Just saw that they gave Roman a new ugly title that is just a smaller palette-swaped version of the current WWE/Universal belts.

Also watched the Bloodline clip on the YouTubes... super weird that they have just swapped Jimmy and Jey's characters... unless the plan is to have them beat on Jimmy and take him out and Jey finally snaps and becomes Main Event Jey again and fights Roman....

Really enjoyed Rampage this week. Vikingo / Komander / Dralistico absolute insanity, and I always have to appreciate any Shibata matches that end up on TV. Can't believe they've got him wrestling at full strength after all these years and that injury. Love to see it.

Has any angle or faction in the modern era been as engaging for as long as the bloodline. Im still watching every week to see what happens.

Austin vs mcmahon is the last thing I remember having this kind of longevity.

I've really just been watching it via weekly highlights but I think the Bloodline angle partially jumped the shark with me at Mania, although in fairness it had been 2.5 years up to that point.

I say partial because there's still intrigue in seeing the split play out, but the reasoning for it just feels flimsy with me. This is where Roman not dropping the strap at Mania kinda looms large to me. I feel like the impetus for the breakup would've been way more clear if Roman had lost the thing that meant most to him. Starts getting even more controlling and obsessive, afraid that his family would no longer respect him with the irony being that his behavior is the very reason they're turning against him.

Plus in general it feels weird that you've got the title tied up in this angle when you've had nobody even attempt to challenge for the title in over 2 months. It's like nobody even wants to bother challenging Roman anymore because they know they can't beat him. Especially now with a 2nd World Title available which I'm sure even the SmackDown guys will do what AJ did and get "permission" to head to Raw to fight for it rather than have to go through Roman anymore.

Yes I know Roman will eventually defend the title against Jimmy, Jey, and probably even Solo before all is said and done and they'll just keep racking up the days of the title run. But feels like you could've had the champion Cody fighting off Brock and all comers on Raw for the title while the self-contained Bloodline angle would've had more than enough personal juice to continue headlining SmackDown even without a title.

The entire WWE title(s) scene feels messy right now. So we have three world titles with now two belt but apparently the lineage of all three exists and according to front page Romans belts will split out into two titles again later.

It just feels messy and un necessary tbh.
