And lmfao at this being moved... It's cool the Sports Forum isn't all anal about threads but it could've stayed in casual.. This thread is both "non-wrestling" and "carefree".. So, the moving kinda negates the cool/laid back attitude... |

See if Brady was in the Superbowl, that last drive would have been a lot different
Who would YOU rather have on the last key drive of the game? Tom "I lead my team to 2 scoring drives to win 2 Superbowls" Brady or Payton "I get picked off by the same guy 3 times in one game" Manning |

Brady can "actaully" score too though
Brady just decides to put up his best numbers of the season when it matters the most..In the Superbowl |

I stop hated on Brady after what happen at the SB. You're right Brady doesn't light it up like other QBs. In recent years though with the except of Kurt Warner back in 1999, the following QBs don't have to light it up for the team to win the Super Bowl.
Trent Dilfer...Trent who? Tom Brady. Brad Johnson. Tom Brady. The thing in common is, they aren't 'big offense" guys. They do enough to get the team over the hump. Brady is clutch, I can't hate on him anymore. He makes the play inorder for his team get a FG to win the game when he has too. |

Dilfer and Johnson had amazing defenses though just like Brady. Peyton Manning has NO defense. Which is why I would want Manning in because he can put points on the board and not rely on the defense. That's why I would want Manning in for the majority of the game, then have Brady come in late if it's close get into FG range.

The give and take of the NFL.
I hear what your saying, of course we could always flip that. The Pats where suppose to suck majorly with all the injuries on D and got it done. So does that come down to simply stepping it up? Coaching? Manning is very good, he puts up awesome number. Amen to that Just a side note, the colts might have made it to the SB this year, but I thought they quit on running the football way too early against the Pats. |
