Got a sweet headset, but I'm having issues
When I left college, the radio station had these extra headsets no one was using so I
But I can't hear myself when I'm talking. During playback, the headphones work fine, but I get nothing in the headset live. Anyone know what I could do to fix this? If I need a driver, where could I look? I'm on PC (Dell Inspiron E1505) running Windows XP, if that'll help any. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Whats the connector? Is it one or two 3.5mm jacks?
You need the latter unless it's USB. If it is USB, you'll need to Google some drivers for it. If it's 2 3.5mm jacks, you might need to go to the Dell website and update your audio card drivers. I had this issue, turned out NVidia overwrote my sound card drivers with their own fucking driver. |

The microphone adapter is XLR to USB (so USB). Headphone is normal PC jack.

Since the headphone is the PC jack, do I need to update my drivers via the Dell site? They do work, just don't pick up the mic I guess.
