Michael McGuillicuty is just stupid. The first thing I thought (after initially having my intelligence insulted) was "Is he related to Beulah?" The thing is, they didn't even need to call him "Joe Hennig." They could have named him "Joe Perfect" or something. Not the best name, but I could imagine the promos: "Mr. Perfect was my father's name. I am Joe Perfect."

The best thing this "Mike McGuillicuty" thing can lead to, is a revelation that Joe used a fake name because he is afraid of being in his father's shadow. But that didn't need to be done. Using the "Perfect" or Hennig name would have allowed "Mike" to cut promos like this:

I remember being a younger man and having people come up to me saying "Your father is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time." I remember people coming up to me and telling me that my father was the greatest man to have never won the WWE Title. I remember when I made my personal decision to become a WWE Superstar, and my own friends -- my own family -- telling me that I shouldn't do it, because I will never be as great as the Mr. Perfect. Well, I'm here to prove them all wrong. No one believes in me, but I don't care, because I'm better than perfect. And I will do something my "Perfect" father never did...win the WWE Championship.

The one thing I do like about his WWE ring name, is that after looking up Mr. Perfect, I'm thinking that "Michael" might have been chosen because it was his Curt Hennig's middle name. But the surname change is just stupid. What's wrong with calling him "Mike Hennig?"

Seriously, why do people still care about Kane? What'll come out of this anyway? So it is Kane, he turns heel on 'Taker for a fued that will last roughly two months, and then he'll either go back to being a face or just a jobber whatever.

Kane pushes bore me to death coz they never go anywhere, you should all stop feeling so optimistic every time Kane gets a new storyline, coz with every new storyline comes an error somewhere in Kanes backstory.

I bet it will be revealed that Kane did it in the end. Kane or HHH. Why? See my storyline idea for reasons...I think it would make it a classic storyline.

if I was doing it, here is how I would have it unfold. Kane continues his search, but can't find any real suspects that could have done this. After investigating the entire Smackdown roster, Kane goes out and declares that "It was NOT anyone...on...this roster!" and then goes over to search Raw by attacking Raw stars.

However he finds no evidence and declares that it was not anyone on the RAW roster. Then somehow Kane finds a clue that some NXT rookies who was eliminated were in the area that day. Eventually Kane finds a "clue" and comes out to the ring and calls Skip Sheffield out to ask him face to face if Skip did it. Skip Sheffield comes out in a gothic outfit and a serious face and stares down Kane before attacking and destroying Kane in the ring! Skip Sheffield then grabs the mic and says,

"Yes...you were right Kane...it was me. I took out the Undertaker because I deserve to be in the WWE. But Skip Sheffield...Skip Sheffield DIED when he was eliminated from NXT...I am not Skip Sheffield...I am NIGHTMARE!"

Skip Sheffield is then revealed to be "Nightmare", a new Smackdown monster. Nightmare and Kane feud over the summer and in their blow off match, HHH interferes to help Nightmare win and when Taker "wakes up" Taker says that all he remember is being attacked from behind...by a sledgehammer! HHH then reveals that he was behind the attack all along, he planned it out as revenge for Taker costing his best friend his carrier! HHH comes out and says,

"Fair is fair Taker. You took out my BEST FRIEND, you ended the greatest tag team of all time, D-Generation X, you ruined our fun so I took YOU out forever, I took YOUR team Brothers Of Destruction out forever. That is why I HIRED Skip Sheffield, I GAVE him my sledgehammer and I sneaked him into the arena!"

Taker returns (eventually) and we get a bunch of Taker/Kane Vs HHH/Nightmare matches eventually leading to another twist in the storyline when Taker asks Kane where Kane was at the time he was attacked and nearly destroyed. There is a pause and Kane reveals that...he left the arena...because HHH told him how Taker has always held him down, held him in his own shadow and that if Kane leaves tonight...that shadow will no longer fall on him!

This leads to a huge heel turn for Kane (and by this time its spring, this a long term angle) and we get a wrestlemania match of Taker Vs Kane, HHH and "Nightmare" (Skip Sheffield) in a handicap match that is hardcore where weapons are permitted.

It would be the biggest threat to Taker's streak, two guys he barely beat before (HHH, Kane) and a new young monster (Skip Sheffield).

As a result u get a new star in Nightmare (skip Sheffield), u get an amazing match (Taker facing 3 guys at the same time) and a long term storyline.

(I think WWE will go with HHH or Kane as being behind this, but this way I think is way better cuz its not boring)

This is exactly what I thought.

First off though let me say how stupid I think this whole thing is: WWE could have easily just come straight forward and say Undertaker was going to be out due to an injury suffered during his match with Rey, and then just have Kane get his push as being the "avenging brother". But no, what we get is Taker in a supposed "vegetative state". I mean c'mon, really!?

For any other wrestler, that would work just fine. However, in kayfabe terms, The Undertaker has survived just about everything and essentially impervious to pain. They can't just flat out say that he hurt himself on Rey Mysterio's knee brace. That sounds like a silly thing to hurt a Phenom. I think this way keeps his mystique in tact. A buddy of mine told me that his son called him crying the other day because he thought The Undertaker was dead. At least they're invoking some emotion into SOMEONE.

On a very slightly related note, I loved the mix of Kane's theme song into the slow, somber eulogy music. That was pretty cool. I liked Kane's promo too, for some odd reason.

Glen Jacobs is good at his job and while I don't see any world title coming his way, i'm glad he is getting more time and wil not be jobbing hopefully as much during this program.

what i would like to see from this storyline is kane feud and demolish whoever did this, tag with taker for a while then turn on him and rekindle the old feud they are both good big men and can put on great matches so im all for this
