I thought I was seeing things when I saw the Twitter thing glitching.

I watched the video and I get the feeling that it's maybe got something to do with Jericho returning.

Just jumping to conclusions right now but Jericho is always on Twitter and using a social networking site to hype a return will be a first for the WWE.

Also, the interuption of interference on the Twitter thing is sort of a trademark for Jericho. When he was about to debut in the WWF his clock always interupted people and his hype promo's about his return to the WWE, was cryptic digital codes.

Also, the kid in the video said "It will be the end of the world as you know it". Jericho is the best in the world at what he does. Right now, CM Punk is claiming to be the best in the world. The kid also said that a "familiar force" will return on the second day of 2012, which is a Monday and will claim what is his, possibly referring to the WWE Championship.

Also, the kid is quoting "Isaiah 26:20" at the beginning of the video.

Despite rumors to the contrary, the cryptic promos airing for January 2012 are meant for Chris Jericho as of this writing.

News came out last week that talks fell through between WWE and Jericho but they are still ongoing as of right now. Also, Jericho recently said he would never wrestle for WWE again and when asked what he would be doing in January, he responded “Working in Hawaii”. That’s likely a cover-up.

Word is that the deal between WWE and Jericho is not done yet but Vince McMahon wanted to get it out there now. Obviously Vince McMahon feels a deal will be made. WWE officials want Jericho on the RAW brand to help boost ratings.

Honestly, i'm thinking either Jericho or Sheffield. Sheffield as this Ryback character that he used to be. Can't really think of anyone that would make much more sense, not that Ryback actually makes that much sense in the first place. Actually, "It will be the end of the world as you know it." sounds kinda like a more 'Terminator'-y thing to say. Remember Ryback was a Terminator-like gimmick. Also, I may be going too far into this but when a Terminator from the films comes to the present from the future (Ryback was billed from 'the future') it causes a small electrical storm and electronics go faulty, which could explain the faulty twitter graphic. The general vibe I got from people who saw this was "Jericho," but the video doesn't really have a Jericho-like vibe. The kid in school? The Bible verses? Unless Jericho has worked out a new way to "re-invent" himself? I mean, Jericho did say he would only return if he found a way to evolve his character, and he did say that if he could have played any character in history, it would have been one like The Undertaker's. Could Jericho have tapped into a new persona? Perhaps something a bit gloomier like this video could be used to promote a rivalry between Jericho and Taker in time for WrestleMania? Mere speculation.

My honest thoughts watching the video, though, were:

1. Vince McMahon returning to try and get "his" WWE back.

2. Batista -- for some reason I believe the video really suits him. He's played darker characters before, and even Biblical ones. The video doesn't seem dark enough for an Undertaker return (unless it's a completely remodelled Undertaker, which seems unlikely at this stage of his career).

3. WWE Network changing the world.

But now that people mention it, Skip Sheffield returning with his Ryback character seems likely. More videos will likely be produced, so we'll get better (or worse) indicators.

The thing I don't understand is that I'm reading that supposedly Steve Austin would love to wrestle Brock, yet back in the day, he didn't want to put him over.

I'm not sure if Steve stills feels that way, but you've got to believe he's not going to come out of retirement to LOSE. And Brock isn't going to come back to WWE, being a huge UFC star, to LOSE.

I think it'd probably be a match where people run in toward the end and it ends up a draw or something.

I'm 90% sure it's Jericho, honestly. The timing is too perfect. This whole thing is a red herring, which is a perfect thing for him. It insinuates Taker more than Jericho, and WWE obviously expects people to read into it that way.
