They can do JUST like last year and make it a fatal four with Braun too. There is no reason he shouldn't be in the match considering he himself said he would cash in the first chance he had and Summerslam will be his first chance.

On a side note, why can't Braun cash it in on Raw next week? He is supposed to be able to cash it in whenever he wants. If Brock isn't there, then it's a forfeit.

Exactly. I turned off after the first match, I’ve fibally hit that level of anger about the Roman push. I saw that Bobby won as well. You don’t have to be a genius to add this equation up. I was legit pissed, I actually don’t think wrestling has ever made me so angry. I think the anger was also about Drew, who is clearly the fucking guy to carry this company and not Roman.

That is very well put.

I half-predicted Brock retaining the belt at WrestleMania. My thinking was never that Brock would do it being pushed as such a revolting heel though. I thought they might go with it because Roman isn't working as the classical babyface, so having Brock beat him would send the fans home happy and allow an interesting direction for a guy they want to build around to some extent.

I never thought they would do it trying to make people switch off at the sight of Lesnar.

There's no reason Brock vs. Roman can't happen at Mania. Brock can bend Vince over and basically call his own shots with him. The way they are pushing Roman as a challenger clearly means that wins and losses don't matter. They think they are a different genre all together and are all about storytelling. But if Brock loses in the UFC, it doesn't matter to their narrative. Roman will just use that for "zingers" and as hope that he can finally overcome the doubters and beat Brock in WWE style competition.

I doubt it would close the show, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. The booking of Roman's ascension has been just to fill time before they need to start thinking about what to do with him once he actually has the belt.
