Does PC get those parts, or will that be like a Add-On DLC or something that they miss out on?

The NJPW content will be paid DLC for PC. No price yet but they've stated before that they would try to keep the price as low as possible.
Most people have been thinking 15-20. Given the amount of content we've seen, I wouldn't be upset if it was a little more. We're getting a fuckton of new edit parts and moves here. |

Hoping that the fourth dlc is roh, cmll or a combination of both. Dragon Lee being in the Jr dlc gives me hope for the latter, at least.
Been going back and forth on whether I want to get the ps4 version. On one hand, I want to support the devs, and I have 28-31 off so I'll be able to create and upload a bunch of wwe edits in that time. On the other hand my hard drive fried so I'm buying a new laptop in couple weeks and will have to remake all my rosters on PC, so I kind of don't want the extra work on ps4. If I do get the ps4 version and go on an edit making marathon, I'll probably stream it. Also the director recently tweeted that after listening to feedback from early access they are including an unlock code for all the moves hidden behind mission mode, so I d be able to get started right away. |

Beretta, YOH, SHO, and Yujiro are in the junior DLC as well. That'll get just about everyone in there except for the ROH guys.

Yeah, the full list isn't out yet. With Yujiro being confirmed, that could mean other heavyweights that aren't included in the initial release, like Henare, Jay White, and Finlay.

Still undecided on if I'm going with PC or PS4. But with the NJPW DLC coming out, I kinda wanna do a clean start for my game since I have sooooooo many edits there are better versions of than when I initially downloaded. Is there any easy way to just delete everyone in one go or do you have to actually do it one by one?

Not in game, but I believe there is a mass deletion mod.
At this point, if you have a choice, you should go PC. There are so many awesome mods that the PS4 version looks gimped in comparison. |

Yeah I was kinda leaning towards PC since I need to get a new one soon anyway. Mine is about 6 years old and I've been having issues. It runs Fire Pro perfectly fine though, so as long as I back my shit up I can transfer it all to the new PC if/when I get it.

Tested out some new mods, including Trons and custom edit parts and ended up with a pretty nice match, so figured I'd post the recording.

Decided I'm definitely going to carry on with PC mostly due to the insane amount of mods available, but I'll definitely be supporting further by getting the official New Japan DLC and the other packs.

Shittttttttttttttttttt
Really can't be arsed to look through which of my edits have custom parts/moves so I might just nuke my whole roster and stick with the NJPW DLC exclusively until the mod suite is updated. Not a bad time to do it anyway, most of my edits (current WWE, WCW 1998) came in packs I can re-download with minimal effort. Plus the roster organization tool is an amazing timesaver. |

You don't have to search manually. If you have the More Match Options you can go to the testing tab and it will tell you which of your edits have custom parts and moves.

On top of that, Carlzilla has said that while he would have been able to update the mod suite a couple weeks into classes, his workload will be too high a couple months in. So people will have to choose between the mod suite or new content for the foreseeable future.
If you choose mod suite you will have to download any workshop edits you want now because you'll have to play it in offline mode after the content releases. Last edited by Fignuts; 08-22-2018 at 06:28 PM. |

My advice would be to stick with the modded version and wait for however long it takes Carl to update the suite.
I'm chomping at the bits to try out the new parts and story mode, and yet even I'll tell you that those new features don't add remotely as much to the game as the mod suite. |

Also not a good look for them that the PS4 version is still getting the NJPW stuff at launch since it makes it look like they did this on purpose in order to squeeze out more PS4 sales. |

Prioritizing the ps4 version is the right call. Its good business and if the pc audience wants future fire pro ganes theyll skip being infants and accept that making money is the whole point of this.

Not really since its already come at the cost of other stuff being delayed. From what I've read about this situation, seems Spike is doing this to mainly to cater to the Japanese market since the PS4 is stronger there than PC for game sales.
Longevity, PC is going to be much stronger than the PS4 in terms of community and sales for this game so the last thing Spike needs is to keep antagonizing them with broken promises. |

Where's this coming from? Were you looking at reactions on steam forums or something? Cause that's like the equivalent of gamefaqs and anything but infantile reactions is rare.

Also, definitely not going to be any more Fire Pro games after this. At least not for a very long time. Sales in Japan aren't any where near where they need to be right now to offer continued support, and it's getting roasted in reviews due to save corruption, laggy menus, and other bugs.
Controversial price point will probably hurt the game's sales in the states, since it's not as well known of a franchise over here. |

From what I've seen, there are people who feel better attention should have been paid to the PCversion, but .no one is calling for spike's head.
Again, this news hasn't bothered me much, but there is justification to be upset. Of course you want to prioritize the platform that will make you the most money. That's why back in January, when they announced that going forward they would be putting the majority of their efforts towards the PS4 version, everyone on PC was supportive. Because the goal was for the game to be as successful as possible so that they could offer continued support for all platforms. But at the end of the day, you have to handle your shit. And delaying content a week before release because you prioritized a platform at the expense of another is not handling your shit. |

Absolutely tremendous new mod available. One of, if not the biggest flaw of the game is the atrocious edit mode UI. If you want to alter an edit, copy an edit, or delete an edit, it's not like Returns where the edits are sorted into the groups you've put them in. It's just one big list of all your edits, and you've got to find the one you're looking for. Considering the workshop filled up with over 10,000 edits the first week, it should have been addressed a long time ago. It hasn't.
New mod is a search bar which allows you to immediately find the edit you want and load it in the game. Even if it's an edit you've downloaded from the workshop, which is huge. When I port edits to PS4 next week, this mod is going to save me soooooooooo much time. #pcmasterrace |

Latest update adds the Torture Texas Cloverleaf (Tanahashi) and Cross arm suplex to Kamigoe (Ibushi)
I remember seeing Ibushi perform the latter during the G-1 and thinking "that needs to be in Firepro." Fucking awesome. |

Seems Spike is hinting at another delay occurring with their plans for upcoming content and like last time, also hinted their focus on the PS4 version is to blame.
They completely underestimated how much trouble and hassle working on the PS4 version was going to cause considering how small they are as a studio.

Its a total shit show at the moment. This combined with the price point will kill this series for good. As much as the NJPW deal may have generated interest, the game may have been better off without it.

NJPW DLC is out. That was random.
If you have mods, unpatch them before you update. If you are using custom moves or edit parts however, unpatching alone won't be enough, as they are tied to your save. You will have to remove them from any edit that uses them, and then unpatch the mods. Personally, I'm just gonna wait for Carl to update the suite. Should have a better idea how much of the mods the update funks up and how long it will take him to fix everything within the week. |
