I don't think anyone thinks mania won't be good. Just the tv leading into it is BLAH and the tv after it will most likely be blah.
Have fun tho!
I don't know, I didn't think 27-29 and 31 were good. But even knowing how much I didn't like them, you better believe I'd still go back and be in the crowd. I bet it's a stupid fun time even if it's Wrestlemania IX. So jealous of Heisenberg regardless.

Taker lives in Houston though?
Austin. When did they stop saying he was from Death Valley?
If the internet had their way every worker would be Lance storm. There would be 55 people in each arena and 50000 watching on tv, but the internet would be happy.
And they would all be like:

Don't forget Cornette would be booking.

Triple H hasn't lost a WrestleMania World Title Match in Texas

I meant to say this a few days ago, but this was a very fucking shitty Raw.
Honestly, if WrestleMania wasn't guaranteed to be a smark crowd, I'd probably watch Shane vs Taker and ignore the rest. The biggest draw of the show to me is to see how they avoid the crowd shitting on the show.
This. Lets face it crowd reactions are interesting and part of the show.
Its not like the crowds don't spawn things that WWE likes to capitalize on.

To be fair, I've been pretty vocal in the past about being against most of the stuff the "typical IWC fan" is for. Anyone who was here during the Daniel Bryan push can attest to that.
I also happen to think Jim Cornette understands the basics of how to get wrestlers over WAY more than any "writer" in WWE does nowadays. WAY, WAY more.
The two camps are not mutually inclusive.

Yet everywhere he has booked he has failed miserably

And I'm saying as a fan of his. I just think he's terribly over-rated as a booker.

Why can't he make a star outside WWE?

Anyone wanna take this glaringly obvious answer?

Just woke up?
Just got around to TPWW. Didn't watch Raw until Wednesday either.

Slight correction...started watching on Tuesday, got through some of it, fell asleep, had to go to a show, had to go to work watched from where I left off on Wednesday, and have essentially felt an impending disappointment ever since.
Which is a far cry from never leaving the house on Monday like I did in my adolescence as to not miss a second of WWE action, but I suppose we all grow up.
Definitely watcjing Wrestlemania, though.

Having nothing to do with Cornette, I would just like to say that there is some really good music that no one has heard on the radio.

Been watching season one of Lucha Underground as it airs here.... Just saw them crown their first champ....

From what I can gather from his marks, it would definitely be the company he worked for's fault

I'm sure there is. But I don't believe Cornette created any of it.
Cornette is one of these old bookers who had some success and in his mind he can rinse and repeat the sake formula. But when he gets a chance to be a key contributor somewhere, he does nothing for business. He makes his living by screaming about how everyone else is the shits. Meanwhile if he looked in the mirror he would see a giant skid mark.

And a whole lot of retrospective booking which anyone can do.
