As much sense as Cole was making it was almost like he was in character while making the point that "Man, you fuckers love to complain about stuff like me wrestling but when it comes to a vote, me wrestling wins. Pretty sure it was common knowledge the WWE writers had no idea where the GM angle was going to go towards the end, hence they dropped it. This was just something to tie up a loose angle. It was fun for the kiddies and that is what matters so stop your bitching.

I mean... they already forgot about the anonymous GM because the writers are fucking retarded and like to start shit without a plan and then let it die out with no climax.
So, with that being said, it's not like Hornswoggle being revealed as the guy RUINED anything. It did make me laugh though in a "Holy shit, they really did it" way.

As with all their major storylines. I've been saying it all thread. It seriously how they go about writing.
Jericho's silent promo return, Ryder, Eve, Kane and Cena, Anonymous GM, etc.

Wouldn't be surprised if she was originally meant to be with Kane before the sudden drop of him from the Bryan-Punk feud.
He joins in randomly for about a month then drops out with a pretty random excuse of AJ being too crazy.

Yeah, they did a fine job of not letting the Punk and Bryan hype drop off though like I said, the way the night began, it looked like they could have made a nice little intriguing cliffhanger at the end instead of circling back to square one.
As for the rest of the card, not a great job of building heat. And there's still only four matches on the card meaning there's likely gonna be a couple throw away Superstars level matches despite the fact that they've had ample time to build to rivalries. The writers just don't try. It's sad.

I believe they wouldn't be giving her such a big spot in a feud such as this, if they didn't have anything set in stone from the start. I'm sure in the beginning, it was a hit or miss but it ended up creating a big buzz and I'm certain this will have a nice payoff that will satisfy the viewers.
Damndirty
07-10-2012, 12:23 AM
Come to think of it... this does seem to indicate that the writing team is planning nothing! It looks very random, and they're only keeping a so-called storyline going as long as people respond to it. All in all, this is more of a spree than direction.
