You Tube vids
Some little tip here if you don't know.
We all like specific parts of vids from You Tube, especially when trying to get our point over. So to start an EMBEDDED vid from a certain point you need to add ' &start=X ' (where X is the seconds) to the end of the 2nd embedded link. For example, if you wanted to start a video 90 seconds in, you would use: <.object width="445" height="364"><.param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/watch?v=td9i6-oa4Kw#t=1m30s&hl=en_GB&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00&border=1"><.embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/td9i6-oa4Kw&hl=en_GB&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00&border=1&start=91"" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"> With the red text being where you would add the ' &start=X '. To do it on Youtube itself, simple add http;//www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIlkrWws4DY#t=0m59s |

Cos it's a bastard when people post a vid with the comment "around 7:15" and you're waiting for the fucker to come on and then move it to said time.
I guess, I find it easier to just post videos this way for specific time now if it be relevant. Also, it may be of use to someone else who wants to know. Like some of the above. |
