If TNA really needed to, I think this would deliver.

It's obvious Hogan's chasing a payday, and I'm pretty sure their divorce was a sham to protect their assets so why not have Linda debut and pick some young stud (Kennedy, Wolfe, or maybe a black stud like Orlando Jordan (think of the implications ha!)) to manage/ escort for awhile. She could say something like since she made Hulk she can make another star or something like that.... Do a buildup with her smacking Brook and her boy toy stomping out Nick and taunting Hulk about how he can't go anymore in the bed or ring so she had to get younger. Eventually this leads to Hulk stepping into the ring one more time for a true retirement match.

Now before you kill me, I know as fans we wouldn't give a shit, and some of you may have vomited after reading this, but the readers of the gossip magazines, E!, TMZ, and all their VH1 fans would at least tune in out of curiosity and may even keep tuning in to see how it ends.... after all they did get big viewers for their reality show and that shit was just as scripted as wrestling.

Their divorce wasn't a sham.

Jarrett is fucking Kurt Angle's ex-wife shortly after the death of his own wife.

I don't think the gossip mags will report a kayfabe storyline.

Jeff Jarrett isn't Hulk Hogan either. Hogan had a reality show on VH1 plus they covered the hell out of his divorce.

That would be pretty awesome. I would think it could be a big hit for TNA.

Agreed, I mean, in terms of being a media attention-getter, I doubt it. But it could draw ratings from fans switching the channel. A storyline like that, that has a realisitic feel and is actually kept from getting too ridiculous, could work.

A lot of work would have to be done for this to go down. Hulk, Linda and the kids would have to be more than comfortable with something like this. Money speaks volumes, but would TNA be willing to shell out enough dollar signs at all parties to get this to work?

Not to mention, if it were going to be a true retirement type match, then you would definately be giving the rub to a new up and comer in trying to cement their TNA legacy. The only guy I can see this working with is Desmond Wolf. but is he good enough to carry Hogan to a decent match at this stage of Hogan's career?

If it's written well I'd personally tape the show at the very least. The abgle would be there to draw in the casual fans and create new ones. So, like most things in WWE and TNA, it's not actually garnered towards the majority of us on the board.

I'd almost guarentee that it would draw decently for TNA if they could do it right.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone stomp the fuck out of Nick Hogan. It could be used to get some media attention, and get someone over as a HUGE face. Yeah, they'll probably try to make Nick Hogan Hulk's sympathetic son, but the crowd will pop him getting stomped and you know it.

The Linda stuff is pretty shitty. Brooke could maybe get involved in a storyline or two. I mean, love or hate the Hogan name, it's powerful enough to get that talentless girl a television show. Stick her with some up-and-comer and make them a "power couple" on TNA.

Thanks for understanding dude. Apparently I've gotta spread more rep around before I can give you that positive back. Again, sorry about that.
