Two questions about CM Punk annoucing, since I didn't watch Raw:
1. Did they give a kayfabe reason why he's doing it, or did it just happen?
2. Was he a heel or face? The short clips I saw of it he seemed mostly face, with the odd heel comment here or there.
The 1st time he came to NXT as the announcer, Cole mentioned his injury.

He's announced on NXT? Didn't know that, but then I haven't followed anything from NXT 3.

He announced NXT and last week's Superstars. Both, along with last night, were amazing. Apparently he's a permanent fixture for the forseeable future, too.
