I just was testing out this new Dolph Ziggler attired I'd downloaded and realized the Universal Championship I'd downloaded is glitched. Dolph enters with it no matter what and is announced as champion even though Owens is the champion in my game. I did a quick Google search and found this is a common trend. I'm guessing whoever made the title had Dolph as the champion when he uploaded it. I'll just need to delete it and create it myself, which I could've easily done anyway if I weren't lazy.

This could just be my imagination, but I've been doing a ton of Rumbles lately and it seems like they've fixed the AI so that tag teams and stables don't fight each other unless they have to.

I'm in the middle of a CPU controlled all-SmackDown Rumble right now. Jey Uso entered first and Jimmy entered fifth as the ring filled up. Neither Uso ever touched each other, the ring got whittled down to just them and Luke Harper and they just both beat the crap out of Harper until someone else entered.

Then later on Orton and Rowan were the only two guys not paired off in a full ring, but rather than pair off like the CPU was doing other times in the match they started attacking other dudes and breaking up the other fights going on. Alpha seemed to stay away from each other too.

If it's purely coincidence then my copy of the game just knows how to book.

Also i love how wwe raw 2 back on the original xbox managed to make use of mp3 files for entrance music, but 14 years later the 2k series can't manage it on pc...

Yeah was trying out the video maker, its decent but the clips don't run together smoothly, every-time it goes to a new clip it has a pause in it. Also slightly edited the entrance timing from what it was originally and changed the explosion pyro.

Its sad how much of a total farce this game is online on pc. The "community" for it seems to have the same population as a ghost town, getting a simple 1-1 can take 20+ minutes of waiting. Its incredibly buggy, like the last games the game uses alternate camera angles which tank the frame-rate down and as a result the moves are done in slow motion. In 2k16 when it went to different camera angles the game engine seemed to get confused and automatically go to the cut scene frame rate of 30fps. Seems like its doing the same thing in this game, Goldbergs spear from the corner often ends with him running up-to the opponent and just stopping dead in his tracks for no apparent reason, its like the game can't figure out where the opponent is.

Half the time matches just turn into kicking and punching competitions as grappling just seems to end up with you being reversed more often than not.

Just a pile of old wank to be honest, not even sure why they bother to include online if barely anyone plays it and its as buggy as fuck, then again 2k16 on pc still has unresolved crashes with the big cass \ enzo entrance and the game was basically abandoned after i think 1 update.

The online is as bad on consoles, just more populated. If you get into a lagfest, you just want to pin as soon as possible as the other guy cannot kick out. Having timings based on input lag is stupid as all fucking hell.

Loaded this up for the first time in months, absolutely hate the fact that in multi-man mat hes (rumble, chamber etc) that you are always double teamed when there is an odd number of people in the match.

That one cunt i was playing i could hear him randomly hitting his keyboard on the kick-outs so must have had a keybind in place.

Random slowdowns in matches, people that somehow manage to kick out of everything you hit them with despite the fact their life meter is dead, other people that reverse everything you do which given the fact the games a fucking lag-fest should be virtually impossible. I really don't know why they have several online modes as so far all I've been able to get is 1-1 matches which seem to take 20 minutes of searching for. Next year i'm just gonna torrent it as its not even remotely worth even half the price tag they slap on it. :fu:

I hear ya man. I have been through the struggle with online. I still find it satisfying to beat someone who's much more highly ranked in Ranked mode, but when you get towards 3-4 digit rank territory the novelty has really worn off.

Well after a few more horrendously bad matches online its obvious that the fucktards that make this game have zero fucking clue about how to make a game that actually works well.

First of all lets have a look at this moronic reversal system, they give you some little bar that gives you a certain amount of reversals. Seems to be if you're on the ground getting a kicking and reverse it, 99% of the time the cunt you're playing against will hit you with a running move when your character is getting up that's impossible to do anything about, putting you back where you were until this reversal gauge is totally depleted then you may as well put down the controller and go jerk off until another reversal is charged up as you can do absolutely fuck all until then.

Most matches seem to be dominated by this bullshit of being knocked down then knocked down again as you're getting up and its just a pathetic little cycle that goes on until the match is over.


Secondly, what in the fuck is the point of this weight system when reversals, signatures and finishers TOTALLY IGNORE IT? You can spend an entire match against a character that's unable to slam you from a grapple but is somehow totally capable of picking your character up and slinging him across the ring when it comes to one of the aforementioned three options. 2017 and a weight system in a wrestling game is still only for basic moves...

Submissions are also a complete farce, if anyone ever wanted to see how bad the netcode is in this game watching the retarded delay of the submission system reacting to your inputs is all they need to see. Its entirely possible to lose a match inside of a couple of minutes due to this laggy, un-intuitive laughably bad piece of shit system they have in place.

I swear this game is like its coded specifically for the ocd types that have a set routine that wins them every match, as most matches go exactly the same way, get knocked down, reverse on the ground get knocked down again as you're getting up, unless you're playing against someone totally new to the game. For all the hype these games get they're literally nothing but shovelware, some minor changes and a slight roster adjustment year in year out while the underlying problems with the gameplay remain. :fu:

Having bought War Zone, Attitude, Wrestlemania 2000, No Mercy, every game in the SmackDown/SD vs Raw/WWE/WWE2K series it looked like I wasn't gonna play this...then it's on free play weekend.

Game is pretty much the same. Some great additions/returns with the fighting in the crowd and backstage brawling. The changes to ladder matches are actually a plus, managed to enjoy and win a 6 man TLC!

The career mode takes forever to get going. The promo system is really poor.

My other gripe is the submission system. Breaking Point meter would have been so much better. I also seem to be having trouble getting the timing down for the pin meter too. I'm having a decent time with it, tho....well was. The free weekend thing was up. I have it for my 360 tho.

I'm also working on 2k16....but it doesnt have near the customization options that 17 has.
