Cleanup in my pants.
I should of been warned. Also Way to go Cap, for somewhat matching Thano's Strength. But it's going to be a sad day when Cap does perish. Tears will fall from the Heavens. |

I watched that trailer four times now. The size and scope of this film is beyond words. This film is going to break all kinds of box office records, awards ceremonies etc. Absolutely amazing what Marvel have pulled off here.

Right, the film's out, so fuck anyone whinging about spoilers!
This film is fucking INCREDIBLE!!! Just literally one huge-ass fight scene! I loved it! Honestly the film just flew by! Thanos is fucking brilliant and the CGI on him I thought was outstanding. Over the years I definitely see him being seen as one of the all-time great movie villains. The stakes throughout this felt so big and so real. Loved the fight between Stark and co. and Thanos. Great swerve at the end, definitely made things more interesting. Really, really hope the Avengers film next year somehow ties in with EVERYTHING! All the TV shows, all the films, possibly some kind of X-Men or Fantastic Four cameo. It's literally been built up that the next film could potentially just be everything vs. Thanos. I know it won't happen but I can dream!Holy fuck! I been a Marvel fan since 1992... fucking speechless right now. |

Damn, can't believe they killed off Loki.
Also, damn @ Renner and Rudd not being in this. |

Loved it.
I think the most impressive thing is how it managed to seamlessly blend all the different tones of the various Marvel flicks the last decade. And Thanos. Thanos is a baaaaaaad dude. |

Saw it..... it was great. Started off with a bang and remained very intense throughout the whole movie.....
Thanos had a lot more depth than I was expecting..... he also looked great. Far from the "video game CGI" in Justice League. |

Prob won't get to see this till Monday but I've read the spoilers and it sounds awesome. I'm loving the seemingly concrete and dire consequences. It was my one complaint in Civil War.

I think Thanos is arguably the lead character of the entire movie. It's really his story. I mean what he wants to do is f***ed up but you also see his reasoning for it.

That spoiler is really neat. Interesting to hear Thanos is the main villain. Interesting approach really.

Really can’t wrap my head around why you’d purposely “spoil” it for yourself?

Now I feel bad posting that spoiler...... I mean, they obviously don't mind spoiling the movie for themselves, but I kind of mind about spoiling it for them.

Because knowing what's going to happen doesn't ruin things for me. I knew damn near scene for scene what was gonna happen in Batman Begins and I still loved it.
I've read spoilers on quite a few movies. It doesn't effect the enjoyment of the film for me at all. Sometimes it gets my hopes up. I read spoilers for bvs and thought it could be really good. Was grossly disappointing. |

It's all about execution for me. Some movies I won't spoil for myself. I was way too invested in the dark knight trilogy to spoil the 3rd one. Especially with that ending. But it's a rare occurrence.

Amazing film. Not the "best" of the MCU films I guess in technical terms but so so so much fun. Everything just tying in together and so many characters was great. Balanced the screen time well for so many characters. Anyone who didn't have too much to do/say (e.g. cap) will obviously get more time in Avengers 4. I understand why they can't and "get it" but really wish they could've folded in a scene with the Netflix shows characters.
Wish Hawkeye was there. |

Thanos is great. Really did a good job with him. A movie like this will only go as far as the antagonist can take it, and Thanos does it. So much more than just "I want to rule the universe." You would give serious thought to joining his cause if he'd let you.

I do, but I'm a big DC guy. So a lot of my reaction was also "damn. How is DC ever supposed to top this?"
And "damn. Here comes Thor, Last Son of Asgard, and he's kicking ass. I want to see Superman do this one day." |
