There are a few other women who are better than her in the ring, but not by much. Same for mic skills. And natural charisma. But no one is as good in all those areas collectively, as Charllote Flair. She's the total package.

I'm one of her detractors for sure but it's less about her and her skills which are undeniable and more about how shes been forced down everyones throats non stop. This issue wouldn't be nearly as serious if WWE would actually let the few other women with legit star power share the limelight more with her in a meaningful way.

She's essential the female version of Cena or Roman Reigns on the main roster in terms of how very forced and awful her booking has been on the main roster. Her booking in general has gotten even worse since her return and her in-ring skills have deteriorated a bit for some unknown reason, especially when it comes to her selling skills.

Maybe one day she will have a renaissance of sorts like Cena and Reigns did when WWE finally backed off on trying to force crowds to accept their "Super" booking but until then, she just comes across as a very unlikable person to watch. Doesn't help she's been just as unlikable in interviews lashing out and complaining over others having issues with her booking and hogging the spotlight.

In terms of actual in-ring skills, she's still one of the best but also feel that she's a bit overrated in terms of her actual greatness.

Charlotte is the best for two reasons. firstly presence. this is non negotiable for a top act. second like her father she can get people over. add to the fact shes absurdly consistent and you have a talent that youd be an idiot not to back. no one out there can deliver what she does. shes beyond invaluable.

WWE learned the hard way that there is a big gap between what they think Charlotte's star power is and what her actual star power and appeal as a top female star is.

Her winning the Rumble last year was meant to give a big ratings boost to NXT for her feud with Rhea but the opposite mostly happened instead until Io got added to their feud.

Bianca couldn't even get on Raw for 6 months.
Won the Rumble when it should have been Shayna's jumping off point.

What did any of these do for Charlotte? She was already pushed to the moon. Why not let some of the others get there too?

Charlotte is an elite talent who’s only a victim to the creative musings of an old man. I don’t reveal any gripes during her nxt run and she was very much the gem of the division same as she is now. The difference is always going to come down to how’s she’s booked and how her character is presented.
