Hi. I watched this show, but started 30 minutes late, so I wasn't here discussing in this highly active thread.
Anyways, this was a great show. |

This 5 on 5 tag team survivor series match..... are there even 5 teams each on SD/RAW?
SD: Usos New Day Sanity Primo and Epico? ??? RAW: B-Team Roode & Gable Ascension Revival ??? |

Oh yeah, Gallows/Anderson on SD. So maybe they have 5 if Primo and Epico are actually still around and not injured.

I have zero interest in the tag team elimination match. I am assuming that is gonna be on the preshow with a cruiserweight match.

I heard the "I'll play with you, Becky" line, and now I have the weirdest boner.

With SmackDown! having now aired, some congratulations are in order for one AJ Styles, who will see the 365th day, the 1 calendar year mark, of his WWE Championship reign occur tomorrow(Nov. 7, 2018).
That now means a club that has had only 7 men in it will become 8. For the record, the numbers below for all the 1+ year title reigns. 1. Bruno Sammartino(twice)-May 17, 1963-Jan. 18, 1971(Reign 1) & Dec. 10, 1973-Apr. 30, 1977(Reign 2) 2. Pedro Morales-Feb. 8, 1971-Dec. 1, 1973 3. Bob Backlund(Reign 1)-Feb. 20, 1978-Dec. 26, 1983(to WWE)/Dec. 17, 1979-Dec. 26, 1983(actual) 4. Hulk Hogan(Reign 1)-Jan. 23, 1984-Feb. 5, 1988 5. 'Macho Man' Randy Savage(Reign 1)-Mar. 27, 1988-Apr. 2, 1989 6. John Cena(Reign 3)-Sept. 17, 2006-Oct. 2, 2007 7. CM Punk(Reign 2)-Nov. 20, 2011-Jan. 27, 2013 8. AJ Styles(Reign 2)-Nov. 7, 2017-present(as of Nov. 7, 2018) To me, for a guy who was with Impact Wrestling(as TNA) 5 years ago, AJ has come a really long way to now, and to me, has more than earned this place in history for himself. To be forever called an ELITE WWE Champion, according to the terms of being champ for 365/366 days, and to keep himself performing at this high level, is something that I'm happy for him to have gotten here. Congrats again to AJ. =) |

I recorded SmackDown overnight but Sky decided to show a different programme for the first hour instead of SmackDown, so a program called "Sporting Legends" or something to that effect got recorded instead and then half of SmackDown.
So I only saw the first hour of SmackDown up to the beginning of the Mysterio/Almas match but I do now know more about Diego Maradona and some basketball player from the 70's. |

I hate the brand vs. brand stuff. I mean, it is cute with Ronda and Becky and Brock and AJ, but the stupid fake drama and the heels teaming up with babyfaces loses me.

I'm really not that much of a fan of it myself.
The whole "brand vs brand" thing just seems really forced as it's never spoken about from December to October but as soon as November hits, suddenly everyone from Raw and SmackDown is incredibly proud to be a member of that brand and they hate the other brand with a passion. Then, like you said Noid, we have faces and heels teaming up because of it and pretty much acting like the past year has meant nothing when it comes to their rivalries and that they've all been friends forever. It just doesn't make much sense and it's not really interesting at all. If this "brand vs brand" thing was a constant throughout the year like it used to be when Bischoff and Stephanie were GM's, then Survivor Series would all make sense to a degree and even more so if one brand took the role of the face brand and the other, the heel brand. Right now, it's all kinda muddy as you've got Corbin as the heel in charge of Raw and Paige as the face in charge of SmackDown but that's as close as you get to having the "face vs heel" aspect leading up to and at Survivor Series, as throughout both shows the rosters cut promos on the other roster as if they are the face roster and the other roster are the heel roster, so you're kinda left wondering "who's the bad guys and who's the good guys?". |

The brand vs brand stuff is like the NBA All-Star game.
