HOW DID YOU PEOPLE LIVE WITHOUT ME EVERY MONDAY???

And with this Monday night comes the aftermath to a bland to disappointing PPV in which the best match was the curtain-jerker, people are getting fed up with the main event storyline but somewhat interested in its undercarriage, and you may or may not have to read my comments about it all night long depending on whether or not I drop any energy shots tonight.

MY NAME IS TEDIOUS AND I AM FUNKY!!!

Happy birthday to Raw thread regular, Corndad. Welcome to the 30 club. Its all downhill from here.

I will never understand why they have these pictures with sound. Makes it seem like we're watching things on 56k.

Is it that hard to put the highlights together as a video? Doesn't have to be flashy.

Poit
10-28-2013, 08:02 PM
Interesting that the slide show there didn't include Triple H shoving Bryan or Michaels hesitating before counting the pin.

The belief is that showing any kind of video footage from the PPV event will detract from replay sales. Stupid, I know, but that's the reason.

Kinda expected Orton to open up the show.

Frank Drebin
10-28-2013, 08:06 PM
Kyle Orton?

DrCrawford
10-28-2013, 08:06 PM
Yeah, meh.

Also, it makes me feel weird thinking that one day when Cena retires at an old age - if WWE is still around and he comes back for a legend appearance, that people are actually going to mark out for his five moves of doom...

Why can't the commentators just concede that when a Money in the Bank Winner cashes in that it's the smart thing to do? Then they can talk about the chances of the former champion getting their title back in fair competition.

I think it would be more exciting if the Money in the Bank contract was amended so that if the winner cashes in and becomes champion, the person they cash in on doesn't get their immediate title rematch. Would create more of a chase for face champions and such.

Awesome match, but way to shit on the MITB concept. WTF the announcers making it out like Cena had a choice in the matter?

I dunno. Of all the Money in the Bank Winners, Sandow is the only one that I've thought a loss would fit. His whole character is that he's meant to be smarter than everyone else. Give him a shot whenever he wants it and he should be unstoppable. That's why him not getting it done shows a humanity to Sandow that an obvious win wouldn't have achieved.

Now how can Sandow talk about how he's smarter than everyone? He got his clear shot and he missed. Humble pie is coming Sandow's way, and he's either going to mature or he's going to become more dangerous -- either way, it's character evolution.

Whereas Sandow winning would just be him coming out and talking about the same things he has talked about since he has arrived.

Dude, there was a Sonic next to the hotel we were at a couple of weeks back. Went there like 4534 times. Love taking time looking at the menu and ordering when ready.

Sonic is alright, the commercials of these two old guys is just not for me. I don't bullshit with some random dude in my car and share food with him. They touched a little girl in one of them.

Langston & The Usos will win this match, with Langston probably pinning Ambrose. I wonder if there will be Shield miscommunication?

Why does everyone hate the rematch clause?

I just feel that it is kind of bad for the drama. A face loses to a heel in a screwjob and it's OK, because he'll get a title match on either RAW or the next PPV. A face beats a heel and instead of a fresh program, the heel gets another shot.

It'd be great if Cena got a new opponent for the World Heavyweight Championship, for example --- but he's going to have to keep going with Del Rio.

You need to give credit to three things in that segment:

1. HBK's ability to get over as a heel despite his legendary status and actually not obviously flying heel colors. The man was essentially apologizing.

2. Just how fucking over Daniel Bryan is as a face.
