Charlotte deserves the majority of the limelight because she's the best . Fight me.
There are a few other women who are better than her in the ring, but not by much. Same for mic skills. And natural charisma. But no one is as good in all those areas collectively, as Charllote Flair. She's the total package.

And I get it. She's booked to win at times she shouldn't. But fuck it, I'll take it. Because the majority of the women's division is the drizzling shits. And less Charlotte means more diarrhea on my TV screen.

Smeat has been awfully harsh on her recently... but yeah, I think she is great and one of the only ones with star power and should definitely be a focus.

I also think the "drizzling poops" comment is harsh too, and think they've got lots who could step up and be a focus... but even then Charlotte would probably be better than them all.... but she could be used to bring up a few brauds like she brought up and made Becky.

I'm one of her detractors for sure but it's less about her and her skills which are undeniable and more about how shes been forced down everyones throats non stop. This issue wouldn't be nearly as serious if WWE would actually let the few other women with legit star power share the limelight more with her in a meaningful way.

She's essential the female version of Cena or Roman Reigns on the main roster in terms of how very forced and awful her booking has been on the main roster. Her booking in general has gotten even worse since her return and her in-ring skills have deteriorated a bit for some unknown reason, especially when it comes to her selling skills.

Maybe one day she will have a renaissance of sorts like Cena and Reigns did when WWE finally backed off on trying to force crowds to accept their "Super" booking but until then, she just comes across as a very unlikable person to watch. Doesn't help she's been just as unlikable in interviews lashing out and complaining over others having issues with her booking and hogging the spotlight.

In terms of actual in-ring skills, she's still one of the best but also feel that she's a bit overrated in terms of her actual greatness.

Swap Asuka & Sasha and Becky & Charlotte around and that's how I mostly feel for in-ring rankings. Only one I'm not really sure about is Bayley at #3 since that feels about right but she also could be at #5 as well.

Feel like Asuka is the best in ring. Sasha is very good, but her offense doesn't look as strong. That's important to me.

Becky can have a really good match with the right person, but she can't carry her lessers to a quality contest the way Asuka and Charlotte can.

Charlotte is the best for two reasons. firstly presence. this is non negotiable for a top act. second like her father she can get people over. add to the fact shes absurdly consistent and you have a talent that youd be an idiot not to back. no one out there can deliver what she does. shes beyond invaluable.


and thats why she wins. she cant make people if you don't keep her strong. and no one they have can get people over like her. perhaps at all. she must be protected out of necessity.

She’s obviously great. But she’s not quite an all time great talent people say she is. She’s possibly both overrated and underrated at the same time. The people who like her tend to overstate her greatness, and her detractors are clearly understating her ability and work.

There’s definitely talent there. Not so many stars. But again, maybe you’re overstating charlottes star power a bit. They have plenty of talent coming down the pike here soon, Rhea Ripley has probably more star potential and she’s also younger.

Acting like there’s a dearth of talent in the women’s division and Flair is the only thing holding it up is disingenuous, and honestly, I hate being the guy to say it, but Rowdy Rousey is the biggest women’s talent to date.

I kind of feel like people in the wrestling bubble are all really over the moon for Charlotte because there had literally never been a female talent like her. But she’s not as over with the casual as everyone in the bubble thinks. She’s quite clearly over, but the casuals don’t see her as this generational talent you all see her as. She’s just a great talent who’s good at what she does.

I’m not trying to shit on Charlotte here. I respect her tremendously, and most definitely appreciate her as a talent and worker. But like you said, there is a gap between the star WWE perceives her to be, and what the fans see her as.

Charlotte is an elite talent who’s only a victim to the creative musings of an old man. I don’t reveal any gripes during her nxt run and she was very much the gem of the division same as she is now. The difference is always going to come down to how’s she’s booked and how her character is presented.

Charlotte is good. Charlotte's booking can be annoying.

The problem is WWE doesn't have enough women's talent at her level yet. I generally consider Charlotte, Asuka, Sasha, Bayley and Becky significantly above the rest of the women's roster. When Ronda is around I'd include Ronda in that mix as well.
