Beamdog is a Canadian video game developer, publisher, and distributor founded in 2009 by BioWare co-founder Trent Oster and former BioWare lead programmer Cameron Tofer. Beamdog's distribution service was launched in July 2010.

They are no slouches and preceded Borderlands. They are going for more of a combined spiritual successor to Dragon's Lair in looks, while paying homage to roguelike games of yester year. GTFO with that shit.

Reminds me of Jack during the "Handsome AI" side quest in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel expressing his disappointment that Professor Nakayama only planned to give him digital immortality. It was added to tie in with Tales From the Borderlands.
