Post your favourite wrestler and I'll tell you;
1. Why they should win a title and which one
2. How this should happen

This is a similar thread to the one I done a week or so ago about 'post a wrestler and I'll tell you why they don't deserve a push'.

Try to fire them in one at a time, because some of the responses will take a while to type up.

Just a bit of fun, so fire away and post up any WWE wrestler and I'll give it a go.

And feel free to spread the rep if you find it entertaining, stupid, or downright bullsh</>it.

BIG SHOW
When he returns from injury he should immediately challenge for the WWE Title, because he's held it a couple of times over the last year or two.

He should return and squash a couple of tag teams, like Gunn/Holly, and the Dudleys, in handicap matches, all the while grinning and referring to them as warm-up matches.
Then he should begin appearing at ringside during the WWE title holders matches, and destroying the No.1 contenders backstage.
Eventually Kurt Angle will give him a number 1 contender match if he beats 5 wrestlers of his choice. Big Show does this with ease, choke-slamming them all from the ring to the outside, and eventually he goes into a programme with Eddie (who has since won back the title) and wins the match and the title.

Kane
Kane
kane should win the Intercontinental Title from Randy Orton on RAW.
(reason being he should hold the IC title for a while before challenging for the Heavyweight title to re-establish some credibility)

Orton claims that there are no great legends left to kill outside of Evolution on RAW, and Kane comes out and brings it to Orton.
They go at it for a few weeks, building up to a real Hardcore/Cell match. Something that there can be no outside interference, but no DQ, and where anything goes.
Orton puts up a great match, but when Kane looks dead and buried, he hits Orton with 3 tombstones, and pins him for the win.

EUGENE :D
Eugene

Eugene should win the RAW tag titles himself in a handicap match against La Resistance.

As a further dastardly plot of bischoff/HHH, Eugene and Flair should challenge for the tag titles on RAW, but Flair is delayed, so HHH sends Eugene out to the ring and tells him to pretend to be Flair and Eugene, until Flair arrives.
So Eugene is out there, tagging himself in and out, and wrestling as Eugene, and when he tags himself, he pretends to be Flair (complete with Wig).
Anyway, as luck would have it, he wins with a figure-four leg lock and wins the tag titles on his own.

Isn't that a bit of overkill? After all, one tombstone is usually enough to put anyone out of commission, yes, even HHH.

Must keep the legend of Orton, the legend killer alive!
Besides, it will help to keep Orton's reputation established and show Kane to be a real hard-ass, who thinks that it's neccessary to do this to stop Orton.

Plus it gives Orton the opportunity for a few weeks off, and then to return and feud with Evolution for not watching his back, and then to do the legend killer thing against Flair.

Triple H or HBK

Long standing favourites. Shawn hasn't been brilliant as of late but I've never been able to shake him off. Always been my favourite since the Bret Hart days.

Triple H is always consistent. Doesn't put that many people over, but it means more when he does put someone over because he doesn't do it that often.

HBK
Should challenge for the World Heavyweight title on RAW.

Shawn Michaels should come back when HHH has the title. HHH issues an open challenge to show how good a wrestler he is, and then this guy comes down the ramp in a mask and a weird costume, and beats him. Removes the mask and shows it is none other than HBK.
Then HBK formally retires, saying he wanted to go out on top, and now is the time. The title is then put up for grabs in a King of the Ring style tournament.

HHH
Should challenge for the World Heavyweight title on RAW.

HHH should have another one on one match with Benoit, and get beaten clean by the wolverine. Then in a rematch, Evolution interferes and HHH gets the belt.
On the next RAW he issues the open challenge (see above)
KOTR Tournament comes down to Benoit v HHH, and Benoit wins.

Funaki
Funaki should challenge for the US Title.

What happens is Funaki cuts a promo about how he's been beaten by everyone who's ever worked for the WWE and some kids outside buying ice-cream and he's had enough. He's tougher than Spike Dudley, he's smarter than the average bear, and he's got everyone's moves figured.
Then he goes on to show that he's got a counter for every move that every wrestler makes. He still gets the crap beaten out of him, but no-one can deliver a finisher on him. He manages to scrape wins by confusing his opponents and then landing tornado DDT's and then hitting them with a microphone. Eventually he enters into a tournament to see who should get the potentially vacant US Title and wins it.
The following week he gets beaten by John Cena, who has finally discarded the FU and has a decent finishing maneuver that Funaki can't combat.

Val Venis
Val Venis should challenge for the Intercontinental Title

He issues a challenge to Randy Orton, along the lines of 'come and get me - I'm a legend'. Orton replies 'You're no legend' and Venis replies 'Of course I am - I fu</>cked your mom.'
Orton gets pissed, accepts the challenge and Val Venis and Orton go at it.
Despite Venis's extensive experience, Orton delivers a blistering RKO, but before he can go for the pin, a video appears on the Titan-Tron of Val Venis and Orton's mom starring in a porno.
Orton drops to his knees with his jaw hanging in shock, and up jumps Venis and makes Orton tap out by submission, from Val Venis's new submission finisher, 'The Deep Throat'.:shifty:
Anyway, Val Venis wins the IC title, and the following week Evolution come out and beat him up and Orton gets the strap back.

Incidentally, Flair and HHH both quietly commented to Venis that they each thought Orton's mom was great in the sack, and Batista thought that Cowboy Bob rode like a bull.

Christian
By special request, Christian challenges for the World Heavyweight title on RAW.

It's the anniversary of the re-introduction of the IC title, and all previous holders are asked to participate in a battle royal to decide who gets to challenge Benoit for the World title on RAW next week.
Well all the guys are going at it, and eventually it comes down to Christian, Edge and Orton. Edge spears Orton, and then grabs him and goes to toss him over the top rope, when Christian runs up and tips both of them over the top, thus securing his main event spot next week.
Well next RAW comes around, and Benoit and Christian are going at it in the ring. Christian is clearly nowhere near as good a technical wrestler as Benoit, and Benoit has been around too long to get caught by Christian's sneaky tricks.
The match is winding up, Christian looks dead on his feet, Benoit delivers 3 German Suplex's and then goes to the top rope for the flying head-butt.
EDGE appears from the crowd and hits the ropes, knocking Benoit down onto the ref, who is knocked out. Edge grabs a couple of chairs and E & C reform with a con-chair-to to Benoit.
Christian goes for the pin, and the ref taps 1...2.....3.

When interviewed backstage, Edge points out that Christian is his brother, and then they go into a 37 second pose.

AJ Styles challenges for the WWE title on Smackdown

In a desperate bid to help the plummeting ratings on Smackdown, Vince buys out the contracts of many of TNA's stars, one of which is AJ Styles.
Rather than risk botching another Invasion storyline, he throws all the TNA and Smackdown guys into a Rumble style match to decide who gets to challenge for the WWE title, including JBL the current holder.
The last 2 wrestlers in the ring are up for the title, and the winner gets the belt, there and then.
AJ Styles enters at 11.
Eddie Guerrero enters at 14
John Cena enters at 15.
Jeff Hardy enters at 28.
Big Show enters at 29.
JBL enters at 30.
Styles, Guerrero and Cena form a loose alliance to get rid of the big hoss's and heels, and everything is going well until hardy comes in at 28.
He tries to deliver a moonsault but accidentally eliminates himself.
This is against Vince's master plan as he is supposed to win the title!
Word comes down from the back to the ref 'PICK SOMEONE'
The ref gives the nod to Big Show, on his way to the ring, and as he gets into the ring and charges everyone, they all dodge out the way and Show tumbles over the top rope and eliminates himself.
JBL then gets the nod, and enters at number 30.
JBL eliminates Cena.
JBL eliminates Eddie.
There's only Styles and JBL left in the ring. They go at it for a while, and while they're wrestling they discuss the finisher. Styles going to the top rope, JBL Clothesline from hell when he lands, JBL throws him over.
AJ sets it up...
He leaps from the top rope when JBL makes his move, and watches in amazement as JBL runs right past him, and goes flying over the top rope.
AJ STYLES IS WWE CHAMPION!

Backstage, Styles asked JBL about why he botched the move, and JBL explained that he didn't want the title again because 'all those internet geek fu</>ckers ruined my like'.

Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho should switch brands and challenge for the Cruiserweight title.
(hear me out on this one)

Jericho appears on Smackdown, totally out of the blue, and cuts an awesome promo on how it upsets him that Smackdown has been poor since Jericho left.
As a result he's gonna clean up the house from the bottom up.
Starting today he's gonna challenge for the CW title, and then once he's gotten that, he's gonna challenge for the US Title, and then once he's gotten that, he's gonna challenge for the WWE title.
Then, and only then, will you see.....Smackdown Is Jericho.

He immediately challenges Rey Mysterio, the current holder of the belt, and they put on a fantastic match. Absolutely first class, and Jericho wins clean, but only just. He gets up, raises Rey's hand and starts the applause for a worthy champion, and promises him first shot at the title once he's won the US title next week.

and so on.......

And then HHH will lead Evolution in an attack on Christian, putting him in hospital. They also attack Edge for the hell of it, and leave him crocked. HHH then takes advantage of the 30-day title defense stipulation, and declares since Christian cannot acheive this stipluation, he must be stripped of the title. HHH then secures a title match against Chris Jericho.

*cut to match*

HHH is getting his ass whipped by Chris Jericho, when he low blows him and Pedigrees Jericho. HHH is going to one-hand pin Jericho, when Christian appears on the Titantron.

Christian: Triple H, as you know, I am the New People's Champion. No matter where my title goes, the people will always be behind me. However, I trust that this situation shall not happen.

Edge then storms out and Spears HHH down. He then picks up Jericho, pats him on the back and points to HHH. HHH tries to run away, but Jericho puts him in the Walls of Jericho.

As HHH sells the Walls, Evolution runs out. Edge holds them off, getting his ass beaten until HHH taps. Evolution is shocked and run into the ring to attack Jericho. Jericho is engaged in a stare-down with them, and they move in...

But Christian limps into the arena, supported by Trish Stratus. Christian says, now can you do now, HHH? Now go back to your hole and cry your heart out, wimp! Then he looks at Jericho. He says, now, Chris. I know you're still sore about losing Trish, but I think the title makes it up, doesn't it? *Jericho looks unsure* And as the former champion, I deserve, and has received permission from Bischoff for a shot at the World Heavyweight Title! And so, next week, on Raw, it'll be the New People's Champion taking on Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Title...

Mick Foley in a bizarre twist challenges Eugene for the tag team titles on RAW.

After seeing the Eugene/'Flair-Eugene' tag title vicory on RAW, Foley turns up and demands a shot at the titles:
Mick Foley & Mankind v Eugene & 'Flair-Eugene'

With Mick being so experienced and Mankind being such a bad-ass eventually they win, even after Mankind accidentally takes a chair-shot from Foley, while Eugene-Flair struts around going 'WOOOOOOO'.
Mick makes the pin after throwing 'Flair-Eugene' from the top rope and getting Mr Socko on the case.

Next week on RAW features an outstanding match of Mick Foley & Mankind v Cactus Jack & Dude Love in Hell In A Cell, which results in another change of title as Cactus Jack hits Mankind off the top of the cell with a flaming, barb-wire-wrapped baseball bat.

(a rarely heard of wrestler in the public domain, but currently running for mod in the worlds best internet wrestling forum, and an established wrestler in his own right, right?)

Dave Mercy challenges for the returned Hardcore Title on RAW

In October RAW is taping live from somewhere in England, and the Hardcore title is currently being held by none other than Batista.
The 24/7 rule is still in effect which resulted in both A-Train and Chuck Palumbo being arrested at Heathrow airport after unsuccesful pin attempts on the plane on the way over to the UK.

Anyway, Batista has a scheduled match against Rhyno for the Hardcore Title, which is hard fought, but Batista's un-natural strength wins out in the end.
Rhyno makes his way back up the ramp, followed by Batista, when a member of the audience catches the attention of the Hardcore Champ.
"Have you ever noticed that Rhyno has a nice ass?", enquires the guy in the audience, at which point Batista stops and stares with a strange smile on his face.
The audience member leaps the barrier, and hits Batista over the back of the head with a nappy full of baby-shit, and as Batista falls, Mercy gets the pin, and is the NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION.

While celebrating, he inadvertantly gets hit with a peanut thrown from the crowd, knocked cold, and as Earl Hebner tries to rouse Dave Mercy, another ref counts 1...2.....3 on Dave Mercy.

The unfortunate Earl Hebner is now the Hardcore Champion, and I am sure is looking forward to his trip to the back.....

The Undertaker

Taker should challenge for the WWE Title.

JBL is cutting a promo about how he is a real American.
Undertakers' gong sounds, the smoke pours, but the Texas Ranger appears on his motorbike, and rides toward the stage.
As he enters the ring, JBL is looking frightened.
Kurt Angle gets wheeled out from the back by Luther Reigns and informs JBL that as Angle, Olympic Medal Winner can't show JBL what an American is, he has asked the Undertaker/American Bad-Ass/Texas Ranger person to sort him out, so right now he has a match.
JBL v Undertaker for the WWE Title.

JBL does everything he can to win, but without Eddie to carry him he appears lost. Taker no sells everything, reducing the 'clothesline from hell' to the 'cuddle from Rochester' and eventually chokeslams his ass.
Not content with that he then tombstones JBL and pins him for the title.

Sadly, JBL is so ashamed that he retires and is never seen again.

RVD Challenges for the WWE Title on Smackdown.

RVD is sick of being crapped on and getting cheated out of victories by various people and stuff and decides that it's time for no more Mr Nice Guy.
It's time for.........The Whole F'n Show!

RVD and Eddie are having a series of matches based around who has the best frogsplash, and they're brilliant matches. (see RAW a few years back)
Out of the ring they begin competing with each other about loads of stuff, leading to a practical joke competition on Kurt Angle.
This is all building up to a huge match at Summerslam for the WWE title, and in a best of 7 series they are at 3 wins each.

Summerslam comes around and they are going at it.
Absolutely outstanding match, loads of near-pins, loads of brilliant moves, the crowd are into it big time, and then BAM - RVD Heel turn!
The Dudleys and Heyman run out and catch Eddie outside the ring while RVD distracts the ref.
Eddie gets multiple chair shots, etc. and then pushed back into the corner of the ring.
RVD hits the Van Daminator, going coast-to-coast, and then pulls Eddie out into the center of the ring and drops the frogsplash on him.
RVD gets the pin.
When the Dudleys and Heyman get in the ring they all celebrate together!

Ric Flair

Flair should challenge for the World Heavyweight Title

So a few months go by, HHH has the belt back and Ric Flair has to go for surgery at some point on his trick-hip.
He manages to persuade HHH that he still has one good match left in him and out of everyone he could wrestle in his last match, he wants 'The Game'.
HHH agrees, and Flair manages to get a title shot written in to the contract.

The match starts and it's obvious that Flair is taking this seriously, and so it HHH.
Loads of chops, punches, struts, WOOOOO's, back-body-drops, knees to the face, etc. The match is going well, but Ric Flair is beginning to tire, and HHH is gaining in the ascendance.
HHH sets up the pedigree, but Flair knocks him down.
Then Flair goes to the top rope, HHH runs up to throw him off, but Flair kicks him in the face.
HHH falls, and Ric 'The Nature Boy' Flair delivers the most beautiful, graceful shooting star press you've ever seen in your life.
The ref goes for the pin....1....2....kick out by HHH!
Flair, being the dirtiest player in the game, but still a bit dizzy from the shooting star press goes for a thumb to the eyes, but pokes the ref by mistake.
HHH grabs his sledgehammer and smashes Flair in the hip, puts him into a figure-four leg lock and Flair looks like he's gonna tap out.
But the Nature Boy is the master of the figure-4 and quickly inverts it so the pressure is on HHH. As it's his last match, he inverts the figure-4 and climbs the ropes with his hands, forcing HHH to tap out.

Flair retires as 17 time World Heavyweight Champion.

The Rock should challenge for the WWE Title on Smackdown

JBL has been to see Angle.
Angle tells him that he has to have a challenger for the WWE title, so JBL insists that it has to be someone that;
1. Can't be Eddie Guerrero
2. Can't be anyone from the Smackdown roster
3. Can't be anyone from OVW
4. Must be American
Angle agrees, and says that he is sure he can get someone to fit the bill.

JBL goes out to the ring for the main event and starts talking about how he's a real American and how he's gonna prove it by taking on another American, and beating them soundly.
As he's waffling on he is interrupted by IF YA SMEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL.......
The Rock enters the arena, the crowd surge to their feet, and JBL looks like he's discovering the result of 4 Vindaloo's and 12 pints of Guinness!
The Rock comes to the ring, takes JBL's mic and explains to him that he's a real American, he's sick of the movies, and he's sick of JBL and he's here to whup some candy-ass.
The match starts, and The Rock drops all his signature moves on JBL and wins the title.

I'll save Loose Cannon some time and for the sake of irony,

Randy Orton
Randy Orton

Randy Orton, current holder of the IC Title decides to go after the World Heavyweight title.

Scenario 1:
Orton goes to Vince's office.
Orton: Hi Vince.
Vince: Have a seat son. What can I do for you?
Orton: I want to go for the World Heavyweight title.
Vince: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...breath. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Orton: *leaves closing door quietly behind him*
(^ couldn't resist it^)

Scenario 2:

Orton having dropped the belt in the afore mentioned Kane storyline, and being totally pissed at Evolution for not helping him when he got Tombstoned 3 times, has a few weeks off to recover from his injuries.
When he returns he decides that perhaps Evolution aren't the buddies he thought they were. Flair sent him postcards, Triple H made no contact at all, and Batista just sent him the usual requests for used underwear.
Orton decides that enough is enough and HHH has to go, and what better way to do it than to use Evolution to make him lose his title.
The plan goes smoothly and Orton works quietly for a few weeks to turn Flair and Batista against HHH, until everything is ready to go.

HHH has the belt after winning it from Benoit, and has been told by Bischoff that he must defend it, but Trips can pick the wrestler.
Orton convinces him that he's the man for the match, and he'll job clean to HHH and make him look good, so Trips heads to the ring, and Orton tells the guys that tonight is the night.

The match gets underway, HHH is doing plenty of posing and strutting, Orton is obviously over-selling everything and HHH is impressed. Flair and Batista are at ringside, and HHH tells Orton it's time for the finish.
HHH sets up Orton for the pedigree, but batista and Flair chair shot HHH, and Orton hits the RKO for the pin.

The three walk back up the ramp with Orton holding the World heavyweight title in his hands, leaving Triple H with a shredded Evolution T-shirt lying on his body.

Still, scenario 1 would be funny as hell to see on RAW...

Billy Gunn
Now this one required some serious thought, and at first I thought of doing a spoof Cruiserweight thing, but thinking about it seriously, I would have to go with the US Title.

Billy Gunn has been tagging with Hardcore Holly, but they have a spat in the middle of the ring, during a match, and Holly causes them to lose.
Billy gets pissed off and batter seven kinds of crap out of Holly (yay!) and Angle sends down some wrestlers to stop him, but he's going berserk!
Eventually, they manage to manhandle him backstage, where they jostle John Cena, current holder of the US title, who replies 'who d'you bitches think you're bumping? You can't see me'
Gunn replies 'You'll see my boot up you ass, ya punk!'

Angle makes the match next week on Smackdown, but Gunn gets DQ'd. It seems his mood hasn't calmed at all and his rage is focussed on Cena.
The following week, Gunn v Cena again, but Holly interferes, and Gunn decks them both with a steel chair. Again DQ.
Angle makes the match with Cena v Gunn v Holly in a Steel Cage match for the following PPV.
The Steel cage match goes ahead with both Gunn and Cena battering the utter crap out of Holly, until he resigns and leaves the WWE forever (another yay!).
Cena and Gunn battle it out for a while, until Cena tries to hit the F-U too close to the ropes. Gunn is able to spring from the ropes and hit the famouser on Cena. For good measure he hits him 4 or 5 times with a chair, and then climbs from the cage, the US champion.

Sadly Angle books a battle rap against Cena in a re-match the following week, where Gunn jobs cleanly.

During a match between Rhyno (current HC Champ) and Kane for the Hardcore Title, Kane wins by a chokeslam through a trashcan and walks up the ramp.
Under the 24/7 rules, anyone can challenge at any time.
Suddenly Booker T's music sounds, and Kane looks up the ramp in confusion.
Booker T appears from through the crowd, and hits Kane right in the face with a shovel.
Kane drops and Booker gets the pin.
Picking up the mic, he yells, 'CAN YOU SUCK THAT.....DIGGER!!!!!!!!!

Matt HardyMatt Hardy
(I'm going to steal quite a bit of this from my 'Where's the Mattitude' thread, but I believe he should be heading for the World Heavyweight Title.

RAW a few weeks back shows Matt doing the right thing by his pregnant girl, getting huge pops, and totally over as a face, and then the killer blow - the baby's not his. Matt walks away.
Matt comes back this week and goes apeshit on Kane's ass, setting up a match for Vengeance on Sunday.

Now, Matt's come back full of rage, totally pissed, and kicking ass. Angry, Hurt, a little paranoid, and after revenge.
No forgiveness for Lita, a HUGE beatdown on Kane, and this is just the start of it.
He wants to kill Kane.
Total him.
Bischoff doesn't want to lose one of his star's, so he starts putting people into Hardy's way. Matt, full of rage kicks ass.
When I say this, I don's mean going for a technical win - I mean that he is out there to destroy anyone that gets in his way. It doesn't matter if it's chairshots and DQ's, hitting people with cars, jumping people from behind, whatever.
Just Matt Hardy on a mission.

Eventually they draft Kane off to Smackdown 'for his own protection' and Bischoff starts getting menacing phone calls, threats in the mail, traps left in his car, etc, and hires a load of protection.

Hardy overhears HHH making jokes about him to Evolution.

Matt Hardy then turns his rage towards Evolution.
He begins taking them out one at a time.

Batista gets hit by a car.
Out for 6-8 weeks, no-one knows who done it.
Flair gets beaten by a baseball bat, CCTV is inconclusive, but people are beginning to suspect it's Matt Hardy.
Flair is out for 4 weeks.
Orton gets beaten, drugged, locked in a crate and shipped to Venezuela along with his IC title.
Leaving Triple H all on his own.

Preferring to face the problem he goes to the ring and calls out the man who hurt Evolution to face him.
No response.
He offers any stipulation to the person for a match.
No response.
He offers a title shot, any stipulation, and anything that person wants.
Cue Matt Hardy.

Hardy comes out, declares it a NO-DQ, Winner takes the belt.
Hardy batters Triple H into a bloody pulp, while getting badly beaten himself.
Bischoff sends out his goons to get Hardy, but they're stopped by the Omega - Jeff Hardy, Hurricane, and a few others.
The match continues and eventually hardy pins Trips to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

but the rage continues........

Paul Heyman

Heyman would challenge for the Tag titles on Smackdown.

Bubba and D-von are up for the tag titles in a table match against Rico & Haas for the WWE Tag Team Titles.
Sadly, D'von was delayed in getting to the arena, after he was explaining to people what happened to the money that Reverend D'Von collected ages ago.
Bubba tells Heyman to get out to the ring with him, as Bubba can win a tables match on his own.
Heyman isn't up for it, but Bubba looks pissed, so he agrees.

Bubba goes out for the match, and spends most of the match beating up Charlie Haas, while Rico spends a huge amount of time chasing Heyman around the arena trying to kiss him and stuff.
Bubba finally puts Haas through a table, and ambushes Rico while he's riding Heyman like a pony.
Bubba tells Heyman to 'get the tables', so Paul grabs one and slides it into the ring, knocking Bubba off his feet.
Rico takes full advantage of this and basically starts grinding Bubba into the turnbuckle with some 'hip-action'.
Heyman, meanwhile is trying to maneauver the table around and inadvertantly drops it onto Bubba and Rico's heads, eliminating them both, and picking up the tag titles.

Michael Cole Michael Cole
Micheal Cole

Michael Cole will win the WWE Championship!

So here's how.
A few weeks before the Royal Rumble 2005 and Vince McMahon is in the ring talking about how JBL had to go after insulting every racial minority and majority, being excommunicated by the pope, and being head-hunted by 14 extremist groups including the KKK and the American Nazi Party.
Cole and Tazz are commentating, and forgetting their mic's are switched on, Tazz asks Cole what he thinks of Vince's speech.
Cole replies, "Who fu</>cking cares? Vince is a dick and bores me to sleep. Wake me when he's done."
Sadly when Vince is watching the taping of Smackdown for editing, he hears Cole's inadvertant comments, and decides that Michael Cole and his compadre, Tazz are gonna get it!

The Royal Rumble comes around, and there are 5 spots unfilled. Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Vince comes out and announces who is getting them.
Vince: The number one shot in the Rumble this year goes to......Kane!
Vince: The number two shot in the Rumble goes to ............Big Show!
Vince: The number three shot in the Rumble goes to ............A-Train!
Vince: The number four shot in the Rumble goes to ..................Tazz!
Cole *commentating*: WHAT? Tazz? WTF?
Tazz: uhhh....ohhhh
Vince: And the number five entrant into the Rumble goes to .........MICHEAL COLE!!!!
Cole looks like the fear of death has been put in him. He doesn't understand why he's being called out to wrestle, and with the 3 monsters already in the ring, it doesn't look good.

So the Rumble starts...
Enter Kane, Enter the Big Show. The 2 square off, and then turn and await the entry of A-Train.
Enter A-Train, who comes down to the ring, shakes hands with Kane and Show and the 3 of them wait for Tazz.
Enter Tazz!!!!!
He comes legging it down to the ring, and this time avoids sitting on the turnbuckle and getting knocked straight out by Kane.
This time he comes straight into the ring, into a sliding headbutt which shatters Big Shows left kneecap, forcing him to fall on A-Train.
Tazz then turns on Kane, who grabs his throat to set him up for the chokeslam. As he's lifted towards the ropes, Tazz turns the move into the Tazzmission, and Kane starts flapping wildly. Meanwhile Tazz has managed to get his legs wrapped around the top rope, and Kane, and when kane starts to fade out, Tazz simply leans over the rope, and Kane goes over, and is eliminated. Tazz, clinging to the ropes with his legs, manages to get back into the ring safely.
Meanwhile A-Train is still trying to dig himself out from under the Big Show, who is moaning in agony. A-Train finally gets up as Cole enters the ring. Train goes for Tazz with the big boot, but trips over Cole, bounces on his head, and goes sailing up onto the turnbuckle, where Tazz shoves him off.

At the point the audience are going mental! Kane and A-Train eliminated, Big Show injured, and by Tazz and Cole!
Big Show gets up, holding onto the ropes for balance, starts growling things at Cole and Tazz "get me chicken and pies and burgers, you short-ass shrimps. Yeah, and get me shrimps too" and other obscenities. Tazz takes a run at The Big Show, and manages to take Show over the top rope, but also eliminates himself!
Micheal Cole is the only participant left in the Rumble!
Enter John Cena.
Cena laughs at Cole and tells him to go sit in the corner. Cole does so.
Enter Rene Dupree.
Cena and Dupreego at it for a while.
Enter Eddie Guerrero.
Eddie comes over to Cole, and whispers 'Lie, Cheat and Steal, Mikey! Slip out under the bottom rope and hide under the ring!' Eddie then turns his attention towards Dupree who has Cena against the top rope.
Cole does as suggested, and hides under the ring.

Anyway, the Rumble proceeds with entrants coming down to the ring, all desperate for a shot at the UnderTakers title, and it comes down to Cena, Eddie, RVD, HBK, Orton and Jamie Noble.
Cena gets eliminated, as does HBK.
RVD goes to go coast to coast, but Eddie hits him with a drop kick in mid-air to put him over the ropes. As Eddie lands, Orton grabs him to push him over the ropes too. The pair go tumbling over leaving Jamie Noble standing in the ring.
Noble immediately goes to the top rope and stands on it celebrating, as Michael Cole appears from the underside of the ring.
Seeing his opportunity, he runs toward Noble and knocks him off the top ropes.
MICHAEL COLE WINS THE ROYAL RUMBLE! COLE IS GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA!!!

So Cole celebrates, Vince comes down to the ring, and states that Cole will indeed challenge the WWE Champ at WM, but who the WWE champ is going to be is still to be determined.

So during the run-up to Wrestlemania, Undertaker has a series of challenges against a masked, muscle-bound opponent, who repeatedly gets the better of the undertaker. The Masked man appears strong, aggressive, fast, talented, and awesome in every aspect. 3 weeks before Wrestlemania, the Masked Man beats Undertaker for the WWE Title. Vince comes to the ring and announces to the crowd.....
Vince: I want you to meet the man who will face Michael Cole at Wrestlemania for the WWE Title. A Man hand picked by me, to destroy the worst commentator in WWE history.
The masked man removes his hood and appears as none other than.........
BROCK LESNAR!
Cole shits his pants. Tazz moves away because of the smell. Smackdown goes off air.

Wrestlemania:
Main Event - Cole makes his way to the ring, looking terrified. Really like a rabbit in the headlights, totally shaking and quivering with fear!
The crowd are chanting 'Cole's gonna die, Cole's gonna die' and 'You're going home in a FedEx coffin Cole, You're going home in a FedEx coffin Cole!'
HERE COMES THE PAIN!
Lesnar enters the ring, and squares up to Cole.
Lesnar: I'm gonna hurt you so much, you're gonna know what hell feels like!
Cole: Hey....I surf the net!
Lesnar goes ape, and grabs him for the F-5, and as Cole is on Lesnar's shoulders, he breathes a sigh of relief, 'At least your not gonna shooting-star-press me!'
Lesnar hearing this, delivers an awesome F-5.
Cole is out cold on the mat.
All Lesnar has to do is go for the pin.
He turns and heads for the turnbuckle.
The crowd look on in disbelief.
He climbs to the top rope and turns...
The crowd surge to their feet in disbelief....
Lesnar launches himself off the ropes, going for the Shooting Star Press finish!
Lesnar soars, turning through the air...........
and lands once more on his face, knocking himself cold.
The impact of such a big guy on the mat, bounces Lesnar onto his back, and makes Cole bounce upwards and land on the now prostrate Lesnar.
Earl Hebner counts...........1................2................3!

COLE IS THE WWE CHAMPION!

bet you thought it couldn't be done?
Worth a rep for that?

Rene Dupree

Rene Dupree challenges for the US Title.

In a reprisal from the Great American Bash, another fatal 4-way match is organised to determine who gets the now vacant US Title.
Cena, RVD, Booker T and Rene Dupree are entered.
Kurt Angle is at ringside in his wheelchair.

The match begins, and once again, RVD is told to job and is eliminated pretty quickly by Booker T.
While Booker T celebrates Cena jumps him from behind, but Booker drops into a long-forgotten Spinaroonie-legsweep-combination move, botching the ending leaving himself in a figure-four-leg-lock.
Booker T in confusion falls for Cena's 'the spider on the mat' gag, and inadvertantly taps out.
Leaving Cena and Rene Dupree fighting it out for the US Title.
Cena brings it to Dupree, and Dupree fights back.
The match goes on for 10 minutes or so, both getting near-pinfalls, and both trying to hit their finishers.
Finally Cena gets Dupree into the F-U position.
As he's standing there doing his best Forrest Gump impression, Angle leaps out of his wheelchair, rips off his plastercast to reveal that not only has the cast been on top of his trousers the entire time, but that he also isn't injured anymore!!
He leaps into the ring and smashes Cena in the head with the plaster cast.
Cena drops like a stone.
Rene, celebrating decides to do the French Tickler dance above the unconscious Cena.
Angle tells him to get the pin.
Rene dances
Angle says 'get the frickin pin'
Rene dances
Angle hits Rene with the cast.
Rene falls unconscious on top of Cena, and get's the pin, for the US Title.

In the story mentioned earlier about Vince panic-buying the contracts of all the top guys from TNA, Raven was one of the acquisitions, and given the nature of the wrestler, a talented, charismatic and skillful wrestler, Vince immediately put him into a programme where he could really showcase his skills - The Hardcore Title!:wtf:

Now then, Raven is in a match with Batista, the current Hardcore Champion, and unbeknown to Raven, Batista just finished dying his hair, and had forgotten to take out his earplugs.
So the match is underway, Raven is wailing on Batista with Trashcans, Stop signs, Steel chairs, lengths of wood, heads of lettuce, absolutely everything possible, and all the time he's calling the match, and Batista just repeats everything he says back to him as a question.
Raven: Gonna hit you with this trashcan, then a stop sign.
Batista: Gonna hit you with this trashcan, then a stop sign?
Raven: Pay attention you big fag!
Batista: Pay attention you big fag?

This goes on for the duration of the match, and eventually Raven can't stand it anymore. He goes berserk, eventually pulling off the win by ramming a Kando stick up Dave's ass, and hitting him with a sledgehammer in the nads.
As Raven pins him, he says 'Quote The Raven, nevermore!

Joey Radd challenges for the WWE Title (after Cole wins it next wrestlemania)

After Cole wins the WWE title from Brock Lesnar, Joey Radd, a complete new-comer to WWE, appears on Smackdown to challenge Cole to a match for the belt.
Now, Cole having had Brock Lesnar F-5 him and botch a shooting-star-press on him, in addition to dealing with a concussion, is currently a little confused.
Joey: Please can I have a match
Cole: What?
Joey: A Match. Please. With you. For the title.
Cole: Huh?
Joey: I'll even let you name the stipulation!
Cole: Must announce news.
Joey: Aallllllright!

So Joey and Cole match up for the WWE Title in the announcers booth, to see who can repeat what happens the quickest.
In the ring are Jamie Noble and Billy Kidman.

Kidman hits Noble with a drop kick, and Cole calls it first
Noble gets up and sets up Kidman for a tiger driver, and Joey calls it first.
Kidman gets up and sets up Noble for the SSP, and Cole calls it first
Noble gets up and goes for the submission move on Kidman. Joey calls it first.

So far the match has been going for a while and because they are even on telling the viewers what's happening, the title still hangs in the balance..

Mysterio does a run-in, leaps to the top rope, bounces in the air, does 2 backward somersaults, a 720 twist, a triple salko and holds the pike position for the longest time.
When he eventually lands he knocks both the wrestlers from the ring.
Joey: That's Radd-ical!

Joey wins the WWE Title from Cole in a 'Must announce News' stipulation WWE challenge title match.

Joey Radd is the champ!

ALF would challenge for the only possible title, Hardcore under 24/7 rules.

Appearing backstage to cheer up wrestlers who were missing Fifi, ALF was busy getting a rub-down from Trish Stratus and Lita.
As Raven, the new Hardcore champ came rushing backstage, Trish and Lita went to move ALF out of Raven's path, but Lita botched the rub-down, and acccidentally swung ALF right into Raven's nuts, dropping him to the floor.
ALF, grabbing Raven by the shoulders to see if he was alright, never noticed that the ref gave the 3 count.

ALF is the Hardcore Champ!

Fifi
Fifi appears backstage for some wrestler petting and spies ALF's backside in the air.
Now Fifi, more commonly known to his doggy-chums as Fido, see's ALF's rear end, and thinks 'Yee-Haa' and runs forward to mount ALF.
Trish: Look! Here comes Fifi!
ALF turns and sees this lovely poodle come running towards him, and as Fifi lands on ALF, he rolls onto his back and begins to pet the dog.
The ref (who must've been on something) counts 1...2...3 and Fifi is now the WWE Hardcore Champ!

Austin
Stone Cold Steve Austin

Gonna twist this a little, but he's gonna pick up the Hardcore Title.

Austin drives into the arena where the whole ALF/Fifi debacle has just taken place.
He's been out quad-biking, shooting, drinking beer all day like a good Texas Redneck should, and he's turned up to see some of his buddies on RAW.

So Austin is driving into the parking lot and Fifi is running away from the crowd of wrestlers trying to pin her for the Hardcore Title, when WHAM!
Austin runs Fifi over........:nono:

He leans out the truck and is looking at everyone, who're all looking at him in condemnation.:foc:
Suddenly the ref (who's still on something) runs out and counts 1...2....3

Austin is declared the Hardcore Champ.

Hulk Hogan, brother
Hulk Hogan

WWE Championship on Smackdown

This one will follow on from the Rock's story where he holds the WWE Championship after kicking JBL's ass.

Hogan comes to Smackdown to tell The Rock well done for kicking JBL's ass and showing him what a real American is.
The Rock said he managed just fine, but why didn't Hulk Hogan do it before the Rock.
Hogan shows Rock his bus pass, and explains about how he's actually really old.
The Rock asks how old, and Hogan replies that he has a younger brother called Moses.
The Rock tells him to get his wrinkly ass out of the ring!

The 2 argue back and forth for a while, and then Hogan spits in Rock's face!
This sets up a match at the next PPV for the title.
Hogan is acting totally heelish, and trying to get to the Rock but the People's champ keeps thwarting him at every turn.

Eventually the PPV comes around, and Rock and Hogan go at it for the 3rd time.
Just when it looks like the Rock is about to get the pin, the lights go out, you hear a chairshot, and then the lights appear and The Rock is decked in the middle of the ring, Vince McMahon is grinning at ringside and so Hogan drops the leg on the Rock, and gets the pin for the WWE title.

When Vince was asked why he interfered, he replied,
Vince: "because JBL was my creation. He was me. And The Rock destroyed that. In destroying JBL, he destroyed a part of me. Hogan deserves to hold the title more than the Rock, but Hogan's turn will come. You'll see!
Hogan: Vince......I'm standing right here!
Vince: But you're hearing's not so good now is it?
Hogan: My earrings made of wood? I don't have any earrings.

Hogan's carers arrive to give him his bath and put him to bed.

Billy Kidman Paul London I'm doing these guys together as they make a fantastic tag team!

WWE Tag Team Champions

The Dudleys beat down Billy Kidman, and injure him, and as a result Kurt Angle is persuaded to strip them of their newly won tag titles, so several weeks go by, and eventually Kidman is fit enough to return.

Kidman and London go to Kurt Angle and tell him that they want a rematch against the Dudleys.
When Angle proposes this to The Dudleys they laugh at this proposal and insist on a stipulation - a tables match!
Angle drops the bombshell on them that Kidman & London had insisted on the same thing.
The match gets set up for Summerslam.

Summerslam comes around, and Kidman and London are first to the ring.
The Dudleys enter, accompanied by Heyman, and try to clear the ring with their strength and power, but Kidman & Londons speed and agility has then foiled.
The match is going on, great stuff, lots of huge bumps, powermoves, high-flying, etc.
Bubba tells D'von to get the tables.
D'Von grabs a table and sets it up in the middle of the ring, and grabs Paul London and goes to the top rope. Bubba has him all set up for a power-bomb through the table.
Bubba leaps...
London comes down at the speed of light and bounces off the table.
Bubba: :wtf:
D'Von: :wtf:
Bubba grabs Kidman and tries the same thing...
Kidman bounces off!
Bubba: :wtf:
D'Von: :wtf:

The Dudley's quickly realise that these 2 cruiserweights don't have enough bodyweight to break a table!
Meantime, London and Kidman have recovered and they climb to opposite corners of the ring, then leaping from the top rope, drive a confused D'Von and Bubba though the same table!

Kidman and London recover the WWE Tag Titles!

The Hurricane
The Hurricane

The Hurricane challenges for the WWE Championship after transferring to Smackdown.

After the whole Matt Hardy storyline, Kane is moved to Smackdown 'for his own protection', and Hurricane is sent as part of the trade.

This leaves him competing in matches in & out of the CW division.
Meantime, Big Show has returned from injury, Kane is raising merry hell, and Taker has the strap.
Now then, Big Show wants a shot at the title, and so does Kane, but Taker is fighting them both off, and the recurring theme of all this is that the victor will ultimately be decided by the most powerful chokeslam.
Eventually Angle makes a match with all 3 of them, and calls it the WWE Championship Chokeslam Invitational. Winner can only pin after chokeslamming opponent inside the ring.

So out comes Show, out comes Kane, out comes Taker, they all look hungry.
STAND BACK - THERE'S A HURRICANE COMING THROUGH!
Enter the Hurricane to the ring.
Show, Kane & Taker are looking amused.
Angle comes out and basically says What The Hurri-Fu*k?
Hurricane relies that it's an 'invitational' for chokeslams, and he does the Chokeslam so count him in.
Eventually Angle relents, and Taker, Show and Kane beat the crap out of him and throw him out of the ring.
Then the 3 giants go at it.
Kane gets eliminated first by Big Show, and Show and Taker battle it out. Taker can't slam Show, but Show can't grip Taker. Eventually Hurricane makes his way back into the ring, and grabs Show at the same time as Taker and they both Chokeslam him.
Taker and Hurricane square off, and Taker starts the beatdown on Helms.
This continues, but he can't ever grip him to put the chokeslam on him, so he decides that Hurricane is gonna get tombstoned off the steel steps.
He grabs them and throws them in the ring, sets up the tombstone, but Helms wriggles out of it.
Shining Wizard to Taker.
When Taker gets back up, Hurricane is standing on the steps in the ring, and as Taker comes towards him, Hurricane grips him for the chokeslam and gets the win.

Shannon Moore
Shannon Moore

The former MF'r challenges for the CW Title.

Rey Mysterio, current holder of the CW Title drops it to Chavo Guerrero, who forms a loose alliance with Jamie Noble.
Mysterio, desperate for the title back, recruits Moore to watch his back.

They get into a few tag team matches, some individual matches, and all the while Mysterio/Moore are getting the victories, but it's Moore who's getting the pinfalls.

Mysterio and Moore have an argument backstage about how Moore keeps 'stealing Mysterio's thunder' and Moore points out that he's out there for himself.
Meantime, an argument has broken out between Chavo and Noble, because Chavo keeps getting pinned.
Eventually the 4 get called for another tag match, which degenerates into a 4 way brawl. Angle calls it a 4 man match, first pin wins, and an outstanding match ensues.
All 4 of these wreslters really take the brakes off, and hit all kinds of wicked moves.
All the time Moore is looking stronger and sharper.
Eventually after hitting the 619 on Mysterio, he gets the pin and walks away CW Champion.

Orlando Jordan & Kanyon
The World Tag Titles on RAW

Orlando Jordan - youth, intensity, potential, eager and hungry
Kanyon - experience, wisdom, ability, desire and drive
Orlando Jordan and Kanyon make an awesome tag team.
They start off doing matches on Heat, and between them deliver some awesome matches. They quickly begin to build a huge face following on HEAT, and are getting huge pops.
They beat all in their path, some victories more difficult than others, and start cutting promo's to get onto RAW and challenge for the titles.
Bischoff gives them their chance but they have to go through several other tag teams to get there.
Eventually Bischoff makes a big song and dance about how they're not good enough to be on RAW, despite tons of evidence to the contrary and tells them they're going back to HEAT.
Before they go they manage to convince him to give them one last shot at a 4 way tag title shot against any other 3 teams of Bischoff's choosing. He agrees and puts in some real bad-ass teams against them, as well as the current champs, La Resistance.

They get beat down, and beat down, but can't get eliminated, and eventually they pick up their game and pull off a succession of finishing maneuvers to get the tag titles.

I seriously think they could make a good tag team.

Sean O'Haire
Sean O'Haire

On RAW and Smackdown promo's start appearing showing a mysterious, muscular silhouette of a man, a big man.
A voice speaks calmly, confidently.

I've seen you all wrestle.
I've seen the best you have to offer.
I've seen it all........
And now I've seen enough.
Call yourselves Champions?
WWE Champ?
World Heavyweight Champ?
I'm coming for you both.
No-one shall stand in my path, for I know you all.
All shall fall before me, for my fury is now unleashed!

The lights go out, and the promo's end.

Nobody knows who this mysterious person is, but he looks impressive, frightening, and above all, confident.

The following week on RAW and Smackdown similar promo's are cut.
A dark room, a comfortable chair, a man sitting in the chair, silhouetted by the light behind him.

Unleashed........and hungry.
I will get my titles.
Summerslam.
I'll be waiting......

The following week on RAW and Smackdown we see a promo:
An empty arena, the camera pans around and we see a ring.
Covering the ring........Hell In A Cell!
Inside the ring is a this mysterious man, cloaked and hooded, talking confidently, quietly and intensely.
You call this frightening?
You call this intimidating?
You call this Hell?
I call it Home.
At Summerslam, Benoit, Bradshaw, you'll find out how inhospitable my home can be!

Speculation is rife about who this mystery person is.

Word comes down from Vince McMahon that the match is on, and unless both champions sign the contract they will be stripped of their belts.
The only reason Vince McMahon gives is that 'he denied this person in the past, and now that debt has been called in full'.

On RAW, Benoit is out at the ring, cutting a promo about this mystery guy, how he has no courage to face him like a man, how he won't unveil himself. Benoit keeps asking, 'Who Are You?'
Appearing out of the rafters is a guy dressed in black, white face paint on, and he says a few quite words before disappearing again;
'I'm Not Telling You Anything You Don't Already Know.......'
Benoit is left in the ring with a nagging expression on his face, like something's troubling him.

The next night on Smackdown, JBL is cutting a similar promo, asking who this guy is, is he Sting?
All of a sudden, a hotdog sails out from the audience and knocks off his hat.
Turning angrily, he picks up the hot-dog, and notices that it has a note attached to it.
Picking it up he reads out the words 'I'm not telling you anything, you don't already know.......'
JBL has that exact same look on his face that Benoit had, something familiar that he can't quite put his finger on.

Summerslam Main Event:
The Cell is lowered over the ring.
Benoit enters and grabs a mic, saying this is his great opportunity to become the Undisputed World Champion, and JBL's music starts.
He comes down, enters the cell, looking nervous, and grabs Benoit's mic, and tells him that's not gonna happen as long as JBL stands in the ring.

The lights dim.....
The crowd rises slowly to it's feet....
A hush descends on the arena.....
Footsteps are heard.....

A man in a cloak, hooded appears at the top of the ramp.
He looks hugely strong, but balanced and poised like a cat.
He stands a good 6 foot 6, and looks intimidating.
None can see his face.
He turns his back to the audience, and slowly raises his arms......
The cloak falls......
We see a figure with his back to us, dark hair tight to his head.
The figure begins to look over his shoulder...
The head turns ever so slowly.......
We see a small thin beard, on a long pointy chin......
We see a sharp pointed nose........
The figure turns and the audience gasp as one.
'Who is that guy' we hear Jerry 'The King' Lawler cry out....
A response is heard from an Internet geek in the rafters..
SEAN O'HAIRE' OUT OF HIS CAGE!!!!!!!!!

This now revealed figure walks towards the cell, staring, unblinking at Benoit, at Bradshaw, still looking menacing, confident, and intense.
He enters the cell, raises his arms, and cries out 'WELCOME TO MY HOME'

He immediately hits JBL right in the side of the head with a jumping spin-kick and just about takes his head off.
Landing like a cat, he looks across at Benoit.....and nods his head.
What happens next is an extraordinary bout of technical wrestling.
O'Haire has been able to watch Benoit for a long time, and has analysed his wrestling technique to a level that Benoit isn't capable of.
O'Haire counters each move Benoit makes before Benoit has decided to do it, and then O'Haire goes on the offensive.
He takes down Benoit with a series of blistering high-speed, high-flying moves, and decks him out in the centre of the ring.
JBL rises to get another jumping spin-kick to the face, knocking him cold next to Benoit.
O'Haire heads towards the corner and climbs to the turnbuckle.
He glances over his shoulder, and then grins to the crowd.
O'Haire takes off flipping backwards into a beautiful Seanton Bomb, landing with an awesome impact on the 2 prone champions.
As O'Haire pins both the champs, the ref counts 1...2....3.

Sean O'Haire - Undisputed Champion!

Ultimo Dragon

Much as I would love to see Ultimo Dragon go further, I think we'll settle for the Cruiserweight Championship at present.

Ultimo Dragon, languishing in Mexico, decides to make it impossible for Vince to bury him anymore.
He immediately sets off to deliver some blistering performances, appearing on TNA, ROH, and every televised Indie he can get onto.
He follows no rules, and drops whatever moves he deems can be performed at any time.
Eventually Vince gives him the call asking if he fancies coming back from his 'Vacation' to the WWE.
Ultimo responds, and sets things alight on House Shows, and appears on Velocity.
Not only does he perform brilliant offense, and sell well, he also appeals to the crowd for responses.
Then he begins a gimmick of asking the crowd pre-match, which finishing maneuver he should use to end the match, and get the pin, by holding up 2 signs and getting them to cheer.
This makes for great pops on Velocity, sales for T-shirts and Dragon Merchandise are up, and so Vince succumbs to the the sensible thing.
He brings him up to Smackdown.
Ultimo Dragon is immediately dropped into Tag Team mediocrity and told to job to Chavo and Noble, however his partner, Akio never gets tagged into the match.
Ultimo really pulls out the stops, and shows what he can really do, making Chavo and Noble look like a couple of pussies. Akio never makes it into the ring, and Ultimo goes for the pin.
Vince is furious, but the fans are calling it a match of the year candidate.
Merchandise requests are through the roof, and Ultimo Dragon does the smart thing. he tells Vince to drop his grievance in exchange for rights for T-shirts, emblems, and future merchandise rights.
Ultimo then moves into a programme of singles matches against Mysterio, and the matches are outstanding. Both wrestlers spend more time in the air than on the mat, but with Ultimo Dragon consistently gaining the upper hand, despite several jobs to Rey.
Eventually his pops are so huge that Vince decides that he should get the strap, and at Summerslam, Ultimo Dragon wins the Cruiserweight Title in a Battle Royal rematch from Wrestlemania 20.
And he still slips.
Twice.

Lance Storm

Despite rumours about Lance Storm retiring as an active wrestler and going to OVW as a coach/trainer, the lack of talent on Smackdown, and the return of Mordecai, and pretty much everyone who came up to WWE has resulted in a shortage of experienced talent on Smackdown.

Lance Storm gets the call from WWE to come back, where he is immediately thrown into the US Title hunt in order to release Cena to the Main Event scene.

Storm goes into a programme with Dupree in a good Canadian v bad Canadian angle.
They have a series of matches ending in a match up to win the US Title, between 2 Canadians.
Storm knows that this current run is all he's gonna get, so he goes out there to make it look like he's retiring on top of his game.
Storm hits every move he's ever used on Dupree. Really puts on a clinic, eventually getting the win from the Sharpshooter.

Still, look at the push he's getting.
He'd be mad over with the fans, and would be able to prove quickly that he's above the other CW's.
With the demand for merchandise as intimated above, he'd be pushed up for the US Title, sharpish!

And that would only be the start, mr Funksteriffic.

And come on........wouldn't you have him slip if you were writing this stuff?

Manami Toyota challenges for the Womens Title on RAW

After making her debut in a battle royal on RAW to decide the womens champion, it comes down to 2 wrestlers, Manami Toyota and Gail Kim.
The 2 square off, and suddenly Gail Kim turns and throws herself over the top rope.
Manami asks in pigeon English why she done that.
Kim replies 'Welcome to the WWE - you'll job next week and never be seen again for months. Been there - done that - got the t-shirt!

Sad but soooooo true.
