I'm glad Dean actually got his moment, even if I expect him to drop it to either Rollins or Reigns in a triple threat next month.

It actually works out. They can get the Shield triple threat out of their system and then they can wind up on different shows after the brand split.

I would surmise that this reign is a nod to the hard work, sacrifice, professionalism and consistency displayed by Dean Ambrose. I would imagine he's keeping the belt warm for Seth and Roman. I would love him to have a lengthy reign but at the very least, it is a great gesture from the company to give him this chance even if he is clearly not their guy.

Network was spotty tonight. I got the Tag Team title match which I thought was a little iffy with everyone involved. Seen Corbin vs Ziggler but didn't care anything about that match. Seen most of the AJ/Cena match and didn't mind the finish, was a great match. Ladder match was pretty good, network froze with Ambrose and Owens at the top of the ladder but the audio continued so I heard who won. Same thing happened in the with his cash in picture froze with him in the ring as the bell rang and all I had was audio.

I'm glad that Ambrose is finally champion. I hope though they don't make it transitional and they give him a run of at least a few months. I really thought Reigns would retain via Ambrose distraction setting up the rematch at Battleground, where Rollins would win via DQ from Ambrose then head into Summerslam for the 3rd match.... in which Ambrose would do what Rollins did at WM, cash-in mid match, make it Triple Threat, then win screwing Rollins the way he screwed Reigns.

Oh well.... that idea is out.

I was kinda hoping that Ambrose was gonna come out earlier, tease like he was cashing in, then pull back. Wait for another spot, tease, then pull back. He could have done this 10 times and would have marked each time. It fits with the character.

Well, how could anybody tire of that? Honestly wouldn't be surprised, though, as they may use it as a launching pad to promote the Network even more heavily and grab tons of new subscribers. I guess time will tell, but I really hope it goes back to being as it was c.2002-2009.

Main event was terrible. Completely exposed Reigns as just not being 'the guy'. It's getting ridiculous how they continue to mute the crowd shitting on him, so much for letting the 'Universe' cheer and boo who they want. Send Reigns back to mid-card please.

The last five minutes saved the match, diving Pedigree was a bit sloppy but pretty sweet. Can't see Ambrose holding the title for long though, will most likely hold it for a ppv or two then it will go to someone else.
