Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter cut a promo trying to convince everyone that they thought just like they did. He said we’re the problem too if we don’t agree. Alberto Del Rio interrupted and threw to a clip of Ricardo and Alberto mocking Colter’s YouTube video and talking about Mexican food. Pretty funny stuff.

Team Hell No beat Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre (w/Jinder Mahal). Bryan made Slater tap to the No! Lock.

Matt Striker interviewed Dolph Ziggler backstage. Ziggler said he was going to make history tonight. Then he made out with AJ while Big E stood by.

Backstage, Ryback was walking down a corridor and had a face to face with Mark Henry, but they said nothing.

Damien Sandow won’t get an entrance but he cut a promo on how Darwin’s Theory of Evolution forgot his opponent.

Ryback beat Damien Sandow after Shellshock. Sandow got a decent amount of offense, but typical Ryback match.

Ricardo Rodriguez came to the stage and told everyone in the crowd to deliver the “Albertoooo” a long as they could when Del Rio came out.

Backstage, Matt Striker asked Big Show about what happened after Raw. Show said he’ll take out anyone, but he blames Sheamus and Orton for what happened. He put up his fist and said that’s his answer for all of them.

A Fandango vignette aired hyping his debut tonight.

Alberto Del Rio beat Dolph Ziggler with the Cross Armbreaker. Good back and forth match with lots of near falls. Ricardo dumped a bucket of water on AJ, but Langston and AJ got sent to the back for it.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan told AJ she looked like a wet puppy. She said that she’s with the next world champion now. She said Bryan’s reign ended in 18 seconds. Bryan said that being with Ziggler, she should be used to 18 seconds.

I just noticed that Brad Maddox is still on commentary. It’s a three-man booth with Maddox, Michael Cole, and Josh Matthews this week.

Mark Henry beat Yoshi Tatsu. Henry won the squash with the World’s Strongest Slam.

Backstage, Striker told Sheamus that Big Show blamed him (and Orton) for his attack at the hands of The Shield. Sheamus said it’ll be his fault when he kicks Show’s head off his shoulders tonight.

Tamina Snuka beat Kaitlyn (w/Layla) in a non-title match. Tamina got the win after a Samoan drop.

Backstage, the Rhodes Scholars were watching the monitor. Cody Rhodes asked what Damien Sandow thought of Kaitlyn as a woman. Sandow replied that she’s done her best despite being a result of an inferior gene pool. Hilarious delivery.

The ring crew changed the mat after the Divas match. Insert joke here.

Fandango was set to debut against Justin Gabriel, but he refused to compete because Lilian didn’t announce him properly. This schtick will get old quickly.

Backstage, Teddy Long tried to teach Booker T how to say Fandango. Funny.

Sheamus and Big Show fought to an apparent no-contest when The Shield interfered. Randy Orton made the save, but The Shield got the upper hand. The babyfaces cleared the ring of the heels, but Show KO’d Sheamus and Orton hit the RKO on Big Show.

It was an awesome show. I was on the side of the arena that Roman Reigns came out on, about 6 seats from the steps he came down. We knew they were coming out because Security started clearing people so he could come down.

In fact, most of the people on my side missed the last 5 minutes of the match because we were all watching for The Shield. lol

Brad Maddox on commentary is worth watching.

yeah:( The unfortunate side of being there live is you don't get the commentating.

Miz was at the table for Main Event and Maddox was there for the Saturday Morning Slam tapings.

Dark match at the end of Smackdown had The Shield vs orton, Sheamus and Ryback. We left when that one was getting started, but it was over by the time we got downstairs and out of the building, as Rybacks music started booming.

yeah...he actually sounds like he might speak better English than Spanish. We couldn't even tell he was Mexican at all while he was speaking english, sounded nothing like him. Surprised alot of us.

Went to the tapings. I dunno. Just felt lackluster. Good night out I guess.

I was really looking forward to it too, I dunno. I think it was just all the fucking kids there. Or not having floor seats maybe. Couldn't feel the action from where I was even though I had good seats. Gonna have to watch the shows and figure out what the fuck my deal is or if the show really was luckluster.

It definitely had it's blah moments. I really feel not hearing the commentary kills alot of it for me.

The Fandango segment was ok, I guess. The character just seemed kinda creepy to me though.

Half of the arena not even paying attention to the Sheamus/Big Show match because everyone was on the lookout for The Shield was hilarious.

Maybe it was the trailer park old lady next to the other trailer park old lady next to her behind me during the Del Rio-Ziggler match saying "I hope Del Rio teaches Mr. Ziggler a lesson" 12 times.

Brad Maddox should be on commentary every week. He's tremendous.

what side of the ring should I look for the "Shisen Kopf Rules TPWW" sign?

Think Lillian might have botched saying his name wrong since she kept doing it the exact way he wanted each time.

I like how Maddox complains where's JBL? Same thought here.. I hate Cole with a passion.. Why does he have to be on SD? JBL >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cole

Michael Cole and JBL should be the RAW commentary team all the time. Brad Maddox can do Superstars with Scott Stanford and perhaps be the most underrated commentary team ever. SmackDown can have Josh Mathews & Matt Striker. Saturday Morning Slam can be Tony Dawson and Road Dogg. Main Event can be Jim Ross & William Regal. PPV can be Michael Cole, JBL & Jim Ross. Jerry Lawler can be RAW GM with Brad Maddox as his assistant. Vickie Guerrero can become 3MB's band manager.

Cole is really good at his job, he just cops a lot of heat from us. He's like the John Cena of commentary. I do feel that he is overexposed, though. Just let him do RAW and PPV. That's enough to still make him the Voice of WWE.

I agree with everything you said but one thing.

I think Lawler as Raw GM would get really annoying, quick. I think Lawler would be just like a white Theodore Long but without the dancing. I wasn't a fan of Long's time as SmackDown GM. It was like he was constantly stuck in "ultra face mode".

Though in other news, I found Brad Maddox to be a delight to listen to.

Lawler could be that annoying face, but he could also use this as an opportunity to slide his character more into shades of grey. King could declare that now only RAW Superstars are allowed to compete on RAW, and take RAW back to being an "exclusive" show. Booker T manages to get together some Superstars who don't mind being SmackDown exclusive, and we get a bit of a rivalry between Booker T and Jerry Lawler, without it being given too much air-time, of course.

Only if Booker reverts to his King Booker persona.
