The Rock gives Harvey Wippleman a gift.
This is amazing! I love The Rock. I wish I was in this position to do something like this for someone.
It dont matter who did what to who at this point. The fact is, we went to war. And now there aint no going back. It's what war is you know? Once you're in it, you're in it. If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie, but we gotta fight! |

That was really nice to see. I’ve only heard people say nice things about Bruno/Harvey. Touching moment for sure.

He's a southern boy who probably likes where he lives. I highly doubt Bruno is making minimum wage

Jaime Noble lived in a trailer park during his run as one Rollins' security guards. Some people just prefer it.
My grandmother moved into a mobile home park for seniors after my grandpa passed. It's actually really nice both in the park and her house. |

Lmao it already is in San Diego. You can buy one already parked for around that much. Or you can buy one brand new for like 50k, but after taxes, cost to ship/relocate to a park etc you're still looking at close to 6 figures

My father-in-law lives in a trailer that currently nicer (and cost much more) than my house.... Some of the higher-end ones are ridiculous....
And Vince isn't to blame in Harvey doesn't know how to save.... |

I thought that was the whole point of AEW, that Vince is such a bastard for not taking care of his wrestlers. This place needs to make up it's mind. |

your presumption is full of a thousand holes.
firstly you assume he wasnt paid enough to not live in trailer park. you rule out the fact he could be terrible with money. his end result in no way reflects his income. conversely you rule out that he may be great with money. a guy living on the road 250+ days a year buying a house may not he the best use of his income. why buy somethin so expensive that you never use? the same is true for vehicles. you're going to be using rentals 90% of the time. having some nice truck sitting at a house you never go to may just not be how he choses to spend his money. and most importantly you ignore the most pressing issue: whippleman has been with the company for decades working for a wage he agreed to. he's not entitled to anything more than that. you default your assumptions to some imaginary slight thats been made against him based off your preconceptions that are void of any tangible truth. this issue exists in your head. you are raging against a boogyman of your own making. |

and the whole point of aew isnt strictly money most of it is ego. cody wanted a push. moxley wanted creative freedom. the bucks wanted a job. jericho wanted to be treated like a main event talent. if they can milk a money mark while theyre at it why not.

oh and with whippleman how much should a ghopher get paid? 100k/a? you can be with a company 100 years but if youre the janitor youre going to earn a janitors wages.

He wasn't just a gopher though. Its cool to call Vince an asshole when he paid Ambrose $500 for his last houseshow, but Harvey never went on the podcast circuit to cry about it, so let's not call foul on Vince for that one? |

I'll use myself as an example. I make really good money and could easily afford to buy my own house/nicer car but I enjoy living in the duplex we rent because our rent is dirt cheap, I like our place and I like the area we live in. People can look at what I pay in rent/that I rent a duplex and assume that I make barely above minimum wage, which isn't the case.

He could just as easily afford a F250 or F350.

im not knocking him at all to be clear. just the notion that everyone who's ever been on tv for even a short period of time deserves a enough wages to retire in the Bahamas is nonsensical

Also I dunno when the last time you have been in a trailer is but there are some REALLY nice trailers these days. Look more like a house and have huge and very nice interiors. Friend of ours just got one that is like 5 br 2.5 bath and 2500+ sq ft. hardwood floors and marble and everything stainless steel and shit. It's niiiiiiiceee. I consider selling my house and getting a trailer all the time and would have been done it if I wasn't sitting on pretty prime real estate location wise. |
