First issue of Tom Taylor on Nightwing is really, really good. Would definitely recommend.

Haven't watched Batwoman since the premiere of the second season.... but seeing now that they have apparently gone and recast Kate Kane anyways.

If you were going to recast her... why the F awkwardly cut off your storylines to introduce a new character/Batwoman? Unless this is a fake out and it isn't actually Kate Kane, I don't know... like I said haven't been watching so I don't know what is going on

But now apparently they have recast the old one to appear in the show (but not take back over as Batwoman)

Bought my son the entire Deadpool comic collection. It's in one massive book. Found a local collectors shop about a mile down the road.


Bought him a few stand-alone comics for his bday last week and he returned to get some more stuff with his own money.


Add that to a certified Ryan Reynolds autographed pic of Deadpool and he's off to a good start.

Honestly I think the whole Arrowverse is about to implode. They're already losing Black Lightning and Supergirl and I haven't heard anything else on the docket to replace them. Might be time to just let it all go and figure something else out.

Superman and Lois is around, but it almost feels like it is separate because of the production style and also because why the F wouldn't Supergirl call Superman to help save the world from Lex Luthor if he exists on the same planet.

DCWverse has been dying a slow death for some time. its been hemorrhaging viewers since it got woke, several additions have failed to find an audience and with its flaggship now past tense it doesnt have a strong lead in to build a base for new would-be shows.

I think he is maybe referring to a greater number of episodes that are "preachy" on some sort of social issue instead of just being the action/sci-fi series... Supergirl probably the worst offender for it

yeah around arrow season 5 entire episodes would be about *insert political talking point* instead of being what it had been: a show about superheros. they lost me when arrow and supergirl both banned guns. one for an entire city by mayoral edict despite the protagonist being a vigilante who went into the trade because the police were incapable of protecting people and the other banned them for a top secret military agency that specifically fought world ending level allien threats.


the desire to push the showrunners political beliefs trumped the shows internal truth.


but i could make a 1000 word post just listing the activism writing the DCWverse shows go into around that time and onward.
