Yeah Wise getting the first booking was hardly a suprise. I think your a little harsh on Millwall, what did you expect? They were outplayed and the difference in class between the two teams was obvious, you could not honestly have expected better from them, I thought they played as good as they could, and the scoreline was fitting.
Fair enough. I would have had to have written the same thing for Dazz anyway since he just said the same thing.
And Dazz - Did Wise make a legit tackle in the whole game? That's when he wasn't giving Paul Scholes a sleeper, trying to break Ronaldo's leg or hugging Scholes in the box looking like he wanted to slip him the tongue?
He blocked a shot, maybe from RvN near the egde of the box round about halfway through the second half, and the goal line clearence was top draw.
Scholes is a pussy, and Wise going up to him and saying 'Shut the Fu</>ck up' made my day. LOL at giving him a 'sleeper'

DAMMIT
I knew I should've put money on Wise getting the 1st booking :'(
<font face=verdana size=3 color="#ff6600">I had some money on Scholes to get the first goal. I nearly cried when he missed that chance in the first half from Ronaldo's cross. :'(</font>
Wise is a bitch.
I hope I never see him in the Palais again!

And you forgot Jody Morris ;)
Anyways, Wisey is, and always will be the man.

He honestly is the man, just chases down everything.I think he'd get on alright down there because Pompey fans seem to appreciate hard workers.
I'm just a bit dissappointed he's going after we gave him another chance and stood by him through La Manga.:-\

I like Dickov too because he is tough but fair and don't give a sh</>it about upsetting anyone. You had to give him a chance after La Manga though because 1 - he didn't do anything and 2 - he was your best player.

Best player is debatable but he was doing fairly well.
It's not the La Manga thing i'm that bothered about, just that when we signed him he was in Man City's reserves.I just think that he should acknowledge that.

Ronaldo was 10-1 to score the first goal
I wish I HAD put the bet on, rather than going back to bed

Also, just thought I'd say, I don't say things like this a lot about Man U, and for good reason (not just because I'm a Scouse fan) but what they did for Jimmy Davis was really classy and nice to see something like that, so, for once, well done Man U :y:
Yeah it was very classy and nice they still remember one of their own. Pro wrestling could learn a lot.

woo. alan hansen on ronaldo:
"The argument has been would you rather be playing with him or against him?"
that's right, alan hansen of "you can't win anything with kids" fame.
Yeah every defence in the world rather have Ronaldo running against them instead of attacking the other defence wouldn't they Alan?

Ronaldo would piss me off right now too, if I was playing with him. He doesn't get crosses in early enough, and he is putting them too close to the keeper or the first man, right now.
Wingers who always cut back or try to beat the man when they don't really have to piss me off when I'm playing.
I love him to bits, though. Best player to watch this season, by far. He'll be wonderful in a few seasons. I've said it all along, he reminds me a young Thierry Henry. At that age Henry had the pace, power and skill with two feet, but he hadn't put it all together. Ronaldo is the same. All the right ingredients to be a world class performer.

I agree on the crosses, but he's great, and he makes utter fools out of defenders most of the time. Even if the end product isn't quite there yet, he's getting better, he's full of confidence, and the fans love him. I'd rather be playing with him than Giggs this season.

Maybe it's cause Dichio was missing as he's actually a half-decent target man but Neil Harris was absolutely atrocious, the ball bounced off him every time he went near it and cause of that Millwall never had a chance to get forward or even have decent possession in United's half, which effectively reduced players like Cahill and Livermore to cameos, and it showed when they almost looked surprised to get the ball.

Also, man alive were Millwall shite. The only player who even looked remotely decent was Ifill, rest of them (Wise excepted) could barely control the ball. If that's the standard required to finish 10th in Div 1 now we should walk it.
Same here.

Well, you have gone relegation, promotion, relegation the last 3 seasons, so I wouldn't put it past you.
It's a shame that teams like Leicester and West Brom can't make a commitment. Just pick a division and stick with it

man, i just watched the highlights. ronaldo was great, and wise is a tit. I think his pride got hurt after he went for a 50/50 ball with keane at the beginning and ended up on his arse, so he got gobby with just about everyone else. Fu</>cking angry elves, i tell you.
Wise was shit, :wtf: - he made Keane looked totally off the pace.
Eriksson fu</>cked up by making Ruud man of the match. Granted he <s>played well</s> scored twice, but he is overrated, but Ronaldo was the star man and deserved the award. It's becoming clichéd to say it but in a few years he'll be one of the best players in the world - a true star in the making.
Hopefully yesterday will be a spring-board for us into next season. A lot of work still needs to be done this summer (a new left winger, an extra striker ((Smith)) and a creative midfielder ((we're sigining Miller...?)) along with a few departures) but I'm crossing my fingers we'll be back to give the Arse-holes and <s>the rent boys </s>The Mighty Blues a hiding next season. *holds on to <s>blind</s> no hope*

Sums up my thoughts on Dennis Wise.
Cunt, thats what he does, he is commonly known as a 'wind up merchant' because he annoys players, similar to Savage. You say that no one would care about Savage if he is shit, I guess the same applies to Wise ;). They guy was off the pace, but then so was the whole team, 10th in Division One they came, I really do not know what you expected.
Dennis Wise will always be the man, I would love to see Ruud Gullit or Glenn Hoddle back as coach, with Wisey as their assistant.
OH DENNIS WIIIIIIISE,
SCORED A FU</>CKING GREAT GOOOOOOALLLLLLLLL,
IN THE SAN SIROOOOOOOOOO,
WITH TEN MINUTES TO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I love him :'(.
This is almost the F.A cup...The F.A trophy, anyone watching it? 2-2 and then in the 87th minute Hednesford's player/assistant manager scored a great goal.
Wengerland
05-23-2004, 02:32 PM
Nah i wasn't watching it.
Sure Savage winds people up,but he's never been sent off and i don't think has ever done anything like what Wise did in sort of pushing Ronaldo in the face.

RVN as man of the match was ridiculous.
Ronaldo all the way. :y: he was class I have to say. If he produces like that week in week out in the Premiership he could be one of the best ever.
