At least when the Rock won it he defended it at every ppv until he lost, which was only 2, but I don't want to see a bunch of ppvs where the WWE title isn't defended because Brock Lesnar isn't working those dates. He really needs to lose it at Night of Champions.

Easy explanation: No one wants to get fucking murdered by Brock Lesnar.

Not even close to a fair comparison. Don't try and be a cool anti-IWC guy by pretending it is.
Cena has been booked as unbeatable and unstoppable for most of a decade. No matter how much punishment he takes, he never stays down for long.
Bryan was always booked as an underdog and barely scraping by.
Cena taking an almost uncomfortable beating is different and meaningful. I love Daniel Bryan, but if Brock Lesnar came out and beat the shit out of Bryan for 20 minutes, it would have felt like a Raw match and wouldn't have meant shit because forty other guys did it this year. Brock has insane momentum and buzz because he dismantled the one man that for the better part of a decade hasn't been put down cleanly, let alone absolutely demolished, by basically any one.

I was merely asking because I see this lovefest for Cena getting destroyed and we all know it should have been Bryan there. I was curious to see if the reaction would be the same. Just remember, Bryan was booked as pretty much getting screwed over every month for like half a year then he finally conquers The Authority by winning at WM. Brock conquers The Streak. Obviously, it would have been Brock/Bryan here and if it was in his contract to get the belt at some point this year (I'd bet on that), my guess is that we would have seen the same thing. Cena is just there because Bryan got injured. I'm fine with Brock winning, but a 20 min one sided beat down fight with no added stips or gimmicks was IMO not the best way to handle it. I can easily see it being the same thing if Bryan was in the match. That I would have hated very much.

Reigns is the only one I see ever being built up enough to look like a legit threat to Lesnar but they can't go there yet. I like Lesnar won but after decimating Cena where does he go? No Bryan or Punk there. Cena just got destoyed. Ambrose still has business with Rollins. Jericho just lost. Bray makes no sense. I'll be curious where he goes from here.
Ambrose/Rollins stole the show as suspected. Nikki turning also as expected. Everything else (as it shows in my lack of Tipsters points) was kind of a suprise.
Dolph winning was biggest surprise to me but one I was was happiest about. IC Title should be the Workhorse title and that fits Dolph, esp if the World Title won't be defended as much now with Lesnar, you will need it defended a ton on Raw and Smackdown.

I hope that John Cena reads this I thought that it was the worst summer slam pay per view I have ever seen I have been a fan of the WWE for more than thirty years I have watch every pay per view that they have come out with, but not any more I was not impressed at all and I think that vince needs to come back and run the day to day operations because until some one else is running the d t d operations I will not be ordering any more pay per views. No wonder why the company is loosing millions of dollars they really need to take a look back at how things used to be and the way they are now because Vince was a Billionar now he is only a millionar when a company starts loosing that much money they need to fix things. any way I am done ordering pay per views and I have time warner cable so they don't offer the net work so I have been spending a lot of money every month to order pay per views but after tonight's pay per view I am done Karl Riley Warsaw New York

I think in the back of Vincent's mind , he realized he was in a dreamworld and the day will come when his troops wrestlers will be performing before 4 or 5 thousand Fans again paying 20 Dollars, Vince you are back in the 1980's again in your Tee shirt performing at CYO centers, could not happen to a nicer Guy.

Lesnar literally has no realistic feud until WrestleMania. No one is taking the title from him til then. They really need to find some feuds that can sell PPVs that don't involve the title and they need to do it fast.

Simplest idea would be to just bump up the US and IC to a higher status and fill both with hype selling feuds.
They only need until the Rumble for filler stuff with Lesnar so just feed him big name stars who can generate sales but afford the loss (ex. Orton, Henry, Sheamus post-US reign, Cena again).

I'm all for putting over the next guy but Bryan or Reigns are nowhere near worthy of doing what Cena just failed so miserably at.
I kinda see the opposite.
I imagine Bryan's comeback trail has him coming heads up with Lesnar, beating him in a grueling, hard fought victory, and Brock going monkey shit that he's basically run roughshod over what he considers "legitimate threats" and loses to "somone not on my radar".
My questions at this point are:
1) How are they going to handle Brock being "the man" with his whole limited days sitch... I mean, in that they've storyline stripped people of various titles up to and including Danielson for "not being able to defend", and then you give *THE* title go a guy who will barely be around to defend? Stretching the suspension of disbelief thin there.
2) What does this mean for Seth? No way in hell he's going up against Brock. That would just be another wasted MITB holder.

I can't see any possible way they make the IC or US title something that can main event or even go a long way in helping to sell a PPV at this point.

Well, I'll say that I really enjoyed SummerSlam. It was a great PPV pretty much from top to bottom.
The only downside was Paige winning the title, but we all know my stance on Paige, but other than that, great PPV.
I hope though that Paige/AJ ends after AJ's rematch and we get someone else in the title picture. I just can't be doing with hearing Paige scream all the time, or attempt to show she has mic skills. She's abysmal on the mic. I would like to see crazy Alicia Fox back in the title picture, or maybe even Natalya.
Anyway, more positive things now and I'd say the match of the night was probably Rollins/Ambrose. Ziggler becoming Intercontinental Champion was pretty great too and it's about time he has his hands on a title again. I get the feeling now that we'll see Ziggler as champion until Barrett comes back. Then we'll see Ziggler/Barrett at whatever PPV is next after Barrett's return. Also, what was with Miz's back? It was completely red, like he got some pretty back sunburn or something.
I was somewhat surprised that Rusev won his match though. I thought that with a storyline like this, with it being USA vs Russia, a big stage would be great for Rusev being handed his first loss, and it being to an All-American American.
Though I will say that it was pretty cool to see a massive Russian flag above the ring, while the Russian National Anthem plays (great anthem by the way) and Rusev and Lana standing triumphantly with their flag over the bodies of their fallen American foes.
http://oi61.tinypic.com/f0nejt.jpg
Such a strong image. It's great.
A quick mention on Stephanie/Brie, and it went pretty much the way I thought it would, though much like everyone else, I too thought Stephanie was looking "Bonerific" last night. Like I said previously, my initial thoughts were that she looked like some kind of sex mistress. Though she was looking in great shape last night and she also looked like she hadn't aged at all. But when she's not wearing her wrestling attire, she does look her age, so I don't know what all that's about. Maybe it was the way her hair was last night, I don't know.
Anyway, for the first time in a long time, I really enjoyed Randy Orton in a match. I don't know what it was, but he was great in his match with Reigns, but it was pretty obvious that Reigns was going to win. I'm just curious to see where Orton goes from here now. Though I will say that I liked the taped hands and different coloured trunks, even though it was only grey. I think Orton should stay away from black trunks for a while and mix it up with various coloured trunks along with his taped hands.
Lesnar/Cena was pretty mad. I don't think I've ever seen Cena get mauled like he did, and I don't think I've ever seen such a one sided PPV Main Event. Still, it'll be interesting to see what happens now as the WWE Champion is now a part-timer. Though now, with Cena losing, if he ever wins the title back, he'll be tied with Flair with sixteen World Title reigns. A part of me looks forward to seeing the reaction that gets, if it ever happens.

Mostly as I think the story behind it will be that he'll want to stick it to Triple H and Stephanie by winning the title and also show them that he isn't a B+ player by defeating Lesnar, of all people.
or
http://mixgossip.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/The-Rock-2013-Wallpapers.jpg
Sort of a "Dark Horse pick", but if it is The Rock, it'll be a "Once In A Lifetime" type thing for the title at WrestleMania 31. Rock vs Brock.

With the logo change now happening, they've made a new WWE Title with the new logo.

If the image is real, as it's a pretty low quality image so it could be fake, I'm expecting the new title to be used tonight on Raw, along with the new logo.

Steph is in great shape though and is the bully in the storyline. She is also physically bigger and stronger and a former champ herself.
Brie had turned it around and was going to win until Triple H got involved and then she was taken out by Nikki. They couldn't have done anymore to have fans sympathize with her. I never though I would care about this storyline but they have won me over.
I was jaded on wrestling tbh and have not watched much all year, but this ppv was great from top to bottom. They are back on track with Wyatt, they made ambrose and Rollins look even better, put over rusev and reigns huge, did something different in ME scene, gave one of their best workers (and my personal fav) the IC title.

Yeah, what was up with Germany needing four guys to call matches?
Also, that Bernhard Wulff guy didn't look like he was supposed to be there. When the team were introduced at the start of the night, everyone else was talking and all he did was stare directly into the camera like a deer caught in the headlights.
Also, during a few matches, I spotted him in the background doing what looked like texting on a phone, while the others were all huddled around their monitors doing their jobs.
Carsten Schafer looks like he is upset at being showcased. He seems like the old school "stay out of sight, do commentary and focus on the match" kinda guy.
