123found
My mate's PC got hijacked by 123found, changing his homepage and disabling his Internet Options menu, he's tried Norton and Spybot, but it hasn't found anything.
Anyone know how to remove it? |

It may sound obvious, but try add/remove programs. Surprisingly, a few of these option bars/obvious spyware apps come with uninstallers
If not however, go to ad-aware SE or spybot options and choose to run in start-up and it may pick it up if it gets loaded into memory on the PC start-up. If all else fails, tell him to get this: http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html A program called hijack this. Run it after everything else has started up and post the log here, I'll see if there is anything recognised in there. It's like a manual spyware tracker and is a PAIN IN THE ARSE but if all else fails |

Um, how do I go about obtaining a log of my list items? I've downloaded that Hijack This program now, so give me some steps and I'll greatly appreciate it.
