The kung pao bitch thing is still retarded.
funny words + bitch does not = something amazing. It just makes him sound fucking lame. He's on the same level as JBL is poopy. Except Cena didn't try to make JBL is poopy into a fucking catchphrase. lol

They said things in unison with him and were loud the entire time. What more do you want? I am glad he didn't mention twitter, though.
they just tried a bit too hard, if they'd have just had Rock start the crowd off with just the chorus and the Cena sucks bit over and over and have Rock go home from there, it'd have been fine, maybe even a "bit of a spectacle", crowd singing, Rock bathing in it etc. But Rock trying to keep up/sing lyrics and leaving the chorus in/drowning out the crowd just made it a bit messy and confusing. Was fine until then

I will agree the "We Will Rock You" ending was not well thought out (or rehearsed). I still don't see how Cena is getting such props in this thing for "nuts on your face". This entire build up has been underwhelming considering the anticipation, but based on the promos it is obvious this match is more important to Cena than it is The Rock. I hope they fix this in the next few weeks.

Tonight was gift wrapped for the Rock to one up Cena. Cena came out first made it short , scriptless and that was it.
They gave Rock the last segment and gave him all the time he wanted. It's a good thing though Rock needs to have his wins. But face to face mic to mic, Cena owns

So a lot of people are complaining about the end.
A good amount of people didn't like any of The Rock's stuff tonight and that's fair enough, but I'd say that the majority of people were all loving the actual Rock Concert. That's probably 90% of The Rock's stuff tonight, but instead, it seems like they've just decided to forget that and focus on and complain about the 10% which was The Rock's "We Will Rock You" thing. :-\
The Rock was great tonight and he clearly won this round. The end really showed that The Rock had the people behind him, especially the image of him on the turnbuckle and the majority of the arena lit up (Without "fancy lights" though) so we could all see everyone behind him. The music (Without the vocals) really helped push that image too.
But I will say that the crowd was pretty bad tonight. Thankfully, Raw is in Philadelphia next week. The Philly crowd is always great. :y:

The more time that goes by where Rock seems 100% more interested in his own character than the match that this is all leading up to, the more I just see him as a walking prop for Cena to use at WrestleMania to put himself over.

Pretty good episode of Raw.
Jericho with the "pipebomb" out of nowhere to Punk was amazing. Cena using his throwback theme worked out great for his rap while the Rock concert was great except for the karaoke part.
I like how Funk managed to return in a squash match considering his first push got derailed because the WWE didn't want him in squash matches anymore and didn't think he could wrestle a 5 minute match.

That is why they are having the match. I just want The Rock to say why he hates Cena and why he wants to beat his ass. I agree with Destor that "bitch" has almost lost all of its pizzazz. In the current landscape, The Rock's stuff is funny and entertaining but it isn't as compelling as HHH/Taker, Punk/Jericho. I just don't think The Rock is the drizzling shits. He is doing what he has always done and it is still over.

Punk/Jericho stuff owned the night for me. Period. Over anything Cena or Rock did. Rock was good till the end and Cena's wasn't long enough to win. I'll give Rock the night by default.
Didn't see that coming at all from Jericho and it was a pleasant surprise. Everyone I was watching with dropped jaws when he started pulling the drinking stuff out. That adds uber heat in that feud.
I wish they would do more with Sheamus and Bryan. It will be a great match and all but there just isn't any steam at all to it right now. I'm not sure why but hopefully will change in the next few weeks.
I mentioned earlier but holy crap the GM thing is over every where. Long and Santino continue to get big pops every week. That should be a fun match.

Also, I love how the 4 most anticipated matches on the card were all built up tonight without any physical contact between the guys involved. The whole "challenger beat the champion in a tag match" thing doesn't really mean anything since the outcome of TV matches are so random anyway and "so and so get the upper hand this week" is played out and boring. I love when they force themselves into being creative by building heat without contact. It's great.

4th week straight that Cena has been on fire.
Jericho/Punk had great progression tonight.
Taker seemed "weaker" tonight compared to HHH/HBK. Though I loved the line by HBK "isn't it ironic that I could be the one to end the streak this year". A great twist and a great story allover.
The Rock seems to be held to really high standards by a lot of people nowadays. Granted his promo tonight stumbled at the end, but the guy is still one of the strongest and most entertaining talkers even on his off days. Rock may never be as "great" as he once was, but as a fan he is still a joy to watch.
Some of the moments from tonight are why I stilll persist with being a wrestling fan, making it all worthwhile.

And good Christ was that Jericho segment compelling. This fued is going well thus far, and Jericho going for the emotional mind game upped the anti. Punk's expression the moment Jericho mentioned his father followed by the slow, defeated walk up the ramp made for some great tv.
Spent the whole of Rock's segment just thinking how ludicrous it was to close a wrestling show. Don't get me wrong, it was over for the most part and funny in spots, it just seemed kinda "surreal".
As for Cena, his stuff was fun and the crowd were behind him when he left. Makes you wonder why WWE don't just reintegrate into his fulltime repertoire.

Don't you think?

People evolve... John Cena evolved... even Rock evolved his... John Cena going back to what he was would look real fake at this point.
But how did everyone feel about Raw? I think it needed more Roday and Ryder.

I was watching The Rock's concert again, I noticed that his guitar was pretty smashed up at the back when he flipped his guitar as he was picking it up.
I'm guessing it got messed up when he was traveling to Cleveland.

Are you sure that's damage and not some sort of micing device for the guitar? Looks like something's strapped on with duct tape. I don't know how they normally mic acoustic guitars so I could be completely wrong.

I enjoyed Raw. I also enjoyed Cena's rap, Jericho's promo and The Rock's concert.
Ziggler vs Sheamus was good, though I'm still not interested in Sheamus at all. :-\
The handicap match served as a good way to continue the GM fued and announce some members. It's quite obvious so far though that we'll see Kofi and R-Truth on Long's team. We'll probably get that announced on SmackDown this week. I'm really not into Long continuing to be an ass towards Big Johnny by constantly shoving him, even though Laurinaitis hasn't really done anything majorly dickish. I'm trying to think of what Laurinaitis has done that's dickish towards Long in some way (Not counting the sudden handicap match last night) and all I can think of, is him making a match between himself and Long on SmackDown with the Kane/Aksana stipulation. But if that's it, then he's not really being a dick seeing as he was the GM for the night, so he could make any match and stipulation he wanted to. Long on the other hand, is the one being unfair and a dick, in my opinion.
It was nice to see Brodus Clay back though, and I like the tweek they've made to his gimmick. An all dancing and smiling man who becomes a man who'll fuck you up once the bell rings. It's like a mix between Rikishi and Festus. I'm not sure where the whole Ryder/Eve thing is going. But I just hope it doesn't lead to seeing Kelly Kelly at WrestleMania, even though it's really looking like it will.
The Undertaker/HBK segment was good. I enjoyed that. The crowd really need to stop with the "What?" chants though, and I don't watch Psych, so the amount of "Roday" on Raw was fine with me.
Personally, The Rock's karaoke thing at the end, wasn't great, but it also wasn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. I've read some people describing it as being "the drizzling shits", which I think it's really over exaggerating, but each to their own I guess.
So yeah, I found Raw to be really good this week. :y:

I didn't think of that possibility, but I'm sure I saw the ropes appear through the guitar for a split second when he was picking it up like there was a hole in the guitar.
Also, I can't see any wires for a mic of some sort but if that is duct tape, then whoever taped the device to the guitar did a really shit job of it. It's a mess.

Cena was fantastic tonight, HBK-Taker segment was fantastic, Jericho is a cold motherfucker. Decent show.
Rock was fucking terrible and awkward, Clay looks even worse somehow.
Best promo of the night, however? Law Offices of David Otunga. Just pure awesome.

I enjoyed the parts I saw last night, Rock Concert was great some parts, ackward and forced imo at others. As for the Otunga's Law Office promo, that was actually hilarious and awesome.

If you do not see how Rock is completely superior to John Cena, you are a fucking moron. Cena does not belong in the same sentence. The Rock is an elite, and will go down in history with some of the greatest company you can come up with.
Cena isn't even in the same ball park. Town. World. He's a medium fish in a small pond. He's a mid-carder among jobbers. That's it. The real talent on the current roster is with Ziggler, Punk, and Orton. Those guys could be even bigger if the face of the company weren't so pathetic, and if WWE weren't so inclined to stick with a top babyface who gets booed out of practically every building in America.
It's all dumb. I hait you.

The Rock Concert was great. Cena coming out to his Thuganomics theme and throwback gear was great. Loved the Jericho promo and I was kinda feeling the same way about Taker's mic work...doesn't seem his normal self. April 21st? Really?
