I could have just chalked it up to him and AJ just not having much chemistry or AJ still adapting, but he hasn't been able to have a real great, engaging match with Ambrose too. Both AJ and Ambrose seem to be able to make gold with just about anyone, which really only leaves Jericho to blame.

Was almost purposely really slow, kind of like they wanted it so seem like crazy zaney Dean comedy match and it sucked the crowd out of it, but they wanted to build to the thumbtack surprise I guess. Once the tacks came into play the pace picked up considerably and we got 4 minutes of a pretty good match.

Reigns has been a good worker who has delivered in main events (except for Mania, which was just slow and boring along with having the misfortune of being at the end of a 7 hour show). The problem with him is that his booking is just so over the top.

He'd make Super Cena blush in terms of overcoming the odds. That's the only way WWE know how to book the face of the company anymore.

I honestly think that eventually AJ's failures will cause Finn Balor to come up and usurp his position as leader. In the meantime, you probably have Styles enter Money in the Bank and lose or wrestle John Cena at the PPV. Anderson & Gallows are the next logical choice in line for The New Day's tag belts.

And contrary to as it sounds, I'm 100% fine with Reigns winning. At this point they may as well run with him and I think giving the Styles the belt right now would be too early. Plus a feud with Rollins for the belt is the natural next step.

Didn't watch tonight and haven't watched the RAW's building up to this. Sounds like people enjoyed the show for the most part.

None of it really sounds exciting to me, and that could well be my own fault. First PPV I have missed in a long time, but just not into it at the moment. Honestly don't know if it's me and I have grown out of it or if my interest in what's being offered just isn't there.

New generation was pretty crap in hindsight but I was glued to it, just can't get into any of this...

Exactly, I'm fine with Roman wining as well but that finish was just anticlimactic in my opinion. The match was great and Roman has looked the best he ever has in this feud and hopefully working with a similar guy in Rollins will continue that.Not sure where they go with AJ now.

Happy for the people that enjoyed the show; it just didn't do a whole lot for me. Felt like it would have been a good Raw, since it had a couple of good to great matches, but overall nothing really "happened" other than Seth FREAKIN' Rollins coming back at the end, which is great, but not really a "payoff" to anything in the preceding 3 hours.

I'll probably watch Raw live tomorrow to see what they do with Seth, at least, but the "New Era" seems to be more of the same holding pattern with different faces.

I do think New Day retaining over Vaudevillains does more to hinder and harm the perception of the tah team division, though. Needs better structuring and booking, IMO.

Also thought the ending sucked the air right outta the arena. For the first time, I was in to Reigns's match and both guys were looking good. Someone said it above, but the beating he took just to kick out and do 1 spear was insanely anti-climactic and felt too much like a "lolcenawins" kinda moment for me.


IC match is easily the match of the night.

This was the first show I've watched since the Raw after Wrestlemania. I've only very loosely followed spoilers over the last two months, but pretty much didn't really know anything in terms of storylines etc.

Overall though, I thought the show was great. Has the quality of WWE picked up since the "New Era" began? The fatal-four-way was fantastic, and was actually the reason I even bothered with the PPV in the first place. Ambrose and Jericho was good. I'm not that big on cage matches but there was some nice spots and Jericho taking the thumbtacks was unexpected. Reigns and Styles was also amazing. As someone said above the ending was kinda "meh", but overall I couldn't look away, the whole match was solid. Styles seems super over and it feels crazy to think that a guy who was pretty much TNA's franchise player for ten years is now headlining WWE PPV's, but good for him.

I see Reigns is still being booed religiously. It's a shame, as he's a solid hand in the ring, but obviously the circumstances of his push will always hinder him. Still, the three matches above made this PPV totally worthwhile. The two tag matches were good, though nothing special but fun none-the-less, and the Divas match I skipped. Nattie being in the title picture is pretty much back to basics in terms of random jobber diva is suddenly winning matches and #1 contender... she'll be off TV again within the next month. So glad the butterfly belt is gone though.

After WWE's output over the last year, this show was an absolute improvement on everything. 4/5.
