Punks gunna get in Ortons wifes face, Orton gets distracted, Ryan wins.
Book it.
As long as Punk gets to slide an inch or two in, I'm all for this.

Kind of odd to have CM Punk be with Nexus if the end result is Punk doesn't get to use them at Mania which could have led to Orton having to overcome the odds for a huge win or Nexus becoming an even more dangerous group.
Punk vs Orton match should be great though.
Guy laughing for some reason in the front row.
God, someone disband this train-wreck. Nexus is like the long-running joke in the WWE, it seems. How weak can writing make one group look OVER AND FUCKING OVER?
This just in, Nexus v3 will form in June 2011 and will feature Milli Vanilli on vocals. They'll open every show with a cover of "Baby's Got Back."

They're making The Miz look like a threat so he can lose to Cena at WrestleMania without looking like shit.
If Cena kicked his ass every week, the match at WrestleMania wouldn't gain much interest as the majority of people would know that Cena will win as he's been kicking The Miz's ass every week.
With The Miz destroying Cena every week, Cena's fans will want to watch WrestleMania to see if Cena can win. They'll also want to see if Miz can still dominate in a match and not by attacking Cena from behind like he's been doing every week.
Or something like that anyway....

I like how we were all complaining about how Sheamus was being buried, but the moment he wins the US Title, we all switch to how Daniel Bryan is being buried and being "worried" about him.
I, for one, praise WWE in making Sheamus United States champion. Hopefully he can continue on a winning streak to regain his dominance, as well as elevate the US Title back up.
Also, hate to pull a Gertner, but Daniel Bryan was getting absolutely no reaction in that match. I mean, he had Sheamus down and was kicking the shit out of him, and the fans are just sitting on their hands.
He's on a fast track to Superstars.

I wouldn't count on Miz winning at Wrestlemania, but I don't think he will look weak. It's the Wrestlemania main event. They're going to book him strong over 20 minutes.
I wouldn't worry about him going out there and looking like shit, regardless of the outcome or what happens with The Rock.
It will be a similar match to every other Mania main event involving Cena or not.

The thing is when they actually let Bryan have a friggin match, the fans get into it. I disagree with what is said. I felt the fans were actually really into the match. Though i will say the crowd was dead when he came out.
He needs a re-tooling, desperately. Now is it his fault? Not really. They never gave Bryan a chance. He's had that belt for four months and he never feuded with anyone.
He hardly every wrestles, the one good match he had with Miz was killed when they just had Miz lay him out two weeks ago to no retribution.
He also ENTERS like a guy on WWE Superstars. He comes out with the lame classical theme, to a lame titan tron, with no effects with Gail Kim (also never pushed the right way) around his arm.
No one cares about that. That is the kinda stuff you see when Carlito was a face and would never be put on tv. Divas don't generate heat when the diva herself has been built as a snore.
If the WWE were smart, they would take him off of tv for a few weeks and have HIM be like Michael Tarver but even better. Just have him go off on heels, faces, everyone and just let him kick ass.
I know this will be harsh but do you know why I also think he's having difficulty. To me, the guy reminds me of Chris Benoit. His moves, his look, his physique, her persona. Everything. But you can't have a guy be like Benoit now due to the tragedy. Maybe I'm nuts but I feel that could ALSO be a reason for his struggles.

I still hope they give Bryan-Sheamus 20 mins at Mania. They would tear the damn house down. Hell I'll even take it next week when I'm at Raw but I was hoping they were gonna stop it with another Sheamus ankle injury tonight. Bryan is by far the best in the ring right now. Anyone who disagrees just doesn't watch his actual matches. Its what happens with hype and build-ups is what has gone wrong.
I mean if Cena went around aimlessly he would have been no one either. He would haven't have the actual wrestling skill either.
Oh well. They are leading to the Rock showing up either next week or week leading into Mania. They almost have to they way it has been built.
I also gotta say the Cole-Lawler-Swagger-JR-Austin saga is the best going right now. I will cry is JR gives Cole a Stunner at Mania or something.
Anyone else been really let down by the whole HHH-Taker build up? Leaves a flat feeling for me.

The show was pretty darn good, top to bottom. I would have liked a little more wrestling, but overall the writers did a solid job of hyping up the Mania feuds and planting the seeds for two more matches.
I thought the Bryan/Sheamus match was great. The end was well done, and I'm glad to see Sheamus getting the belt. It might be a step down, but the guy won the WWE title twice in his first two years. Getting a mid card run and going against guys like Bryan and Morrison for the next few months is going to bode well in freshening him up a bit and getting him involved in new fueds. The idea of seeing Sheamus and Bryan bringing it at Mania for 10 to 15 minutes is promising.
I haven't read through the pages of the thread yet, but I'm sure quite a few posters are not happy with the JoMo/Trish Snookie v. Dolph/LayCool/Vickie angle. Honestly, I don't mind it, and here's why; Ziggler and Morrison put on some great singles matches while battling over the IC belt during their SmackDown! run. There is little doubt that these two will disappoint at Mania. Secondly, Trish and Michelle McCool in the ring at the same time is a good thing. Trish looked sharp tonight, and McCool is the best heel diva they have built since Trish. Fact is, Snooki will be there solely for her celebrity status. I'm sure she will get in the ring and take someone out, but let's be honest, LayCool, Trish, Dolph and JoMo are getting all the ring time till the end of the match. No need to panic or moan and complain considering the type of talent that will dominate screen time during the match.
Saw the DQ coming for the Del Rio/Cena match, which is the right way to book it. Love how they are making Brotus Clay look like a beast. Heel monster enforcer for the top heel on SD! is a good way to break him into main programming and get him involved in Mania.
And once again, WWE closes the show with Miz looking as great as ever. The way they've built him up going into Mania is great. Yes, he's going to lose. But he will have all the momentum, and he's getting over on Cena much like Bats did last year. They're making Miz look and act as a main eventer, and they're making him look like a legit threat.

I don't think anyone can say what WWE realizes right now concerning Daniel Bryan. This could be yet another good feud he gets put in where a guy who can actually talk and create heat helps get the crowd on his side, much like the Miz did when they feuded.
I forgot to mention Cole, but he's number two on my list in most well built heels going into Mania. He's drawing heat, and he keeps one upping Lawler. Loved JR putting him over with the "God Almighty" during the An-Cole lock.

Also, Miz has been amazing these past few weeks, but it is making it really obvious that Cena wins at Mania. Like, any hope or "doubts" a guy could have are gone.
Maybe, but I also thought this going into Money in the Bank. Miz was straight destroying people every week so naturally I thought that he was in no position to win. Obviously the circumstances were a bit different then but it isn't impossible. Also, we still have a couple weeks for Cena to get his revenge.

Raw was good. Absolutely love the whole Cole/Lawler/Swagger/JR/Austin stuff, fantastic.

You can’t start off a show much better, although I’m still wondering where they’re going with all this. Seems like a lot of teasing for something we’ll never see, but if The Rock throws down a Rock Bottom at WrestleMania, I’m content with that.
Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus was match of the night without a doubt. Good to see Sheamus getting a win too.
Michael Cole has been overpowering the show for a while, and these segments don’t help. Just feels like overkill for a match, and although it was cool to see Grandmaster Sexay, it was kinda sad. He looks like a wrestler who does a lot of coke. Having said that, nice to see the entrance.
Great to see Jim Ross again. I’m hoping this leads to a stipulation that if Jerry Lawler wins at WrestleMania, JR gets to return to announcing on RAW, even more so when you realize that his best friend is the guest referee for the match.
It’s cool that Randy Orton punted all of Nexus, but there’s two more RAWs, and you know CM Punk has something up his sleeve.
I’m SO against Vickie Guerrero on RAW.
Another beatdown to end the show guarantees John Cena winning at WrestleMania. We all know this. There’s no denying it’s going to happen. 100% chance of The Miz losing, which will suck, but it will be interesting to see how The Rock plays into the match.

So much for giving Ryder a push but at least he made an appearance and Snooki gave him the rub literally lol.
I guess I was the only one to think that a taped Rock promo was an underwhelming way to start Raw? Crowd didn't seem all that into it. I called it being a kid dressed as Cena as soon as Rock referenced that he was at his house. Promo was good I guess but nothing outstanding. You can make anyone look bad by bringing out a kid version of them (same goes for skinny/fat/old/midget versions). The prom did turn the corner when he addressed Miz.
I literally LOL's when I saw Michael "Main Event" Cole's Cole Mine. And I actually marked a little for JR. Guess absence does make the heart grow fonder after all. Loving the rub that Swagger is getting from this as he is a personal favourite of mine. Called the Brian Christopher appearance too.
Sheamus v Bryan was solid. I like that Sheamus took the belt, I think it elevated the title more that it devalued his "Main Event Status". Sadly I don't think this bodes well for Daniel Bryan. I'd like to see him on the Mania card. He puts on a good match and I respect the hell out of the him. Not too many guys have taken the old school route of plying their trade across the globe before making it big nowadays.
I didn't mind Snooki on Raw. The Shore is a guilty pleasure of mine and for the sake of 5 minutes of screen time and as one sixth of a match at Mania for some "mainstream" coverage, I don't see the issue. Hell, throw Bieber in there too for all I care.
I was tipped off that Miz did "something awesome" on Raw and when Cole announced that The Rock was there I put 2 and 2 together to call the third "surprise" of the evening. Nice beatdown on Cena I suppose, I won't herald it as great just because it was Cena being owned as I'm sure a few people are. Agree that it sets up a Cena win at Mania which doesn't please me all too much.
Good show.

What was with that dramatic music playing subliminally during The Rock's promo on The Miz?
Seems a bit overboard from the production

Why do you feel the need to assume people can't enjoy a segment for it's own right and not because of what you perceive to be an irrational disinterest in John Cena. Hell why do you feel the need to insinuate people dislike Cena just to be cool (or whatever), is it not possible for you to admit that people don't dislike Cena because it's the in thing to do but because to them he's just not an entertaining character.
Fuck you guys spend more time bitching about people bitching about Cena then the people who bitch about Cena spend bitching about Cena.

Vickie Guerrero and Snooki sound like stereotypical gay men.

Sheamus vs. Daniels was the highlight of the night. The Brian Cristopher thing was cute. The Rock/Cena/Miz crap was all boring as hell.

also JR was awesome. They need to do SOMETHING with HHH/Taker. The constant "NO IMMA BEAT YOU" promos aren't getting the job done.
