Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
I know there are Souls fans on here. Though, this isn't Souls. Definitely a lot of Souls in it's DNA. But yeah, this is a whole new monster.
Really liking it so far. Combat is so much faster than Souls. I keep hesitating because I'm so used to managing a stamina bar, and being more tactical. Overall, seems a bit more forgiving than Souls. It still pushes your shit in., though. |

Grabbing my copy after work today. But I'm not jumping into it for a while. Going through the backlog. And, I got the guide on pre-order from Amazon.

Will get around to this by the end of the year most likely probably. When you say faster combat than Souls, is it similar to Bloodborne or something different entirely?

It’s totally different. For starters there’s no stamina meter. Combat has more emphasis on raw skill and parrying attacks than the more tactical souls style. Movement in general feels faster.
There’s also a whole stealth element. You can sneak up and insta kill regular enemies in one shot. |

Yeah. It's pretty much Tenchu with the stealth and grappling hook. But, they put it in a blender, tossed in some Dark Souls, added a splash of Bloodborne, a bit of streamline, and this is what came out. Sekiro.
