I'm surprised that they didn't confirm R-Truth vs. Morrison for SummerSlam. People actually care enough about that match for it to make the card.

Something about Cenas character tonight that seemed more 'real'. As if he wasnt speaking as a character but more as himself. Really helped made this feud even more legitimate on top of Punks brilliance as of late.

With a dash of Bret Hart, and smidgen of Vince McMahon and the broken heart of Shawn Michaels.

I have only one question, have the ratings for Raw been any better? If the answer is no, and with Monday Night Football starting up again, this has been a waste.

This is the exact kind of ignorant, instant-gratification needing thought process that will put the boots to amazing angles like Punk/Cena/HHH, and will send us back to "the safe zone" with Cena vs whoever boring bullshit.

Rome was not built in a day. Austin vs McMahon didn't cause the ratings to spike through the roof over night. It was a gradual process where the company proves that they can be consistently entertaining. "Seinfeld" didn't have shit for ratings their first season and they became one of the most successful shows of all time. Why? CONSISTENCY.

I had no intention of posting in this thread, but your ignorance has lured me out of my hole.

Making a new main event star. What a waste.

Why is it a waste? Are you a shareholder? If not, just enjoy it and fuck the ratings.

I think you should calm down, did I hit a sensitive area with you?

If a star is made in the forrest, and no one is there to see it, did it really happen?

Even if the ratings are stagnant, there's still a good few million people in the US alone seeing it happen...

A lot of people missed Austin's initial push and evolution because they were either clinging on to WCW or not watching wrestling, until they heard about it and got dragged in.

I have come to the inevitable conclusion that ThePhantom is Hulk Hogan.

My comment wasn't earth-shattering... I just thought Cena pulled funny faces that he usually doesn't pull. That is all.

I actually didn't like those "funny faces" and little smiles he was pulling while Punk spoke...it was as if he either was uncomfortable and felt alittle awkward, or he was just trying to be "funny"...

That's the best way if they want HHH to be heel but tease it first. Have him do the dirty work and raise suspicion with HHH making him screw someone for it to be revealed he did at the end.

I enjoyed how CM Punk referred to Laurenitis as "Funk Man".

Pretty sure all that will happen is someone will win clean, be celebrating the victory, then have Triple H turn and give him a pedigree and then stand over the top of both of them as the real victor and thus bury everything that has happened over the past couple months because that's what he does and god dammit I hate him SO MUCH GOD DAMMIT GOD DAMMIT HE'S SUCH A DICK

...I have a feeling that Laurinitis will be the "face" authority figure, and Triple H will be the "heel" authority figure...

...how it will get done, I have no idea...

...or, it could go the other way...who knows...

...I have no idea.

They will if he ditches the suits and dresses like this:

You didn't like the faces because maybe they were... evil?

*little finger to mouth*

Today it's an evil face... tomorrow it's a stray foot on the ropes to get an easy pin, then BAM!
