Just out of curiosity who do you believe should have been the real #2 ranked team to face off against USC in the national championship?
I believe Auburn was shafted.

Auburn without a shadow of a doubt, but you forgot to add Utah to this list. They were definitely in the same boat that Auburn was/is in.

more than just Utah... the BCS has screwed up big time this season

We say that everytime around this time of year though, ever since the system was put into the league. They need to get rid of it and have the polls decide.

You guys act like Oklahoma didn't steamroll pretty much everyone they played. Yes Auburn is deserving, but what exactly has Oklahoma done to lose their spot in the game?

Oklahoma is really overrated. I mean Auburn really dominated this season. It's like they have one game when it was getting a lil close against Tennessee for the SEC championship and so they get tossed to the number three slot while Oklahoma faces off mainly against teams not deemed as a threat and rip them to shreds.
They really do need to get rid of the BCS cause it is flawed in so many areas.

I would put rather see Auburn in the title game, but I don't have much of a problem with Oklahoma being there.

Texas isn't a threat?
BTW let's look at schedules here. Oklahoma scheduled games against Bowling Green and Oregon who both usually field good teams year in and year out. Auburn schedules games against Louisana Monroe and The Citadel. The Citadel isn't even a D 1-A school
Auburn really doesn't have anyone to blame but themselves

Now, do I think Auburn deserves to be in it? Yes. Do I believe Oklahoma should be booted? No. In my honest opinion, USC should be booted
But, Auburn does not have anyone to blame except their douche bag coach. He schedules...The Citadel and Louisiana Monroe? Lets get serious here Tommy. Had he scheduled ONE good non conference team, we might not be talking this way.
Then again, the media and the coaches are on USC's cocks so it probably wouldn't matter.

It doesn't really matter. All 3 teams are equally nasty. I think if Auburn started out the year as #2 they'd be going to the bowl game, not Oklahoma. Oklahoma never really did anything to prove that it SHOULDNT be #2, and neither did USC. Media is all over USC's cock because do you remember what happened last year? After being snubbed just like Auburn is this year, they kept it together, romped Michigan in their bowl game. And have been on a winning streak ever since.

This is a shitty situation because all three of these teams are good and stuff, but only two could play for the national championship and really I don't see how you can say one of the two they chose wasn't deserving.
This just helps make the case for a playoff system, thats how it should have been and there wouldn't be this drama.

Yeah there should be a playoff, but they NCAA is all about the $$$
