WHATUP Y'ALLS.

...that is so not me.

TONIGHT ON RAW

HHH may or may not appear!

Ryback and Cena will probably say things to each other!

Chris Jericho will probably taunt CM Punk on his couch some more!

And other sports entertainment endeavors.

Mr. Nerfect

I'm really hoping for Chris Jericho vs. Curtis Axel and Randy Orton teaming with Team Hell No against The Shield.

Theo Dious
06-03-2013, 07:22 PM
Also, the Bellas will probably turn up to promote the Diva show that nobody will watch.

Michael Cole will say stupid things and JBL will verbally smack him down.

Brodus Clay and Tensai will have a match that leads nowhere.

Things will occur backstage.

An ambulance will probably be involved in something.

Actually according to WWE.com we're getting Axel vs HHH again. :wtf:

According to the dirtsheets, its because the crowd didn't care at all about the Triple H concussion injury storyline. Was also going to mimic the stuff with Lesnar that had Triple H out for a few months only to return to get his revenge.

Scrapped that long build in favor of just mimicking what was done recently with Cena where he just brushed off being seriously injured as if nothing happened.

HBK passing out and pretty much flair-flopping in the ring was shocking and impactful. HHH just slowly fading out was uncomfortable to watch and hard to tell what they were going for.

A clean win is winning on your own merits with no cheating or unfair advantages. Beating someone suffering from post-concussion affects and who probably shouldn't be competing is not winning clean.

Triple H vs. Axel at Payback would be fine. Triple H should make it an "Unsanctioned Street Fight" since he can't get medical clearance or something. Triple H and Axel beat the shit out of each other and just as it looks like Triple H is about to win, Heyman gets in the ring to protect his client. Triple H gives Heyman another awesome Pedigree and Axel manages to get his hands on a sledgehammer that had been introduced by Triple H and cracks him in the jaw and gets the pin.

* Triple H looks like a beast for competing and holding his own despite not being medically cleared.

* The fans get to hold onto the belief that Triple H would have won if it weren't for Heyman.

* The relationship between Axel and Heyman is strengthened by Heyman's sacrifice.

* Axel gets a huge victory over Triple H in an environment that is his speciality.

* The storyline of Triple H's head injury can continue.

So we're discussing the semantics of what is a clean win or not. Fine, I'll give you your definition, but consider that Axel's own merits would be what puts the nail in the Triple H coffin -- without the implication being that Axel didn't really do anything to bring on Triple H's defeat.

Mr. Nerfect

This would actually be fine with me which makes me believe that one of us is on drugs.

I'll give you something crazy then:

A lot of people are expecting Daniel Bryan vs. Kane or Team Hell No to challenge The Shield again at Payback. How about they go with Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton at Payback and have Kane left to face Dean Ambrose in singles competition for the US Title?

Tonight, you have The Shield win the six-man tag when Reigns pins Orton with a Spear after Orton is distracting by taking out Seth Rollins with an RKO. Daniel Bryan -- who is obsessed with being the weak link, after all -- attacks Orton and calls him "the weak link." Kane pulls Bryan off Orton, playing the voice of reason that has been lately. Bryan is offended that Kane is taking Orton's side.

On SmackDown, Orton tells Bryan that he wants payback at...well, Payback. Kane comes out and tells Orton that if he wants to get his hands on his best friend, he needs to go through him. Orton tells Kane that he respects him, but he needs to stay out of his way. The two are put in a match by Teddy Long or Booker T, or whatever, which ends when The Shield hit the ring and attack both men. Prior to this, Bryan approaches Kane backstage and asks him why he is fighting his battles. Kane says that Bryan is losing his grip and going to get himself hurt. "Oh, because you think I can't beat Randy Orton, right?!? Because I'm the weak link, right?!?" "No!" "Yes!" "NO!" "YES!"

Bryan runs down with to fight off The Shield after they have attacked Kane and Orton. Bryan shows that fire he showed on SmackDown the week previous, and he cleans house. He then turns right into an RKO from Orton. Kane then chases off Orton.

Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan is officially confirmed for Payback, while Kane makes the challenge to Dean Ambrose for the United States Championship. On RAW, Brad Maddox makes the announcement to The Shield that if Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns interfere in Ambrose's match, Dean will be stripped of the US Title. At Payback, Ambrose goes one-on-one with the monster. Ambrose looks worried, but on the SmackDown before Payback cuts a promo where he says that he's not afraid of monsters, because he's always felt like one himself. You don't need to be 7'0 tall, 320lbs to be depraved. Ambrose believes in monsters, because he is one -- and Kane will believe in The Shield. He'll believe in Dean Ambrose.

Another bizarre match is confirmed for Payback on next week's RAW by Maddox, who informs Rollins & Reigns that while their rivals are tied up fighting each other, they will be defending the titles -- against any former Tag Team Champions that want to challenge together. Obviously, some teams such as Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater and Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre aren't reformed, but Epico & Primo and Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins all step up to challenge The Shield. It may be filler, but it would showcase the champions pretty effectively, since all four men can bump pretty well for them. At the PPV you could also have The New Age Outlaws show up and join the fray, which might be a nice little PPV surprise. The Shield eliminate both (or all three) teams and stand dominant together.

Ambrose gets himself purposely disqualified against Kane just as it looks like The Big Red Machine is about to capture the only championship active in the WWE that has alluded Kane his entire career. He nails Kane with a ring bell or something. Then he gets a steel chair and beats Kane to a pulp with it. Ambrose then rips off the mask of Kane and takes it with him as a trophy. There is no sign of either Daniel Bryan or Randy Orton on the scene.

In their match, Bryan and Orton stomp and kick the crap out of each other, and although Bryan would look amazing with a win over the Two-Strike Viper, Orton winning would probably further Bryan's development as seeing himself as "The Weak Link" and push him closer to the edge. Tensions between Bryan and Kane also mount, since Bryan was too focused on Randy Orton to be there when Kane needed back-up. Ambrose looks vicious on his own without the aid of his partners and has a ready-made feud with Kane down the track. Kane also gets the technical victory, so he has that going for him. He also becomes sympathetic, but also has reason to become aggressive and distrustful if they decide to go that route. Orton gets another solid victory and the Tag Team Champions get to showcase themselves in a match that might not "matter" much, but still allows them to brag about beating former champions.

YOURE Absolutly right
And for some reason I like it. My snarky cynical side should be screaming the defense of Swagger v ADR saying Langston is a muscle-bound 2 move D-cup bodybuilder and besides all that Swaggers theme is awesome, I know I shouldnt like this feud.

Nah, I'm the same.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I would like to see a random Curtis Axel vs. Tensai match on SmackDown with Tensai trying to be a kind veteran and let Axel know that he was once a Paul Heyman Guy and it de-railed his career for a few years and Heyman then telling Tensai he had all the tools but wanted to fight The Undertaker and never really listened to him. Axel then beats Tensai and mocks his dancing. Heyman could even be savvy enough to link Tensai's training under Killer Kowalski with Triple H's training, and that despite the size differences there are similarities there to prepare Axel for his eventual match with Triple H. They could even pass off Tensai as a "friend" of Triple H's and someone that he signed as COO back to the WWE as a favour.

It wouldn't be revolutionary or anything, but it would give Tensai a starring role on one episode of SmackDown and give Axel a good showing against a solid big man.

Axel can continue the assault after the match and then Brodus Clay can stick up for his friend, giving Axel another big man to beat the following week or on RAW.

Oh, I'm not saying that Clay is shit or anything. I enjoyed his fun antics when he debuted. I'm just not as fond of him as I am Tensai. There's something goofy and out-of-place about Tensai funking around that is kind of enjoyable too.

I loved it last week when he went for the mic although Clay was clearly talking about Khali. He just manages to do little things out there that I enjoy. And it's not that Clay doesn't do little things either.

What I love about Tons of Funk is that they could actually very easily be repackaged as a monster heel team. If there were more face teams to go against them, The Wrecking Balls could do some serious damage together.

See, I don't really see him as old-school face for some reason. He seems more like 2006 Triple H face, if you know what I mean? I'm not saying he should be more like Randy Orton or anything like that -- I just don't care about his persona at the moment. I certainly don't feel any sympathy towards him, and he doesn't really seem like a "nice guy." That being said, I always felt the same about The Rock, who used to pick on helpless announcers and embarrass them in front of millions of viewers.

I like Sheamus just fine, but his current character just doesn't feel like top-level stuff. I'd like to see him in a program with Ryback where they can just club the shit out of each other. I also can't wait to see how great Johnny Curtis looks with the Intercontinental Championship.

Not as good as Rhodes.

Miz puts that on better than Flair

So is Miz always doing an elevated bridge because he still can't pull off the Figure Four correctly?

Not as good as Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes isn't fit to be in the same title picture as Fandango.

I'm pretty sure Dusty lays in bed at night wishing Johnny Curtis was his son instead.

The Miz reminds me of face Batista, in that I just can't think of a program that I really want to see him in. I kind of think he should turn heel again. Even as a face he's just so antagonistic.

Just a way to put it on quickly and without the chance to get rolled up for a 3 count.

Interesting that Rhodes/Curtis comparisons are coming up. I kind of think of the Fandango character as a mind game similar to Goldust.

I mean, Fandango essentially throwing the tag team match against two WrestleMania headliners two weeks back seems stupid and like he doesn't want to even be there, but what it did was earn the ire of a champion. In my mind, Curtis has manipulated Barrett into wanting to put the title up against him.

It's the same thing when he made issues with Jericho. He could have let it go, like he did matches against essentially everybody he was booked to face, but he was going about creating intrigue against himself and positioned himself with constant attacks to make it on the WrestleMania card, which is something no one expected of him. He uses the hatred he provokes in others to benefit himself. I'm not sure if that trait has been intentional or has been overtly stated by someone in kayfabe, but to me it adds depth to Curtis' character, and he's not just a dancer who has made the jump to the WWE.

In fact, I'd love it to come out that Fandango was never actually a ballroom dancer, but that he simply liked conning everyone and knew it would help him slip under the radar.

It's not necessary, since the IC Title would look so good on Fandango anyway, but I'd love to see him wear the belt with some flare. Stick some pink feathers on it or something and use that as a heat device.

"WWE World Champion"

Even Jericho doesn't know the proper name for these titles.

The thing is, as much as Punk is sacred in Chicago, Jericho is so well respected that I could actually see them cheering him too.

Would Ryback beating John Cena in all three falls make him a credible WWE Champion?
