Link to the comments please?

I can aruge when I get a full pbp of every move. Both the Kane vs Benoit match and especially Orton vs Bejamin stuck me as better matches.

The comment is on the video. Buy the Wrestlemania XX DvD...watch the extra DvD "Mania of Wrestlemania" go to the Kurt Angle Segment....Turn the Volume way up so as to not miss it and listen. Surely someone else on the Boards watched Mania of Wrestlemania and can inform you that indeed the comment was made.

and PBP does nothing for actually seeing it. PBP can be altered to the persons personal feelings towards a wrestler.....I hate arguing with stubborn women

When the PBP is actually litteraly move for move it's close enough.

As I've said, I'm not a fan of Benoit as champ but flat out saying that he isn't entertaining is wrong. Take out all the storylines and just watch him in a match and he is gold.

At the same time though, Triple H can be really entertaining at times too. He can still put on great matches and when he is on, he's fun to watch on the mic. He isn't "bad" in any one aspect of entertainment.

As for Hunter being the saftest worker in the WWE, that's debateable (despite what Kurt Angle may have said, I'm not going to buy a DVD I already paid for to watch live) and also really irrelvant in this line of debate.

ARE YOU IN THE SAME DEBATE AS ME???????

the last 4 post are about HHH being the safest wrestler in the WWE!!! Its very relevant! This is part of the argument that makes HHH one of the best wrestlers.

All I know aboutb that Raw is when I ehard the Triple H-Shawn Michaels feud called the "most storied in history", I heard 5 million remotes click. Or maybe that was just mine.

unless you need 5 million remotes to turn your channel I doubt that happened....First off Wrestling fans dont just change the channel when the going gets rough. We stick through it even when we know were watching complete crap. HIAC was a great match and I wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt make it in the top ten matches of the year.

Yeah I bet Triple H would no-sell the fact that there have been hundreds of matches this year and claim that there have been only 10 2004 matches to get the Cell match into the top 10... :shifty:

Don't try to call me a non-wrestling fan, if that's what you were insiunating. If I can stick with WWE through the last three years I can stick through anything. I was simply trying to make a joke about Jim Ross's exaggerations going way too far.

As long as you aren't going to argue tht the HHH-Michaels rivalry is the furthest from the most storied in WWE history.

And if I'm not mistaken, I heard millions of people begin to snore around the 35th minute of the Triple H-Shawn Michaels HIAC match. The cell could have not been there and it would've been exactly the same.

You're right, real wrestling fans do stick with it. And I do. I'm jsut insulted as a real wrestling fan that this rivalry and this amtch would be called the greatest in WWE hsitory, that's all.

The HBK-HHH rivalry was good though regardless. They work well together. Maybe it dragged on a bit long but meh... it's not the worse thing that could happen. The Summer Slam match between the two is still one of the best wrestling matches in a many many years.

And the Hell In A Cell match was good. Like I said, the two could have put on a match that dwarfed Steamboat-Flair and people would still call it bad simply because too many people are too set in their ways to admit that having the match turned out to be a good idea.

This debate about Benoit vs HHH...

all I have to say is that Benoit needs to be let out on his own and just be himself. Whether you think it looks "heelish" or not, when he first came into WWE, the fans actually liked his "heelish" actions, and intensity more than they liked him trying to be "personable". He got pops for saying disparaging things about Stephanie and basically just being pissed off (which isn't hard to do, but this is BENOIT we're talking about). His alliance with John Cena on SmackDown! was unusually funny because Benoit is one of the more stiff personalities in wrestling...ditto for his feuds with Kurt Angle when Benoit did some hilarious things with Kurt Angle's medals.

What I don't like is how they're trying to make us forget that Benoit is from Canada, so that he can get cheered against La Resistance. Come on, he was called "the Canadian Crippler" for how long?

as for the HBK-HHH feud, I don't have a problem with them, but all I wish is that HBK could have gone over HHH this time. I think they're trying to reinstate an "old-school" lengthy feud with the two of them, but it doesn't really click because WWF/E fans have been retrained to the short-attention span. They do work well together...almost as well as Benoit/Jericho feuds, but eventually it has to end.
