My band covers Children of Bodom. [UPDATED]
[UPDATE]
Civil Atrophy - Downfall [Children of Bodom cover]. The keyboardist and I recorded a "studio" version of it. I did the guitars and vocals. He did the keys and bass. The drums are midi. [/UPDATE] ---- Civil Atrophy - Downfall [Children of Bodom cover]. We recorded this on a shitty tape recorder in the middle of the room yesterday at practice. This is the second time we ever played the song together, so the other guitarist doesn't play all of his parts correctly [and he doesn't play the rhythm under my solo at all]. The quality is shitty intentionally for black metal awesomeness [this sentence is a lie]. I do all vocals and most lead guitar [the other guitarist does the first solo]. Our keyboardist is awesome, though. Be gentle. Last edited by asphyXy; 06-01-2004 at 06:48 PM. |

I love the drums + keyboard in the middle.
You need to make some merch, I will spread the word of your band. |

We've only practiced with our current drummer twice. We'll need a few months before we can get shows. We'll get merchandise then.

I think I need a job so I can get money to be able to purchase a method of creating more distortion, sustain, and reverb.
Right now, I have to pay for college, a new computer, a car... |

A Crate half stack from the 80s and a Jackson Performer guitar. I have a processor, but that's currently my line in to my computer.

PS - When you donate to Paypal, it takes 7¢ of every dollar. Donating 1¢ does nothing.

Although the studio version is much cleaner and constructed better, I like the live one more. I think because as a live recording, the presence of a full band allows everything to come together much smother. A live drummer helps perhaps? Either way, you guys rule. I will donate some when I get my paycheck on Friday

Also, on Friday I may be purchasing a brand spanking new computer, since my current one is way too fucked up to record and produce music.. and me and my guitar buddy wanna get some tracks started.

My hard drive is currently full [80 gig hard drive, nearly 60 of it is music]. Comp USA has a Memorial Day sale going on this week.. $199 for a 250 gig hard drive with a $70 mail in rebate.
250 gigs for $120 = Great deal. I'll be recording a lot more soon. |
