Beamdog is a Canadian video game developer, publisher, and distributor founded in 2009 by BioWare co-founder Trent Oster and former BioWare lead programmer Cameron Tofer. Beamdog's distribution service was launched in July 2010.

They are no slouches and preceded Borderlands. They are going for more of a combined spiritual successor to Dragon's Lair in looks, while paying homage to roguelike games of yester year. GTFO with that shit.

I don't get the borderlands comparison, lite or otherwise.

They're gonna have to speed up basically everything going on.
