I haven't heard a crowd that into a segment in the longest time. They were dam near rioting the place. I really felt that and I was just standing there is awe. I couldn't believe the WWE actually let Hardy do and say what he did.

The whole taking 20 guys to handcuff him. Just Wow. One of the most surreal moments I've ever seen in wrestling

Marty Wright was the big scary black dude who pretended he was young enough to compete on the Million Dollar Tough Enough. He got signed to a development deal, even though he couldn't compete on the show. Recently, he's started showing up in OVW as the "Boogeyman," and now apparently they're giving him a slot on RAW.

He was portrayed as a disgruntled outsider, and the ROH reference made me REALLY wonder about the reality of the whole thing.

Speaking of ROH, I marked out when Matt Striker almost lasted the 3 minutes in the Kurt Angle invitational. I saw Striker at the most recent ROH show in Lake Grove, so seeing him on Raw (and almost beat the challenge) was awesome.

So yeah. 8/10. -1 for Diva Search, -1 for Masters. (They're putting over his finisher more than the man himself; ignore the finish and Tajiri owned him. Owned.)

Awesome job by the WWE tonight, most of us come on here and just talk how its goin in the crapper, wow. Other then that stupid diva search, was a great Raw.

I loved the Carlito/Shelton match.

The Angle Invitational actually had me on the edge of my seat, didnt think that would happen when it started just 3 minutes before that.

the HBK segment was perfect as well, predicable Kick to Piper, but none the less got over what it needed to.

The Hardy thing, originally when the backstage thing happened was like "What that's it?" then they actually bring him out for that. I dunno if was a work or not but had be believeing he was royaly pissed off. Great job.

The Jericho/Carlito confrontation I figured would happen even further down the line, and was ticked to begin but when Piper came out, just made the whole segment perfectly timed. Swerved again.

Beat the hell out of last weeks show. Amazing.

I must say i agree with LC on this one. It has been a loooooonnnnngggg time since i've seen a segment with the crowd into it like it was...the last one i can remember was when HBK returned in '02.

It's funny because me and my boys were watching the whole thing and i was the only one like "HOLY F'N S***!" "THIS SHIT IS NOT HAPPENING" when Hardy was appearing. Cornette went on to state that OVW has refused to train him and that the OVW wrestlers and employees thought he was dangerous. If fans should spot the man on OVW property, Cornette concluded, "Stay away from him!"

Well last time Matt was on TV, from what I remember, he was trying to interrupt Kane's marriage to Lita. So according to WWE storylines, Lita abandoned him for Kane and then Edge. So he should hate Kane, Edge, and Lita.

In any case, I knew it was Matt (or at least a good impersonator) because he was bowlegged. Anyway, this is the first Raw I've seen in a while, and outside of the Hardy thing and a few select moments, it seemed pretty weak to me. Smackdown was MUCH better IMO, though this Matt Hardy thing is really impressive.

The minute we saw someone attack Edge, I was like "Is that....HOLY FUCK IT IS...THATS FUCKING MATT!" During the break the entire crowd was going apeshit, chanting Hardy and We Want Matt. I like the way they are bringing him back.

HBK was not over as a heel, plenty of HBK chants, but also plenty of Hogan chants.

Batista/Cena vs. HHH/JBL dark match was the goods. HHH got a loud ass pop when his music hit, as did Dancin Dave. HHH did his "get kicked in the face/stand there for a minute/flair flop". Double pin with Cena FUing JBL and Batista spinebusting HHH.

WOW, I was on vacation for a week and a half, with no internet access, so what a way to return my post. I could not believe Matt Fkn Hardy showed up. I know everyone including myself is really second guessing themselves over how this whole thing has happened the last few months. I don't think it's a complete work. I think that WWE tried everything they could to get rid of Matt, but people have still wanted him, so I think they were forced to bring him back. Either way, shit is gonna get crazy now.

RAW was still a great show. The talk show arguments were good, IC match was great. Angle Invitational is back!! Diva search sucked, but I'm going with either Ashley or Cameron as my picks. But no Big Vis, so I don't get any fantasy points for him this week. What a RAW!

Predictions for Next Week:

1. Carlito is gonna get more "Sideshow Bob" chants. He is following a classic formula: Cheat, Do Dastardly Acts, Somebody dropped a line that people could chant at him (Jericho. Piper did too, but the fans are younger, they'll remember Sideshow Bob better than Buckwheat), and most importantly, HE SOLD THE CHANT. How hard is it to sell a chant? Rotunda sold the "Irwin" chants during his run as IRS, the Brain sold the "Weasel" chants. If the fans believe that they can get into a wrestler's head by chanting at him, they'll chant more often.

2. Either Warrior Babe or Painter Skank is gone. I am liking Ashley more and more. especially considering that she's the only one whose name I remember.

3. Diva Search thing for next week is gonna suck. duh.

4. Triple H won't be on Raw Television.
