Yeah he got a contract extension/renewal before the cup but don't remember if he gained more guaranteed money or just added years at his current salary rate.

I know before the extension he was making around 1.5 to 2 times more than Lippi (#2 paid coach in the world).

No, it was a clause removal that would have let either party end the contract after the end of the World Cup. The FA were worried about an approach from Inter Milan.

Question about the Japan-Paraguay game

How the hell does Paraguay win when the score ends up a 0-0 tie? So they flip a damn coin or something?


Edit: Saw the end of the game.

They should add a frickin point to the score to keep people who don't follow soccer from getting confused though.

They usually add a small p here beside the score to denote a penalty shoot-out winner.

Capello shouldn't be sacked, it would be yet another acquiescence to a spoilt bunch of dickhead players.
