Lucha Underground are AAA talent but I believe they have separate contracts due to the TV in the US or something. Which Lucha Underground is currently airing so it'd be pretty hard to get him out of it. Also about all they can do right now is send feelers as they've been real cautious about tampering recently.

I think announcing they wanted to sell out was a mistake too. They're fortunate there is such an "other" market right now. Also, they've announced nothing about the show that makes me feel intrigued. The most interesting matches are Okada/Scurll and the one that Omega is in, but I can't remember against who (Pentagon?). They're also doing a pre-show Battle Royal, doing a token women's match and using Downstait. It's very WWE-wannabe.

When did they announce the wanted to sell out? That was the goal but never announced or anything like that. Cody didn't even think they'd sell out as fast as they did. Whole card is pretty solid and Janela/Hangman now being a Chicago Street Fight its even better. Not sure how a battle royal and women's match makes it WWE wannabe though. Downstait's All In theme is pretty dope as well.

See, I think it's a mistake. Obviously not to try and get to 10,000 somehow, but even if the show is profitable (and once you've paid for the venue you want to hope that it is profitable), I think when you say "We're going to build it and they will come," and then they don't come, it makes you look like an idiot.

Consciously or not, if Cody and The Bucks can't do this, it's going to affect people's perceptions of them, and people can't always control their own perceptions, or even identify them.

Im unsure honestly. I think possibly. How the current product draws is a combination of the brand itself and like 7 top guys. There isnt 1 draw anymore.

Can he draw 10 people? Certainly. Emphatically. Could Cody run a tour where he was the only name and the rest was the midcard (which was a common practice in days gone by?) Murky.
