Resizing / Sending .MOV files
I know this is probably simple as shit - but I have no idea for some reason.
My brother has a .MOV file on his computer that is 11 MB. He is trying to send it via AOL to his friend - however, it keeps taking a long while and then timing out. Is there some way to resize it or something, or change format, that will speed up sending it? If so, where can I get a good, safe, free, program to do so with? Any help is muy caliente - or something to that effect. Quote:

Seriously though, you could compress it until the cows come home, but it won't make it watchable as an end product most likely.
Best idea would be to send it via a method that doesn't involve AOL/email. Tell them to download Chrome (With the previous description, I'm assuming this person has an old PC with an old Windows on it) and upload it to http://www.mediafire.com and send the link to his friend. Unless they're on dial-up. Then tell them to snail-mail it across 10 floppy discs. |
