Samoa Joe makes sense for a few reasons:

1) He's credible. Braun should not team with a joke, because what is the point? He should take whatever title shot he can get seriously enough to the point where he isn't going to actively choose to have an Achilles heel.

2) It's not someone like Big Show, Kane, Mark Henry or someone else that doesn't have that big man mystique anymore because they are tied to that yesteryear.

3) He could have a fucking cracking match with Cesaro and Sheamus.

4) He will help Braun improve.

5) Joe doesn't subtract from the Braun spot. It becomes about the two of them. Theoretically the other big men could do that, but the idea of a match between the two just isn't enticing. It becomes filler.

Most matches you can't book wrong really. US title has 3 of 4 people who will work. Sorry Jinder. IC title has all 3 that can work. SD title is the same. SD women title match is the same.

Crowd was hot for Neville v Aries

205 has been rebuilding. The past month in particular, the crowd has started off quiet and by the end of the main event have been more into it and louder than for just about anything on Smackdown outside of D-Bry pretty consistently.

They're in front of a lot of people who probably gave up on the division and haven't been watching 205 Live regularly, and since they're not on Raw often any more, crowd has no investment. That's not surprising. This is more a match to see how they react at the end and how 205 Live's numbers go from here.
