The Shield are fucking stupid. Wow, three random new jobbers are thrown together and attacking people for no apparent reason. How original for a stable. Ground breaking writing and tv right there.

I have Ziggy's theme stuck in my head.
Possibly because I listened to it like 7x in a row after the PPV.

Just thought... Big Show retaining means they are probably planning on him having a big match coming up. Makes it more likely we're gonna see Ryback vs Show at WrestleMania for the WHC. I had my heart set on Ryback vs Lesnar. Damn.

More matches with hardcore rules need to incorporate comically giant versions of the foreign objects we've come to know and love as if just making them bigger makes for a more "crazy" moment.
Kendo sticks the length of a grown man. Industrial sized metal trash cans. Spanish announce tables fit for 12 Mexicans to sit at. Brass knuckles the size of a gallon of milk.
That's the future, my friend.

Yeah man. These jobbers who have had one match and won it. It's like the fucking job squad up in here.
I think the reason they were thrown together was for them to look threatening as a unit and BAH GAWD it worked. They've explained their reasons for attacking people so it's not "random" and while it's not original, it's a good way to introduce 3 talents.
Of course, if you have a better way to introduce 3 of their most exciting prospects, I'd like to hear it.

Trying to think back to the last "hardcore" match that was as good as that 6-man in WWE. There was a fair few pretty brutal spots in there.

I hope Punk doesn't wrestle until the Rumble. I liked the fact that they put on a good PPV last night without him. It's like the old days when you had to wait to see a top guy wrestle and it just built anticipation and gave you incentive to buy the PPVs were he does wrestle.
He can bitch about how unfair it is that Dwayne gets 10 months off before the match while he's had to bust his ass every night and now he wants to take a vacation. It would be a pretty legit gripe.

Thoroughly enjoyed all of the gimmick matches from the show. The finish to the tables match was insane, as was the bump Rollins took off the ladder. Cena pressing the ladder with Ziggler on it over his head was impressive too.

I am interested to see where things go. For all intents and purposes, Sheamus/Big Show should be over. Where do they both go from here? Ziggler/Cena will stretch until at least the Royal Rumble. Rock/Punk will start heating up now. The Shield will get more of a presence now. Ryback has a title match looming, but still unfinished with The Shield. A tag team title match that will be built up for over a month. Really is the perfect launching point to begin "The Road to WrestleMania..."
