Wow. I was thinking the whole time "No way this goes off without a hitch" and was just tense the entire scene as they were pulling it off. Shit was going crazy and I thought, 'They're actually going to do it. Something is going to go right without any problems for once.'

Then it happened, and I was left in shock. Earlier I had thought the kid might witness it or something, but as it went on I had completely forgotten about him. Then when he showed up I thought he was just going to take off suddenly and they were going to be screwed trying to catch up with him. Then BAM. Fuck.

Jesse :( The only time he's caught a break in this whole show was when Walt killed the two guys instead of letting Jesse do it.

Why dissolve the kids body? There was no evidence on him of the train heist, they could have left the body in a different part of the desert so at least his parents would have had some closure, it surprised me.

I don't think they really cared about closure for the parents (except maybe Jesse). Even if they lefti the body in another part of the desert, it was pretty obvious the kid had been shot. Police would have been brought in to investigate. It brings unnecessary and unwanted attention. Slim chance that it could be traced back to them, but better just to get rid of all evidence anyways if you have the means.

I was thinking how cool it would be for this entire series to be a glimpse into the story of a drug kingpin. That he gets away with it. They humanized Gus Fring by showing a glimpse into his history and why he was the way he was.

In movies, you typically see criminal leaders already at the peak of their run and usually view their downfall. What if Breaking Bad is the downfall of a normal man turning into something much more sinister? The story we never get to see in other movies. Usually criminals are always criminals, who just work their way up the chain in a way. This could be something way crazier.

I love this show! Finished the last episode earlier in the week, got all excited for Sunday, only to "what the fuck?!" at the re-run. Needless to say I didn't know they split the final season in two and am now pissed.

Hope the fucking Mayan calendar shit isn't true....
