How far is your monitor from your face?
Also how big is ur monitor.
Been keeping it pushed all the way back to my desk (24 inch screen), but always was slouching over to get closer, so I just moved it like "all up in my face." It is like about two feet away I guess right now. Just wondering if this is "the norm" or if it is possibly "unhealthy"? |

Size "is" 19". I sit "about" 2' away on "average."
The recommended viewing range that I've found is 20 to 40 inches. Last edited by Vietnamese Crippler; 11-03-2009 at 07:21 AM. |

15 but I'm like probably a little less than 2 feet. The thing is I sit close to the desk because I don't want to pull out the keyboard tray so I'm closer to the monitor than I probably should be. Looking to get a 20 inch so when I lay down to watch movies I can see them better.

22" widescreen. I sit about 2' from it I would say. Sometimes closer, sometimes farther.

I have a 22" widescreen for my main screen in front of me and a 17" on the little step this desk has (hard to explain). Dual screens fucking rock, actually considering setting up a third (which would make four if I get my laptop up and running with synergy).
Probably like two feet away from the main and a bit more from the secondary. |

I'm using a 17" monitor and I'm no more than 2' away and it's more than adequate.

i lost my glasses at bonnaroo so i have to sit mad close and people always mention it, like way less than a foot on average unless i'm watching a movie, then about two feet, but if i'm reading it's like 8 inches although i guess i can see from like a fooot and a half away.
Right now I'm conciousensasly trying to be further |

Gotta really small screen. Probably a foot away from it, naturally.
