby… what the fuck mate… like cmon. He may have out Hardyied Jeff with one spot. |

Really good episode. Wonder if Kingston, Santana and Ortiz will join the BCC or if it’s just a loose alliance. Would assume we’ll get a 5 v 5 match at the ppv, not sure who steps out for the faces though. Maybe Yuta.
There’s def a turn coming in Jurassic Express. There’s def tension with Jungle Boy losing some big matches in the last few weeks and Christian seeming disappointed each time. Also seems like Luchasaurus is sticking round with Christian more so can see Christian turning and Luchasaurus joining him. Would just hope it isn’t dragged out for ages in a “whose side is he on?” Storyline that AEW seems to drag out. PPV taking shape a bit now anyway Hangman v Punk MJF v Wardlow Thunder Rosa v Serena Deeb JAS v BCC and Kingston/P&P Jurassic Express v Starks and Hobbs v Swerve and Lee Young Bucks v Hardys Owen Hart mens final (Adam Cole vs whoever the Joker is?) Owen Hart womens final (Baker vs Ruby maybe?) House of Black v Death Triangle Hookhausen v Nese and Sterling Prob Jade Cargill doing something Prob Samoa Joe v Jay Lethal I guess they’d still need something for FTR, Darby Allin, Andrade and a few others Don’t think it’s their strongest lineup but not too bad now it’s starting to take shape. Feel like it’s a big mistake to have so many of their top guys in stables though. Would rather be getting some cool matches like Mox v Black and Danielson v Andrade. Or wouldn’t have minded Punk v Black with Darby/Sting backing up Punk in the feud and then taking on the rest of House of Black |

Isn’t Yuta supposed to be heading off to Japan for a month or so for NJPW? That would solve the numbers issues.

Danhausen’s theme sounds like the Munsters theme, which means I love it. Very zany, very evil.

* Samoa Joe already doesn’t matter. Jay Lethal hasn’t ever mattered in that company. * Jade Cargill is their best champion, but that sounds like a forced match. * Danhausen is Donehausen. Thank fuckhausen. I don’t think anyone cares about Tony Nese. Absolute lower-card comedy shit. * House of Black fucking sucks. Death Triange fucking sucks. * Been there, done that with Britt Baker and basically whoever at this point. Their Women’s Division is dead. * Adam Cole fucking sucks. * The Bucks fucking suck. The Hardys are old and broken. * Luchasaurus fucking sucks. Lee fucking sucks. Swerve is mid-card as fuck. They did a three-way with Jurassic Express recently. The tag division is awful. * Jericho ruins everything he touches. No one gets more over working against him. This JAS thing is death. That’s cold as ice. * Rosa and Deeb feels like it should be for the TBS Title. They’ve done no favors for either woman because the division sucks. * MJF vs. Wardlow might be something. It’ll probably mean more when it happens in WWE in a few years. * Page and Punk is cold as ice. There’s literally one match that feels like it belongs on PPV. |

Gone back and forth on this but this might be the GREASTEST SHOW IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BUSINESS.
You had Cole (who is very over) and Dax outdoing Bret/Owen at Mania X fittingly in the Owen Tourney. French kiss! You had the hand shake between Danhausen and Hook which was > that when Macho and Hogan did it. French kiss. You had Keith Lee looking like an in-his-prime Ultimate Warrior. French kiss. MJF and Wardlow in the greatest contract signing segment since the last the last great one. French kiss. You finally had Jeff pay off that time Taker put him over in a losing effort with Jeff putting Darby over in a losing effort. French kiss. Shame the main didn’t live up to last week’s ROH Womens Championship match. You can’t win them all. |

What an under sell of “The Limitless One” Keith Lee’s transformation into an Ultimate Warrior-like ath-a-lete.

I agree with Noid, Lee looked slim and hopefully this leads to him being able to go a bit more in ring and show his potential.
I'm not as big a fan of the man as Noid is but its nice to see Noid getting over his AEW hate to praise the Limitless one. How good? |

The only thing limitless about Keith Lee is his weight. The self-professed intellectual. Fuck off. Dude’s not even smart enough to figure out how to work like a big man and keep his job in WWE.
He’s a perfect example of the WWE, specifically Triple H in NXT, going out of his way to mask the weaknesses of — something a lot of internet fans just flat-out deny they do. This is where the big divide between the main roster and “development” would come a lot of the time. It was Triple H’a prerogative to present indy scrubs as main eventers for a time, without much care to whether or not that would be translated to their 2 and 3 hr shows. But Keith Lee is really great. Just wait for him to show you as he approaches his 38th birthday. |

I’ll give AEW credit, they’ve always got sketching going on for the notable names on their roster. I won’t give them too much credit as a lot of those going one are with guys who should be doing more interesting things. I thought Keith Lee was gonna got the ground running after a perfect debut. Alas. Malakai is an even bigger fumble. So far at least. He should be building up a blood feud with the BCC. Abs blowing that angle off at the next ppv.
