If you are asking is the show worth buying, fuck yeah it was.
Best crowd in the history of the UFC. Bisping looked awesome. GSP is definately on another level of athlete. Nate Quarry has a personality! Good fights all round minus that fucking idiot Kalib Starnes. He is fucked now. I can't believe he was shouting cusses at people after saying they should be fighting. No motherfucker, YOU should be fighting. Little cunt. And that other fucking idiot Travis Lutter has to be the single most unprofessional fighter in the company history. Blows a title shot when he can't make weight and then shows up for this fight and can't even go 2 rounds? Wanker. |

So, whats on the cards for GSP now? Suppose he'll fight Fitch next.
Then a re-match against Serra? another bout against Hughes or a move up in weight? |

thats not going to happen for a long time i think because they like to make their champs look godly which is why dana wouldnt let anderson fight roy jones. i say each guy has to beat two more people before theres noone left and they have to fight. AND dont forget about BJ Penn now. Once he beats Sherk I could see him coming up to 170 and trying to avenge his loss against GSP

Anderson Silva v GSP! Yeah, that'd be worth watching.
Suppose seeing as they've cleaned up in their respective divisions its a very plausible, and financially lucrative option for the UFC. |

Any of these guys could get a shot, which is why I think GSP moving up would be stupid..
Diego Sanchez Karo Parysian Mike Swick Josh Koscheck John Fitch I'd say Thiago Alves should get the next shot..

I'd actually like him to move up and fight Serra first (he beat him at UFC 39), leading up to a Penn/GSP rematch or Serra/GSP rubber match.. |

I really think that GSP will fight fitch next and Alves needs to beat Serra before he gets his. After GSP fights Serra or Alves I think that would be when the UFC starts to look at him fighting a moving up BJ or moving up to fight Silva. |

Sanchez ain't getting no title shot anytime soon. Two big loses on his record he needs to do something about first. Parysian had his chance to fight Jon Fitch to get a title shot, pussied out and wanted "easier competition" first and lost so he is fucked. Swick looked horrible in his first fight at 170lbs and will need at least 2 more wins before he stands any chance. He is fighting Marcus Davis in London next and I'd give Davis a shot before Swick right now. Koscheck needs a big win too after being humbled by GSP. Fitch is already in line for the next title shot and I personally think he really needs to up his game because GSP will tear him apart better than he did Koscheck. Thiago Alves is meant to be getting the next shot after Fitch. Personally I'd consider the third Serra fight first just to make sure you get another money fight out of him before he fights Matt Hughes. If he fights Hughes first and loses, it's gonna be real hard to book the third title fight.

GSP ain't fighting Silva and BJ Penn ain't moving up in weight. BJ reckons he would only be 160lbs at welterweight anyway and Dana White doesn't want him in that division.
In other UFC news..... Chuck Liddell is apparently out of the Rashad Evans fight with an injury. None of the big sites have confirmed this yet. It's also known Liddell wasn't keen on fighting in London. Kalib Starnes has been FIRED~! |

Apparently Starnes is saying he fought like a cunt in protest to the UFC for not covering his medical bills and it being the last fight on his shitty deal. What a fucking idiot!!! Even if this is all true (and I doubt it), way to fucking undervalue yourself on one of the biggest PPV shows of all time in your own fucking backyard. Fucking idot! I can't stress this enough. This man should NEVER be paid to fight again.
Correction - He should never be paid to be on a fight show again. Had to correct myself since he just got paid to run like a motherfucker for 15 minutes in a cage. |

basically thats why there wont be any champion vs champion fights in the near future. Like I said before, Dana wants all the best guys and to have them look as good as they can. Plus with the way that they spread out fights now (4-9 months from each title fight almost), a person with two belts would be holding one belt hostage while the other was being contested. And if you havnt figured out why the big names of the ufc fight only once maybe twice a year is because they dont want to shell out the money to those people that often. Liddell makes over 500K just for fights and that goes up with every fight on his contract and when he wants to resign another contract hes going to want that to go up. Like every other fighter out there. The leverage for an incredible amout of money upon renegotiations of a contract would be unbelievable for a competitor that held two belts or beat the champions of another weight class. THATS why it wont happen until UFC realizes that they keep fucking up and losing/chasing away good fighters to other organizations and they dont have any other way to make a good fight/ card. You will know the UFC is in real trouble when these fights start happening.

I wouldn't mind if they were close in weight but Anderson Silva will go into the Octagon outweighing Georges St Pierre by a minimum of 20lbs. Possibly as much as 30lbs. This would be insane. Chuck Liddell fighting at heavyweight against a guy no bigger than 235lbs I could live with but that's about it.
