New Command & Conquer shown off, very few details other than a cringeworthy scripted eSports segment that EA put on stage where someone actually said audibly "Gee Gee".

Oh yeah, with AOE2HD going Steamworks, it just seems that any MS published games in the future will all go down this route.

Going to have to go through my STeam backlog, see what uses GFWL and clear them out first, just in case patches aren't forthcoming.

I don't think there is, but I've never really cared much. I tend to avoid games that require a second DRM platform. It's actually kind of dumb enough that people accept Steam....But that's another story.

They should just charge 15 a month without making us pay 60 for the game itself. Most people are done with an online RPG within a month or two so we'd save 30 bucks. I really hope Guild Wars 2's model becomes the standard though.

TESO will almost certainly go F2P eventually, and that's not a bad thing. It's just the way the market works.

Quick question. I'm going to be buying the transfer cable for my 360, today and one of the cables comes with software and another one doesn't. Do I need the software or is that for someone who isn't hooked to the internet?

Hopefully DICE uses the "Levelution" stuff they just revealed in battlefront. Could imagine a Star Destroyer crashing onto the map like the ship in the recent Battlefield 4 vid.

Is Crysis 2 Single Player any good?

Since I've got the key for the PC version and I play on using a controller anyway, I have no interest in competitive multiplayer.

Buuuuut it is essentially a free game as I got it as part of the Origin Bundle I was already buying for other titles.

Battlefield 4 has campaign mode. Mirror's Edge will certainly have its story mode. Story modes were added into the Need for Speed series at EA's desire.

The message is that there will no longer be strictly single player games and everything will have online functions of some sort added - which would really seem no different than the last few years of EA's offerings.
